- Over The Top: WWI is a 3rd person / 1st person World War 1 shooter that seriously surpised me, and made for a genuinely fun experience with some weird Battlefield Heroes vibes that I think I'd recommend for the right price.

@@GoonyMclinux There won't be, as it is not necessary. Everything is controlled by the server, which prevents cheating out of the box. We already had players playing on Proton btw.

Without a doubt has potential especially with the trench digging mechanic that's gonna spark some creative imaginations.

Wow! Was just about to comment that it looks like Enlisted and Battle Cry of Freedom (a civil war game I used to play) put together in the WW1 era, when I realized that BCOF shut down to announce they were working on this game lmao.

im really sad that beyond the wire is dead. I played it for the first time very long ago when there was servers on it and i really thought that it would become big. but no. I WANTED IT TO BE POPULAR ITS STILL A GOOD GAME.
Same thing with Post Scriptum in my opinion. Another Squad engine cool tactical shooter that hardly anyone plays.
@@me-zx2rs Yeah with that game. i bought it and joined a match and refunded DIRECTLY. maybe i joined a weird game but it didnt look anything like all ive seen. and it just felt very weird. just my opinion tho

I remember Isonzo's launch. I was a big fan of Verdun/Tannenberg, but isonzo.. eugh. I think it suffers gameplay-wise in comparison, so much that I refunded it on Launch. Might be different now, but when I play the maps were sniper hell- I remember spawning in and dying instantously to a sniper, and never encountering any enjoyment. I played as many games as I could within the 2 hours and was thoroughly disappointed at how lacking i felt it was in terms of fun in comparison to my experience with the past entries.

Isonzo, Verdun and Tannenburg are great because you can play single player. It's a good thing if you're like me and loathe being in the presence of other people.
