    • @fbhottie25

      It's literally just a Mississippi thing and it's usually just the kool-aid out of the packs. It adds flavor but doesn't make the pickle sweet. Some people add sugar, but it's not usually made that way.

    • @paintedcrow
      @paintedcrow 9 років тому

      Well, I can't say much about the population thing without looking up statistics... but the other two differences are kind of negated when you consider that Europeans tend to speak multiple languages because they're exposed to different native speakers much more than Americans and have a much better school system, and if you consider the European Union as a sort of amalgam of the different countries that make it up the way the United States is kind of an amalgam of states.
      It's really quite similar. Not a perfect comparison but mostly fair.

      A sweet pickle and which ever flavor/color its infused with. Not really vinegary because instead of putting back in pickle juice its boiled and stored in kool aid (1 qt with 1 pack and 2 cups sugar).

    • @IdgaradLyracant
      @IdgaradLyracant 9 років тому +1

      a combination of pork and gelatin. Usually made by boiling the head of a pig. May also include veggies, pork brains, sometimes organ meat. It's like the fruit-cake of animal products. Plenty of videos on making it. You can find it in the deli section of most markets still. "Haggis is to Scotland as Lutefisk is to Norway as Head Cheese is to America" Not a terribly large number of people eat it but we like to torment tourists with it ;)
