- Welcome back to the second episode of the elegantly named 'Jimmy goes abroad and takes photos series!
In this POV street and landscape photography video I'll be walking around Montenegro with my friends from Uni. I am very lucky to know an excellent tour guide and local photographer @dan_ilo who will be showing us some photo opps in the local area.

@@JimmyShixin May i ask, should i rather get the tamron 17-70 or the sigma 18-50, which will save me 200 euros? It is a VERY big decision for me...i need to know.
love the video ..jimmy , i was confused between sigma 18-50 and tamron 17-70 ....watching your videos i ended up with tamron 17-70 ..and i don't regret it ..... one question ..do you use any filters for this lens while shooting it in bright daylight ?
Nope! Not for photos, maybe sometimes a 12.5% most filter actually, VND for filming. But 90% of the time no filter

Hi Jimmy. Are you using digital zoom on your camera. Because I can't get this zoom distance you're showing in the video with the same lens on the Sony FX30 with optical zoom
Hey! I don’t use any digital zoom on my camera as it compromises on picture quality. I do however crop images sometimes so maybe that’s why it looks more zoomed in? Also the GoPro is wide angle making things look further away
Another guess would’ve been that I’m using an APSC camera which results in that 1.5x multiplication factor for your focal length but the FX30 is also APSC I believe

Wie hast du deine Soundeinstellung in der GoPro? Mir ist aufgefallen, dass mein Sound eher mittelmäßig ist 😂. Schönes POV Jimmy!

Ehrlich gesagt keine Ahnung haha, hab nichts mit dem GoPro audiomäßig gemacht - funktioniert normalerweise ganz gut aber manchmal klingt es "muffled"? Nicht sicher warum, any ideas?

Hammer Bilder, warum fotografierst du mit f4 und nicht z.b. f8 um mehr Tiefenschärfe zu haben?
gute frage, ich muss echt mal anfangen das öfter zu machen - als beginner hatte ich immer die tendenz immer die niedrigste Aperture zu benutzen (komplett dumm ich weiss) - deswegen fühlt sich F4 für mich schon "hoch" an - muss mich also einfach noch umgewöhnen 😅

@@JimmyShixin I'm not too sure how common but I'd seen a few people mention it online in reviews etc. I'm also not sure if it would affect performance if it did happen
thats a bit concering but I've not noticed / heard anything personally - mine works fine!

I noticed the blue of the sky did not match that of your video. I have read that some recommend enabling hdr to adjust for this. Any experience with this?
as in you mean the blue from the go pro was different from the blue in the photos? Or did you mean smth else?
@@JimmyShixin at least in the video where you showed the image from the camera, it looks like the photo has more of a gray tone to the sky rather than the royal blue visible in the go pro video. I wonder if the sky is getting overexposed compared to the primary area of the picture.

How come the aperture is 4 in all the photos when it's a fixed aperture lens at f 2.8 ? Can someone explain?
Hey! It's not a fixed aperture lens - when people name lenses lile "Tamron 17-70mm F2.8" the F number is the lowest possible Aperture. This means you can still use that lens at F4, F8, F15 etc
