I've got two. Last update screwed up my audio and I spent a week going through TV, app, and shield settings until I figured it was the Shield audio settings and had to force stereo because 5.1 somehow stopped working. It was great while it lasted, bought them day 1, but I'm pretty sure it's over now. Even the games I bought for it are no longer updated and refuse to run on it. Half the emulators I bought for it are no longer supported. Hey, if you want to use it as a Plex server, the encoding and streaming works great, but at the price and way too many games, apps and features losing support it's no longer worth the price to buy new. Last update now makes advertising for streaming services 1/3 of the screen. Nothing says premium like getting "watch this now" constantly shoved down your throat.
Don't bother with Nvidia streamers. You can get a Chromecast for 50$ that works better. Nvidia shut down their official game streaming from PC, making these devices borderline useless and breaking trust with anyone who bought one of these.

Isn't Shield TV like 8 years old? Runs the same Tegra X1 as Nintendo Switch.
