Ki-Adi-Mundi was 60 years old in The Phantom Menace. Since this show takes place in 132 BBY, that's 100 years before The Phantom Menace, this is 40 years before Ki-Aid-Mundi was born. This is lore breaking to have him in it.

Where in a show or movie is this established? If you’re only getting this from a book or wookiepedia, then it’s irrelevant and does not matter. This is called a retcon. Though I’m not sure if canon really even established his age at all

Disney's Star Wars retcon this by having him already being Jedi Master in 132 BBY. (As a side note they also retcon how long his species, Cereans, live for.)
Tbh, Ki-Adi Mundi's cameo in The Acolyte totally defeats the whole purpose of his line in TPM "The Sith have been extinct for a milennia." I'll give the Acolyte show a Your Mother/10 final score.
How so? Because they don’t mention anything about sith in his scene or this episode so how do it ruin it.

Personally, I like the show, it’s not my favourite Star Wars series by any means, but I’m just glad to see some Star Wars content that doesn’t take place during the prequels or OT era’s for once, cuz it’s been overused. My favourite Star Wars series are The Clone Wars and Mandalorian and Kenobi.
The Bad Batch also to me was awesome! The Clones need more stories

People like you say that, and then you don’t even justify your bad opinion. As for Ki Adi Mundi, whether they knew or not is irrelevant as his age does not matter. His age was never made canon under Disney, and him being this old doesn’t break the lore or the canon. It makes perfect sense. The book that mentions his age isn’t canon, and his age does not matter story wise nor does it affect the plot in a negative way. You just hate that they didn’t follow a legends book when they haven’t been following legends already (well depending on what we are talking about. They sorta picked and chooses concepts from legends to take like Palpatines return. It’s just that when they borrow from legends it tends to suck with some rare exceptions).
For anyone who might get confused, Ki-Adi Mundi’s age was only shown in Legends. And technically they don’t really know it’s specifically a Sith, just a traitor among them, so nobody freak out, the cannon is not broken yet

It's honestly weird to see Ki-Adi in the Acolyte... I mean, why is he there? Is it... like... Necessary in any capacity? As far as I can tell, it makes zero sense.
I mean, first of all, it changes what we know from Legends when it comes to the age of Cereans... Okay, fair enough... I don't see why that was necessary to do though.
Secondly, Ki-Adi Mundi doesn't really play any role in the series thus far that could only ever be played by him specifically... So... Again, why is he here?
If I were the director of this show and someone suggested to me "How about we include Ki-Adi Mundi in this scene?" I'd immediately look at them and ask "Is he alive at this moment in time? I mean, this takes place 100 years before episode 1 after all... How old does his specie get exactly?" If they answer with "Oh his specie has no given age so we can say they age like Wookiees or something." I'd ask them "What does Legends say? If we have no answer for Canon, we follow what Legends is saying." And turns out Legends says Ki-Adi was BORN in 93 BBY!
And as a result, it SHOULD be absolutely impossible for him to be here, and if that is the case, have someone else in Ki-Adi's shoes instead. They can still be a Cerean if that is absolutely required by the writer, but if the are a Cerean, they CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be Ki-Adi Mundi. Hell, it'd actually be more preferred if they weren't even a Cerean, as the specie was almost extinct by the time of the clone wars, so they are few in numbers already. Why not have them be a Nautolan, right? Not Kit Fisto, obviously, but a different Nautolan. I think that'd be cool to see.

@@lordfury18 The entire Jedi temple is built on top of a Sith Temple, this is a secret the Jedi absolutely keep under wraps to limit their political vulnerability. This deception (within the lore) is the brainchild of Lucas via The Clone Wars, so this isn't even new thing. The Jedi have never been perfect nor made the smartest decisions and he's been crystal clear on that.
Besides, we don't know that its deception. Darth Smiley might be about to murder everyone in the forest. The survivors of this, if any, may get murdered in the next four episodes. Or survivors could lie to the Jedi about what happened. Or maybe this isn't even a Sith. All the people that are complaining are doing is bragging about their own impatience and lack of imagination. None of us are qualified yet to say whether this is "canon-breaking" or not until the show has concluded.

They do this all the time. Retcons have been a part of Star Wars since Empire Strikes Back. Lucas retconned again in RotJ. They've been editing the reference guides for decades now, it just wasn't cool to pretend to hate Star Wars back then
