I do feel that they should have given Virgil some of his Urizen attacks to show he's done more than just get "stronger". Simple things like when he teleports a sweeping laser is fired from where he was, his lunging swipe follows up with a rain of energy, and his charge attack slowing the player when in its range.
The dynamic battle music is having a panic attack. Pull My Devil Trigger? More like Pull My Anxiety Trigger.
