When I search for a water pump mine shows Auxiliary water pump and one like the one you’re changing. Where can I find the auxiliary water pump?

Did you use a sealant with the gasket on the water pump? Like a RTV sealant.

@@mercedessportcarrepair1944 Another thing is that we replaced the water pump and now the car overheats because the water does not run through the engine

@@shdwskyzz8547 my brother if you don’t have coolant bleeding machine , then disconnected coolant return line then start the engine wait for 5 minutes
Switch off engine top-up coolant repeat process,
      Check air bubbles coming,
Do this 5 to 10 times

I am thinking of buying a Mercedes looking into common engine parts, as any vehicle goes through.
Good to know the water pump is outside not internally.
I disagree with the water pump being close to the alternator 🤷‍♂️. That design 😂 yeah may cause electrical problems 🤔 i wonder why now?
Just imagine driving on the road. The pressure breaks the gasket or sealant. Due to the pressure it shoots water near the alternator. The alternator is generating electricity to charge the battery. If the alternator goes bad and decides to go maniac and gives full electricity to the battery and electricity directs it to the components = burn them. So now what? one by one to find the burns ones. Aaaah hell 😂.
