Well this isn't how it should look at the end this is a plastic weld you sand the area and create a grove on the crack then melt hot plastic into the crack welding it to gather and on the top its pretty much just stapling hot metal into the plastic to hold it together then you would sand the top down and put bondo on on the crack to make it smoth and to hide the Staples then paint and blend it together then your car should look fine

He didn’t show the rest of the steps, also this is a reattachment not a cosmetic repair and would make most certified automotive technicians cry, a proper procedure would be using fiberglass patches or plastic weld (which is actually not as expensive and can be done with a shop heatgun and plastic weld stick thats the same type of plastic as the bumper [yes they vary and not just by brand]) but anyways, the next steps would be to sand down excess plastic, lower it slightly below rest of surface so you have a guaranteed smooth dip where the damage is, next apply a coat of body filler, sand until you cam slide your hand omg it w your eyes closed and feel no deformations, then apply a thin hard pressed coat of body filler glaze, to fill in any microscopic pin holes in the body filler, you would then spray surfacer, start HAND sanding with 320 and work your way to 600 (using the 100 grit rule) then spray sealer, color and finally clear, you would then polish the piece and reattach the bumper to the vehicle😁 (you’re car would then have sale value restored, and could be sold as if no dmg was ever done)
