does the unit have to be in the water to run? Is There a sensor that detects water? I have purchased one, but I can't seem to get it started to test it. Battery is fully charged.
The red screw on piece goes on your pump it then screws into your inner nosecone you then pump air in and it pops open your rubber band is to stop your nosecone hitting you in the face when you pump air in it should not be in place when it is reassembled.
It's not for everyone but it does get you from A to B a bit faster. I use it mostly to get out to deeper a bit quicker, it gives you about 3x range compared to fins only. But I mostly like the smooth tracking shots it can provide for video, bit like an underwater drone. I just get to where I want to go and just park it and fin around then come back and get it again

i have a feeling it is a replica or licensed version of a Seadoo model just with yamaha logos on it, i'm not sure. i have had it for a year and it has performed quite well i think
Very enjoyable and especially amusing watching the construction and testing team!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Couple of shots and a nice Stingray at Flinders too

@CaptainEllisK no it doesn't need to be in water to run. You do need to turn it on with a lever on the right
@@underwater_and_randoms thank you Come to find out I have dead batteries that need to be replaced
