Depends on the purpose and use, on a yacht sure, Seabob is not so suitable for someone who require something small, portable and lightweight.

@@br8future 1) Insufficient range, 2) Insufficient depth rating, 3) Insufficient thrust, 4) They almost all required 2 hands so you cannot look at your dive computer or gauges without stopping.

I have the Sublue white shark mix. It’s fast for an adult and even 2 people at the same time. But going downward it gets real slow.

@@RickC_ Incorrect, at least with the Lefeet. I went diving with it and can operate it one handed while checking my gauges/ computer. It is an asset. My air consumption improved vastly. A typical current is no longer an issue.

As some one who has been diving over 20 continuous years as a scuba instructor and free diver , I can say that any one with enough experience with scuba can operate any of those toys

The SCUBAJET I believe to be the real deal, tho I have not tested it. However...The HoverStar Aquajet is a piece of junk. It is notoriously unreliable, it weighs a ton, it is actually NOTnimble at all underwater but cumbersome to even turn quickly. Anyone who has truly used this knows I am telling the truth. The "speed button" is very unreliable and will only likely work for a short time before failing. AND the company put this out to market and then abandoned it within 3 years. No help, no support and NO replacement parts. I paid over $1200 for this and got maybe a total of 10 uses out of it - and this with not one but 2 replacement right wings which house the failed (twice!) speed button. Now the distributor cannot help me because the manufacturer (another fail from SHENZEN) has not only stopped selling it but will not provide replacement parts. In short I got screwed. BUT it sure LOOKS nice. Do NOT buy new (if you can even find one now) DO NOT buy used - you have my guarantee the seller is trying to dump it in disappointment. It should be some kind of international crime that a company can make somethjing and then sell it worldwide only to dump it a few years later, leavinbg the consumer ripped off with no recourse. Be very suspicious of the Shenzen based company, HAVOSPARK that made this joke and be very cautious about any other products they may produce. You will be sorry if you waste your hard earned US dollars on their products
