You can find me designing stencils for StencilGirl Products, teaching in person and online workshops and sharing the message of O.O.P.S. here on UA-cam and on the blog, aColorfulJourney.com
What does O.O.P.S. stand for? It stands for Outstanding Opportunities Presenting Suddenly.
Those “failures” and “mistakes” that we so harshly criticized ourselves about actually became true gifts as soon as you start saying O.O.P.S. Try saying Oops in an angry tone. It makes it even more silly!
I just can’t take myself seriously when I say Oops which is just what I needed to play. I began to play, to have fun, and to embrace all of my “mistakes”.

Carolyn, you are the *queen* of found object gel printing ❤
Love your idea of using the shower rings. It's fun to see ordinary household items have a totally different purpose! Had to laugh when you lifted the print that was not your favorite - - that's the one I absolutely adore the most - LOL!! Thank you for another great tutorial 💕
I really like the print you didn't like. I am looking forward to my birthday present of your gel printing with pan pastels class.
Great idea to use the shower curtain rings, Carolyn !
Love all of your super helpful videos and ideas….Thank you ! 🤗🤗
I enjoy your videos and your sense of humor. Thank you very much, and great job with all you do.
When I first got interested in gel printing, I discovered your website and UA-cam channel. I always say- Carolyn taught me everything I know about gel printing!!❤🌈😁
These look beautiful Carolyn, I love the idea!
Sure wish you had a little enthusiasm! LOL! What a great video! Gotta get a gel plate so I can play like you! Beautiful! TYFS
Love your ideas, Carolyn. I would like to see how you use your gel prints.
You've got a great idea here!
always such beautiful colors!
Wow!!! Such a cool idea!!
love it!!! 😃👍
Great videos and thank you for being so clear and such a good teacher. I was wondering what your favourite brayer width is? I plan to do a lot of fabric printing with the Gelli plate and am stuck trying to decide between a 4" or a 6". Thanks again for all that you do.

Carolyn I have been having a horrible time with the paper sticking to the gel plate - have you ever had that happen?
I was having the same problem with so much paper sticking to my gel plate. I watched some tutorials on cleaning and conditioning my plate, which I followed and that has taken care of about 99.9% of the issue. Can’t remember which videos I watched, but I think Karen Burchill was one of them. I’ve watched a lot of Ceri the crafter, and he keeps his plates cleaned and conditioned and doesn’t seem to have paper stick to his plates.
