It's one of those things you just gotta suspend your disbelief. We know they can walk and climb on things, so we just don't think about it because the logic is already gone at that point. Just gotta turn your brain off and not think about it. There's a LOT of stuff in comics that make no sense
Can I just say These "Cannon Moments" I think Miguel is responsible for them..He's convinced himself that tragedy makes Spider People so he intervenes so they can happen..If Miles hadn't saved that Captain he would have only died because of Miguel's orders to Gwen..It wasn't meant to be if it's preventable. I bet if we go back in time and look at the other's Cannon Moment..Miguel was there or had someone there to allow them to happen.
Dude, didn't you see Miguel's origin? At first, he didn't believe that tragedy is necessary for all Spider People. He found a world where he has a family, but that version of Miguel later died, so he decided to go to that world and fill the shoes of his doppleganger. But turns out, his doppleganger's death is a canon event. Him being there to fill his doppleganger shoes caused an Incursion. That is Miguel's motivation. He is doing this to stop the destruction of more worlds. In his mindset, it's one life versus the entire universe, it's not personal
Trust me, Miguel very much dislike tragedies, but if it stops Incursions, he'd do it. His family from another world died because of it. He made it his mission to stop Incursions
I would assume it's because he switched roles with himself. So maybe that somehow balances things out. The canon event is that Miles is bit. A Miles was bit.
Canon events happen ...unless the police captain quits. Hated that. Also Captain Stacey tried to be a good cop when he tried to arrest Spider Gwen. No favoritism.
Canon events are my biggest issue with the series. It’s as egregious as She-Hulk introducing the idea of Kevin into the MCU, except this canon event is being applied to every medium of Spider-Man. Saying that a spiderperson needs to have a tragedy or else the world will implode is a slap to the face of the character and the legacy. Being Spider-Man isn’t supposed to be destiny. That just takes away the free agency of the individual spiderpeople. What happened to “anyone can wear the mask?” Now we’re being told only a specific individual can be Spider-Man? One of the biggest appeal of Spider-Man is that he’s an Everyman character who’s situation could happen to anyone. I take big issue with there now being a crossmedia plot point that Spider-Man is now a chosen one
Honestly it low key might feel like something to drive the plot into the next movie, cause if you think about it the spider man game is coming and there's 2 spidermen. I think the whole point of the story line is for Miles to prove Miguel wrong. Just my point of view tho, cause just like in the movie we agree with Miles with his "Doing my own thing" line.
@@NYCV To avoid an Incursion, Jefferson has to step down from being captain by his own* choice. That's how Gwen's dad avoided it. Incursions happen if someone from another world intervenes, however, it's George Stacy's own choice to step down, and it turns out fine
Yeah I feel like this issue will be solved in the next movie. Miles, monologueing in a battle with Miguel: "spiderman is a choice, canon event is a self-fulfilling prophecy"
You’re reading way too deep into it bucko. It’s only one Spider-Man per universe, but not every Spider-Man from every universe is the same person. Ie, literally anybody, or any THING (spider-pig, spider-cat), can be Spider-Man.
Technically Miles fathers’ death is not a canon event because Miles (Earth 1610) was never meant to be the Spider-Man of his universe. So he’s not the rule but the exception on how he can twist his fate.
Theory Gwen will sadly pass in the next film. She stated every Gwen that finds her Peter Parker “Spider-Man” ends ups…you know. She is now a “captain” of her own squad.
I Actually think the shoes are just fabric that covers their feet kind of like a big giant onesie that you would wear bedtime and because the bottoms aren't really too big technically the same thing with the hands you know you got those little weird Harry looking hope things goes around the feet too idk just thinking about it
The last theory about Jefferson dies in every reality no matter Which role miles has in that universe ,,hero , villain , the normal guy ) its sound very weird maybe just for me
No one ever catches this mistake: Miles is half Black (dad) and half Puerto Rican (mom). Why is his last name a hispanic one? Not that it in any way hindered why I enjoyed this movie immensely. Just saying
His dad is Hispanic/Latino, hence his police badge, Lieutenant Morales, soon to be Captain Morales. Also, Latinos/Hispanics are a variety of shades of black, brown and white tones.
@@gispi918there’s also Afro-Latinos, folk who share dual ethnic heritage, because, you know, the “boats.” Shoot, the only reason half of South America is so dark is because the Spanish kept shipping chocolate cargo.
I never understand how spiderpeople can walk on walls with their *shoes*
😂 they spider man bro

how can miles have canon events if he is the original anomaly
I had the same question
Exactly and also why did prowlers Miles’s dad die? He was never bitten so his origin story could’ve never existed. Anyone got any explanation?
EXACTLY. 💯☝🏾 You get it.

Here’s the thing: I think Miles *IS* supposed to be a Spider-Man in the grand scheme of things.

They promised us Japanese Spider-Man but he's not in there and we're just gonna let it slide??
On another video I saw he was in the movie but they just had him in the background
Confusing? Either u guys don't pay attention to the movie or u gotta retake an English course. It was easy to follow.
They gotta come out with videos somehow lmao
Lmaooo it really is simple
I was on shrooms tbf
There’s always that one. 😑 Bet you knew Bruce Willis was a ghost all along, too…
So not going to address shoes? Just walking on walls
It’s superhero logic don’t try to think on it cuz they are heroes with powers and can use those abilities through clothes
Will any of these questions will be answered? We shall see next year
Ngl almost everything was confusing

This movie is the epitome of diversity done right. Nothing forced, just real characters being natural heroes. Loved Miles!

Because in the comics Miles father worked with SHIELD and to keep his identity safe he took his wife's last name and his changed.
