Thanks for your info. I’m a nurse who has sjogrens. My rheumatologist says it’s most likely secondary, but has never diagnosed me with a primary AID. 😂 I was diagnosed at 25 I’m 36 now) kept having rashes and fatigue. I have a positive ANA and Positive SS-B LA antibody greater than 8. I started having a lot of problems with my eyes 2 years ago bc is dryness (corneal ulcers) and my eye doctor insisted I be put on plaquenil. I still have a lot of skin issues, eye/mouth dryness, joint pain all over, and fatigue. I also had Mono and Bells Palsy as a child. I look forward to watching more of your videos and maybe figuring out what the heck is wrong with me. Lol

Medicosis Perfectionalis, thanks I do fairly well as long as I eat right and exercise. If I don’t exercise I get more fatigued (crazy how that works).
@@sherilynnowens7394 I am going through exactly the same thing, positive ANA and SSB, but negative everything else. I saw a rheumatologist for the first time a couple weeks ago and he says because I don't have SSA, I don't have any disease. I have all the symptoms of Sjogren's and Lupus, including the butterfly rash and yet my doctor says I don't have Sjogren's or Lupus. I think it's time to find a different doctor.

And what do you think about the fluctuation levels of ssb during one month ( from 6 to 37 ) even through taking hydroxychloroquine

I love your videos! They are so helpful. I have a question though. If a person has all the symptoms of sjogrens and lupus, get's tested and the bloodwork shows positive for ANA and SSB, but negative for everything else, and the doctor says "you don't have SSA, so that means you don't have sjogren's because without the SSA, it doesn't indicate Sjogren's." Does this mean the doctor is stupid and doesn't know what he's talking about and needs to watch your videos?
i’m curious to know the answer as well. i have a negative ANA and SSA, but a very very high SSB and textbook sjorgens symptoms. when my doctor gets back to me i’ll let you know if she diagnoses me so hopefully it can help you

@@puddincakes1005 they came back to me and essentially said that i was fine and didn’t have it :( it’s so frustrating because i can’t even wear contacts anymore my eyes are so dry
@@ricebowlasmr Aaah no!!! Are there more tests you can do?? Ugh this is so lame, because I swear the criteria used to say you could have it with isolated SSB, and the new criteria changed that to not be true…so my question was why did it used to be true?? Can’t they just say a small percentage of people can still have it with isolated SSB? I hope you can figure something out! I don’t think I would ever be able to stop trying to figure it out. It’s going to drive me crazy until the day I die.
@@puddincakes1005 i feel it!! i think i’m going to try to get a second opinion soon because my symptoms are driving me absolutely crazy. they told me that i had fibromyalgia, but i’m not ready to accept that diagnosis because of the positive SSB. i honestly think that the doctors are wrong here. i personally think you can have isolated SSB but apparently they don’t know that :(

Non medical background here. Just got news that my SS B is at 1.8 when it should be below one. Is it possible for this to be elevated without actually having an autoimmune disease? (I will be following up with a rheumatologist, just trying to find some info in the meantime)
