- A few random clips I've gotten so far of my GTI TCR MUFFLER with a DOWNPIPE (Ultimate Racing w/ 200 cell metal cat and extra resonator).
These clips aren't perfect and I do hope to make another video of the car with the muffler and downpipe soon, however wanted to post these up as I couldn't find any exhaust videos with a downpipe and TCR muffler when I first searched! I'm on winter tires and have been getting a bit of clutch slip... so I didn't have full confidence to get some great clips of the exhaust, but hopefully these will give some people an idea of how the car will sound with a TCR muffler and downpipe in a few different scenarios. More clips WILL come so stay tuned into the channel.

Thankyou for posting this! I have a Clubsport muffler and have been looking everywhere for this exact setup. Sounds great, do you still have the factory resonator in place?
I do have the factory resonator. I will say it is a lot louder in person than on video- wot in the upper revs you really feel it in your ears. My clutch is arriving on Monday and hoping to get my winter tires off as soon as today, which should mean I will get a few good videos of this before I put the stock muffler on.
@@NoN_228 I'm torn on it. Right now I'm really over budget with this car, and it's 99% where I want it to be. With that said the tcr side skirts are disproportionately expensive and in my opinion I'm not really convinced on the looks. I don't like that they cover the paint so much and I do think that they'd become detached during the winter. But I also don't like having the textured plastic side skirts left... if I find a deal on them I'd probably go for it but as they're priced I'm unconvinced and probably won't buy them in the short term.
I think with vibrant style resonator from previous video or with stock resonator?
I never had a vibrant resonator but here i have the included ultimate racing resonator AND stock resonator.
Just recently I put tcr mufffler on my gti . It sounds amazing . Really thinking about downpipe now is it neccessery. Everything depends how noise people like to have his car.For daily car this is more then enought ❤
Downpipe is necessary for power. The tcr is great if you just care about sound. Both together were too much for me to handle

@@naturalfor It’s not a TCR! It’s a base golf GTI. I got all the OEM parts and installed them myself. I love nardo gray too- if it was a choice when I bought I surely would have gone nardo/urano gray.
