we was talking bout him the other day. people dont believe that my man really had a tiger in the crib. Im just tryna figure out how nobody heard the tiger roar. u know them project walls thin.
Yo, I just ran up on this. I was a NYPD Housing Cop class of 1981 assigned to PSA 6 when it was in Drew Hamilton Houses. This is when Harlem was straight gully. Yo, I watched 145st get taken over by the Spangler Jamaican posse. Now I'm watching white people skip down Edgecombe like everything is gravy. Harlem is in my blood no matter where I live. I was born in Manhattanville Projects. Raised in The Bronx. My parents were born and raised in Harlem. Hell, my father was Mr. Harlem Y (bodybuilding) 1960. HARLEM STAND UP!
In 1980 coming from queens I would walk from 110th to to 155th just breathing the air and witness life of my people in every direction...my uncle still has 2 brownstones that have been in my family since the 1940s..
Homie spit facts...80’s & 90’s (golden years) aloooooot of money was made but no one reinvested in the neighborhood...we behind 40 years 💯💯💯 learn from our mistakes
That's my old area. But I'm from St. Albans. Would take the bus through to the 169 or Parsons subway. Now buses go to Archer where the E and L are. Jamaica Av is big shopping center.
I’m from Chicago and my mom moved to Canarsie when I was 15. Biggest difference in the two cities is that people from NY focused on the come up and that bread, I can’t say the same for the people in the Chi.
Born and raised in Drew. I remember St Nick projects was definitely the oops back in the late 90s. Glad I left the hood I can’t even imagine living there currently. Shout out to Drew, shout out to 8th…
In the 80s and 90s, Harlem used to be DOPE...all of NY was.... used to be so many people outside all day and night 🌙 never a dull moment there. Most African Americans and Puerto Ricans moved south, the swag left with them !!
What I've noticed watching HoodVlog is all the OGs and older dudes never act tough or glamorise violence. Shows why it's so important for the young dudes to have fathers.
I'm from Oakland and stayed on 7th and 126 right across from saint nicks and around the corner from the Apollo. Walked all the way up 7th to the Rucker and over the bridge to the Bronx, checked out Yankee stadium and then came back down 8th to 126.... Walked from Spanish Harlem late night back to my spot, passed Manhattan PJs and all the rest... NYC ain't nearly as dangerous as it was.

If you never been to Manhattan. You’re missing out on life. You can feel the energy.
The brother in the Dior cap did well, seems cool, intelligent, respectful and responsible. Kudos 2u young man. 🙌
I WISH THEY COULD'VE SEEN THE POLO GROUNDS IN THE DAYTIME ..LOOKING ALL PEACEFUL AND HOW IT TRANSFORMS AT NIGHT INTO....A HUSTLE ZONE...REAL TALK...
big facts. that whole strip. The crazy thing is polo grounds really is a nice spot but when u have so many ppl crammed into one neighborhood, crime is guaranteed and hustling is a survival tactic.

These NY vlogs solid. Sick of LA need more from these hoods.
Well said Karen.
He needs to explore other hoods in Cali I say he should pop out in Stockton
You're from Texas that says a lot about why you sick of LA lol
@@bella._.7354 Nah Bay Area Y’all gang bang in Stockton shot is trash
Keep them in the family
Damn I remember seeing this channel when hood Russian would roll around his skateboard around my area. It's a trip how much this channel has grown.

Worked 3 years in Harlem as a teacher and outsider... community was awesome and welcoming.
Would LOVE to see Jamaica Queens. Especially colosseum, gertz plaza, sutphin blvd.
Nothing changed in Queens
Lets talk about it....salute
That's my old area. But I'm from St. Albans. Would take the bus through to the 169 or Parsons subway. Now buses go to Archer where the E and L are. Jamaica Av is big shopping center.
Don’t forget about Margaritas
I used to by my fitteds at the Colosseum. And they had so many good sneaker stores

The NYC vlogs are my favorite! Always good vibes
I’m from Chicago and my mom moved to Canarsie when I was 15. Biggest difference in the two cities is that people from NY focused on the come up and that bread, I can’t say the same for the people in the Chi.
Ppl in the Chi seem more ignorant tbh. Not all of course but man chicago got serious issues
I feel you, I can’t say the same for Memphis.
Born and raised in Drew. I remember St Nick projects was definitely the oops back in the late 90s. Glad I left the hood I can’t even imagine living there currently. Shout out to Drew, shout out to 8th…
Nice vid but you gotta do one on the “Barrio”(Spanish Harlem) and the west side(Broadway& Amsterdam) too 💯

@@jahminastephens8026 great to see Harlem in general getting the love it deserves, no matter what side 💯❤️🙏🏽
In the 80s and 90s, Harlem used to be DOPE...all of NY was.... used to be so many people outside all day and night 🌙 never a dull moment there. Most African Americans and Puerto Ricans moved south, the swag left with them !!
My man June Cancun!! Harlem's number one mixtape pusher!!!
What I've noticed watching HoodVlog is all the OGs and older dudes never act tough or glamorise violence. Shows why it's so important for the young dudes to have fathers.
Harlem is one of the most famous spots in NY and I love it 💯
Respect this hood harlem never heard of Harlem before i sure enjoy seeing my black kings and queens living up
I'm from Oakland and stayed on 7th and 126 right across from saint nicks and around the corner from the Apollo.
I'm glad that you didn't have to experience anything violent boss....some days are better than others I see...stay blessed
@@videosurfah you must be from NY lol
