There are some amazing pet reptiles out there, and there are also some reptiles that people WANT to have as pets but will NEVER happen! Today I go over some of those reptiles that may be on your dream reptile list and why you should give up on that dream now. Some are big reptiles, rare reptiles, or strange reptiles; many reasons why these won't be coming to the pet trade!

Recognized the dragons from Clyde Peeling's, when I lived in Pennsylvania I did a bunch of videos with Jeff Cook and a few with Clyde himself. I miss that place!

Also I don’t know if it counts, but in one of the local turtle hospitals in Florida at one point they had baby leatherback sea turtles, of course they where released shortly after their rescue if your wondering.
Yeah I've heard of successful rehab for baby ones but none living in captivity!

Technically speaking ploughshares are in the pet trade. Although mostly in countries which lack proper laws. If you type in yniphora on Instagram you will see the people who own them. Mostly wealthy people from china and Hong Kong. I would bet there is more people who own them who are just quite about keeping them. I would imagine there is quite a bit corruption going on in China as they are not afraid to post about it. It is sad but true.
