Why does he remind you of that? Never quit, kept throwing, has been a fighter his whole career, won nationals in the amateurs. Regardless of his skill or if he won, he is a fighter who's aware of what the sport is
Gavin Gwynne was absolutely robbed there is no questioning that. However for a young man in his 7th pro fight I thought Vuong showed great spirit despite being physically outmatched and outgunned. He fought to the end with great spirit, that shouldn't get lost in the rightful criticism of the judging.
Vuong is also a massive ticket seller from the north east, i remember when lewis ritson won his british title, and he started selling out 7000 plus at a arena in newcastle overnight. It's greed from matchroom wanting a new headliner.
Catterall and Moore with flashbacks to their first fight with Taylor. Now that the shoe is on the other foot the media should be asking them how they thought the fight went and we'll see how different their response is to Taylor and Taylor's team.
Vuong is 22 not 19. It's a double-edged sword. It's truly feast or famine. As a consumer, I would rather watch Vuong vs. Gwynne now at 7-0 versus waiting until he's 20-0. Most fighters get over-seasoned and marinated too long. They simmer in the crock pot for years. Managers and promoters look to protect the "0" and build up a fighter as the next this-or-that. Then these guys always find convenient opponents when there are more competitive fights. I'm American and will use Jared Anderson as example. He was 17-0 and 24 years old when he fought and got beat down by Martin Bakole. And the consensus from promoters is that he should have never taken that fight. Well when is he going to step up then? You can always find another tomato can.
Understand the point of view. Should also mention about the punch stats Gwyne threw 410 more punches than Vuong - yet Vuong landed 8 more punches throughout the fight. Vuong may have learned more in this fight than he would in the 10 canned fights Curtis proposes.
He reminds me of a fighter who likes idea of being a fighter not the harsh reality of the sport
Another Thomas stalker

@@alexbelotti5964 i think it's the inside game which he didn't seem prepared for but he definitely has talent

I agree, trying to force stars instead of letting them develop naturally

Depends what you want, quick cash or a sustainable career

Who said canned fights? Learning fights I suggest. Last night we learned nothing positive apart from he’s gutsy
Hes 22 😂
i had a tenner on vong to get beat ....gutted
Brits don't do seasoning.
I had the most bland meals growing up
You can tell hes still a kid saying mummys boy all time
this fight got me so mad, i posted in round five that it would be interesting to see how they go about robbing gwynne. i hate corruption.
Cameron should never of been in there with a former british and commenwealth champion in his 7th fight mad matchmaking
Correct
Cameron Vuong went up a level to early needs more developing fights. That fight will make him so much better as a fighter against a good opponent
