Listen to an experienced pilot as he gives good advice. You detached yourself from the formation. In 303 Polish squadron only one pilot had a special dispensation and he was able to leave the formation right after the attack, it was Josef František. He was a loner and liked hunting damaged planes by the canal.
I can't decide what's getting worse, my eyesight or TAFF's gunnery 🤪 should have bagged at least 3 Stukas at the very least. Nice series TAFF keep it going 👍
You play a rookie pilot very well, jerking the stick as you hit the firing button. Steady, steady.....now gently squeeze. And the commander was right...stay near the rest of the chaps. And watch your 6!!!
I like the new story telling. Keep it deep and interesting. It will give viewers the reason to stay on the video to see how it played out. If I may suggest, maybe commentate as the character. It would take some acting but if it worked, it would bring continuity to the whole story.
I wonder how philosophical those pilots at the beginning would be if it were Japanese pilots being ripped apart. Unfortunately, the war in the Pacific had a much darker, more racialized tone, from the Allied perspective.
The shooting was to my eyes, pretty dreadful. No leading the prey, No deflection and shooting starts at ranges wayyyy too excessive and, opportunites to strafe a whole line of stukas simply ignored right at the start. That ship would still be intact if the job was done properly. Thats what I wouldve been saying had I been flight leader . Saying all that. great fun to watch. I could do better though . Lastly, the man with altitude dictates the fight. No attempts made to climb above lumbering stukas. As the film said . should be like shooting rats in a barrel.
Perhaps next time use the "comfy chair" and the "soft cushion". It would likely yield better results than the dodgy gunnery on this run. Honestly, I think overshooting your targets, and the visible twitch when you pull the trigger are a real problem.
12:38 - "Disoriented..." I worked for Hilton Hotels when I was much younger. I once had someone tell me they wanted to "reservate" a room. The only time the extra "at" is proper is when it's immediately followed by "ion." And, the description says first sortie, but you refer to the earlier one, at the start. Did you just forget to change the description for this video?
@@Dafmeister1978 : RAF doctrine before the Battle of Britain was to harmonise the guns at 250 yards. The idea was to aim carefully, and shoot the bomber from directly behind from far enough away that the rear gunner couldn't get many hits on you in return - since aiming accurately from a gunner position on a bomber was thought to be a lot harder than aiming through a reflector gunsight in a fighter. Of course, that doctrine didn't take account of the presence of enemy escort fighters. France wasn't supposed to fall into German hands, and German fighters weren't expected to have enough range to operate over the UK. The bombers were supposed to be unescorted.
Definitely made it look like it was your second next time you have a row stukas flying by you you should maybe Unleashed them around I think he would have got a lot of hits
Nicely done video, some very neatv 'art' detailing, odd way to show RAF tactics though. Mostly to see a Stuka was to hit and probably down it ! One exception though, my parents generation, the World War 2 generation often said and meant what they said, "the only good German is a dead German". Today this phrase is not politically correct, not understood. That British generation were well aware of the atrocities committed by Germans and not only by the SS & Gestapo. Today numerous excuses are made on behalf of those Germans. The fact is and supported by news reels of film, while they thought they were winning the vast bulk of the German population supported the NAZI war and its aims including it's butchery.
Good show old chap. Need to practice those gunnery skills but I can guarantee in "real life" your gunnery skills would be much worse and you hit shots would do more damage. Still good fun though!
Bugger me! If there were more pilots like Taff in the RAF in 1940 we’d all be speaking German. My old Gran could shoot better! I wouldn’t go to any dockside pubs frequented by the Merchant Navy in your uniform mate.
the hell was in that tractor!?! best be putting that engine in your hurricane
The drifting tractor was great. Gotta go fast.
"M-hm-hm-hm~ mhm? Are these people... are they filming an airfield? Gotta be cool!" *wrrrooom*
Gas Gas Gas Gotta Go Fast :D
Haha he was driving slow and all of a sudden started cruising lmao
That opening bit bought to mind Lord Wellington.
"There is nothing so terrible as a battle lost, except a battle won."
Anyone else get a "Cars" vibe with the self driving tractor @ 1:45?

Your eyes are fine, but his gunnery seems to get worse with each episode.
Love the story telling aspect you have added.

Really enjoying these short story driven type videos, keep up the great work. But that tractor in the beginning 😂
Thanks fort his Taff, I really enjoyed this, the human touch.🙂
Excellent video, really great to watch👍, but it would seem like Tony the tractor is having second thoughts about the war himself! 😲🚜
"Oh, we were supposed to keep them from destroying the ship?"

That tractor though. Driverless and fast as can be.
I love the effort you're putting in this. And the
Need for speed 1940 tractor.
Just watching your Hurricane taking off was a beautiful thing to behold!
I wonder how philosophical those pilots at the beginning would be if it were Japanese pilots being ripped apart. Unfortunately, the war in the Pacific had a much darker, more racialized tone, from the Allied perspective.
gret storyline and flying, loved it.
The unsung hero of The Battle of Britain Great vid Taff. 🙂👍
Loving the series

That tractor at 1:57 😂😂😂😂
You should do a playlist on these episodes I like them
the hurricane is amazing
Another great episode on this, keep it up 👍
EXCELLENT!!
More!!! Great Content Taff....
I am not sure what I like more the gameplay or they stories at the beginning.
If Taff should ever consider taking a break from making videos (which would leave us all devastated 😱) he sure could narrate audiobooks 😁👍.

I presume you are an American still learning to speak English? Stick to Taff's tail and you'll be fine.
Last time Taff was flying a motor Torpedo boat...now he is a double Decker Bus Driver.....got to pay for all those crashed planes somehow XD
from the vehicules this is the land of Thomas the engine..... no drivers no where
Hey, look a tractor with no driver rolling on by...lol
Those 8 x 30 cals seem totally useless, at close range they should chew up targets.
I think the problem is that Taff has them harmonised too far out, if he's getting that close they need to be converging at less than 100 yards.

Nice work old chap.
the fuel bowsers in the beginning could use a little something extra...
merchant seamen are ticked at you I bet
you hesitate for the recticle... and short bursts are for long range at close just let em have it.
Definitely made it look like it was your second next time you have a row stukas flying by you you should maybe Unleashed them around I think he would have got a lot of hits
Nice little bit of voice-over work there! Not as good as that landing, mind you, a big improvement!
Why was you so late to fire when you had those stukas in line at the beginning ?
Are those stories from a book? what's the name of the book?
Were you attacking those Stukas or escorting them?
do you use track ir or anything similar?
That tractor...
Hi now i will buy this game and i need to ask u about this game Can I not use joystick to play?
Need to work on those angles of attack and throttle control. You should have been chewing through those stukas.
What A mess about getting flight stick to work, sign off and back in and it needs all doing again, pain in the ass.
This sim needs people walking about and on tractors !

Why not many people playing this? Very little fandom
How much ammo can an AI waste?
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that was a fail lol
give me VR and instant buy!
Flying too fast in your attacks
I think your Mouse sensitivity is set too high..that is why you never seem to be able to hold on target. and why you have to get Point Blank..??
he soesnt use a mouse for flying
Barn 🚪 and 🪕
sorry, but that was dreadful shooting in 1st half…

Maybe you should stick to telling the story instead of playing the game.
That is some awful flying and worse gunnery
Pretty terrible flying
