EPIC!!!!!!!! I remember watching this video when I was like 7, also the flushometer sounds like a cow mooing and a gate creaking, and this may be NYC since old apartments there typically have flushometer toilets.
Not true, this is in Saint Louis. There is an apartment tour of this on commodes other channel. All old apartments in big cities have these kind of toilets no matter where you are.
Then there's the Pittsburgh Potty! I just recently heard about this. Many homes in Pittsburgh and the Northeast built before WWII, locals point out, had a fully functioning toilet in the basement, right out in the open, no walls! 🤔
I have a 1961 Gerber Reverse Trap toilet like this one in the video. It is in my basement. It is getting ready to be replace with a Gerber Ultra Flush Toilet next week.
That is a seriously epic toilet! Yes the noise that the flush valve makes is pretty funny, although it's got some serious power behind it for that toilet. Absolutely amazing bathroom of course!
Nice bathroom! Also the toilet I believe is a 1930s or so Gerber Jefferson on flushometer, could be wrong. Also the other vintage fixtures there are amazing. The sound at the end of the flush that sounded like a moo and a gate opening. Lol
@This is a toilet channel. I've never been in an apartment with flushometer operated toilets. Apartments and homes with these must be rare. I have been in hotel rooms with flushometer toilets. And I've seen hospital rooms with tank toilets.
James Berman I have never seen in a cast iron radiator ran hot water. Only steam heating. But in the video it is. That was weird! (my experience in the home remodeling less than 20 years ...) :-)

@@CrestwoodRocksOk then.
That flushometer sounds possessed by demons judging by the noise it makes after flushing LMAO

i love that monster sounding flush and its in a apartment, got to love them old apartments in NYC
Same.
Okay… but that’s not in NYC though. If you saw what date this was uploaded, this was during one of Dieselducy’s road trips.

Sounded like a loud fart to me. 😂
it kinda flushes like a vintage glacier toilet on a flushometer
Mine is a American Standard same look and the front mine has the tank....
Mine is also American standard
That’s a Gerber Jefferson on Flushometer!
That bathroom is nasty. I do like the vintage look.
It is not nasty
Not everyday you see a commercial flushometer being used in a residential neighborhood, is this all original to the house?
San Francisco
This toilet sounds like a chainsaw when you flush it
Is this in NYC? Because I hear that's where most apartments that have forward trap toilets on FV are.
Ay imagine if you & Flushometer_19 met each other in person
Biutyfull!!!
Nanti pas udh berak di tarik tuh, kita ketarik gak kedalam airnya karna gede banget muter tornado nya anjir :v
Gerber Arlington or Gerber Jefferson or Gerber PaulRevere

How old is this toilet?
1940's - 1960s.
I bet it's New York or Brooklyn. Typical of all the old buildings of the city.
Dmitriy Guzheyedov Most buildings in Manhattan have toilets with tanks. This is more like The Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens.
James Berman Judging of what i can see. It's very old house or building. And you are right, this is unlikely Manhattan.
It's The Bronx or Brooklyn and I'm not ruling out Queens either, especially around Jamaica or Jackson Heights.
James Berman I have never seen in a cast iron radiator ran hot water. Only steam heating. But in the video it is. That was weird! (my experience in the home remodeling less than 20 years ...) :-)
Dmitriy Guzheyedov Wrong and wrong it is in St.Louis,Richmond Heights to be exact.
Gerber makes foward traps today!
Yes I seen that in the Gerber catalog
No they don't not now
Is it raining in the video just wondering but the toilet is ok
The vacuum breaker on that flushometer sounds ruined.
sounds like a fart and a cow, the whole flushometer should be replaced for preventative maintenance
Flex tape
Most flushometers just make a clunk sound when they stop.
Yeah it can use a new Sloan kit
What makes this bathroom rare is the toilet on a flushometor in a apartment.
It sounds like a cow 🐄 mooing and a wooden fence gate hinge opening/closing.
This kind of toilet I remember well only Difference mine does not have the pipe out of the back.... I like this toilet better than today's toilets
