I love your podcasts as they are so real and grounding. With your partner cooking in the background was great as it feels like we are visiting and life goes on. Love the pink you are wearing as it suits your complexion. 🥰💙🌻🦋🐞🐝😊
Love that cardigan so much Martina, the color, the detail, the fact that you made it YOURS. Love the knitalong idea! yay! I am also focusing only on stash big hug 🌷💚
I had to double check what I was watching at the beginning… you look like Wednesday Addams!!! And I’m totally here for it! 😊 another great podcast, I love all your beautiful works!!
Thee 52 weeks of knitting is such a good book!!! Glad to see you ae going to keep working on thee olive green cardi!!!! Also I oddly enjoyed the cooking noise in the back!
Hi again lol ! So funny , I am knitting the marled pants from scrappy yarn ( Stephen West) held with a strand of black yarn while listening to you now … this is the second time I make them and I absolutely love them! They are so comfy at the camping ⛺️in The summer and so many compliments lol actually many people stop me and wants to buy them from me lol
Hi and greetings from Finland! So lovely video again 🥰 It was heartwarming to see you use and talk about Novita and Laine publishing. Nice to hear you like Linen love yarn. Haven't used it yet but I'm dreaming about it 😄 Loving your knit-a-along idea and I'm sure I will knit from my stash and participate! 😍
Hello Martina, I love the color of your purple cardigan you are wearing. I am finishing up my last two winter cardigans, then it's on to spring. I would like to try making a ripple bralette in a #2 cotton bamboo, making it long with just a little sleeve in it . Take care❤😊
There's actually a pattern by Jessie Maed which is a ripple top with short sleeves🤎 it's called "Ripple Crop Top Worsted". I love it, I might transform my ripple bralette into that 🤎
mikke 😂 just starting to cook out of nowhere! hopefully it wasn't too distracting for you, but i liked the immersion of seeing that other people's lives are just lives too, so please don't worry about that aspect of it ❤ incidentally i was very lucky to get a small quantity of cotton yarn at a very good price two weeks ago, and another one today! together it should be enough for a long top or t-shirt so i totally feel your urge to make something summery 🌻 also i think i never knitted with pure cotton before and i absolutely LOVE how smooth and soft it feels ✨ and i have been thinking about trying to dye some yarn and clothes lately (with kitchen scraps preferably), inspired by my need for frugality - which sometimes really helps me to get creative, so i'm also quite hyped for the stashbusting mal 😍 maybe dyeing would be a hack for that too, if the colours one has (left) just won't go together well...? and the book looks very interesting too, for the same reason: buying individual patterns feels too risky right now, since i've only come back to knitting a few months ago (VERY my much thanks to you ❤) and i'm not sure yet if it's a long term thing or just leading to something else. so books feel like a nice bargain instead and i'll seriously consider getting one you recommend.
Dyeing yarns you have in your stash is such a great idea, I want to do that too, I have some gray yarns that I'd love to dye and transform into more woody colors🤎 yeah, I think a book is always a good idea, this one is specifically designed for beginners so I truly love it. If you plan to get it, check it on Ravelry so you can see all the patterns that are inside and decide if you like them. And I feel so honored that you picked up on knitting because of my videos 🙏🏼🤎
@@wegrowild i'm glad you like the idea 🤗 and thanks for the tip about the book! i think this might actually be a good time to join ravelry for me anyways, being a few months into the journey it's much more likely that i will actually use it regularly 👍
A knit from stash is what I'd decided to do this year. The one exception I have planned is a wool/cashmere blend in a sweater's quantity worth once I've saved up enough to get it. I want that yarn so badly.
Hi Martina. I’m so happy to spend time with you again. I’m currently finishing up a cardigan for my daughter. I also have a cardigan on the needles for myself and working on some summer tops. I live in the desert in Southern California so we have very few cooler days. Cardigans and summer tops work best so I can layer and remove layers as needed. See you again soon my friend. ❤
Ahh lovely Martina! I don't quite remember if I have commented as of yet on your videos, but I just love them all so much! I always look forward to seeing a new one pop up in my notifications to knit along with, no matter the content.🧡 I also have the touch of linen yarn in the same color! I have no idea what to do with it yet but a ripple bralette is looking promising! 😂 Sending much love from frosty Rhode Island, the tiniest of all the United States ❄️⚓️🌊 😘
Hi Martina! This is the first video of yours that I’m coming across. I totally love your vibe and am quite fascinated by your lifestyle from the little bits that you shared about it. Looking forward to watching more from you!
Always a pleasure to listen to your video. I live in Verona and the weather is definitely getting warmer so I was very interested in knitting one of those bralettes. Currently finishing the Saglan sweater by Ailbiona McLochlainn. Thank you Martina.
Lovely podcast as always! I knitted two t-shirts last summer with linen love, both shrank alot, especially lengthwise. I used needle 6 and 7 mm so with a big gage but don't trust the gauge swatch. Have a lovely week!
Thank you 🙏 again for this wonderful video, you make me want not to buy wool and use what I have. The two shawls you made is wonderful but by favorite one is your white one you also were a lot , the size and the wool used is wonderful, I believe you made up the pattern ❤ ?
Ciao Martina, found your podcast. Love your flower garden knitting sweater. Your climate is similar to South Australia. We travelled around Italy for 5 weeks on a Harley motorbike in 2019. Love Italy. Which area do you live in? And do you spin?
Welcome here🤍 I live in the center of Italy on the mountains🤎 I want to learn to spin better, I tried some time ago and then decided to focus on other projects and once settled I will teach myself to do so🤎
Well, it depends..most of the time I cannot afford really expensive yarns so yes, I have to have an overall budget, but I like to buy yarns when there is a special occasion and only after I decide what to knit with those yarns🍀🤍
Wonderful episode! Question about the KAL: I don’t have much stash yarn because I typically buy yarn for specific projects plus I am a new knitter. I have a friend who is gifting me her stash because she no longer is able to knit. Would these yarns work? Thanks!
Hi Martina ! Hope you are well! What is your gauge for the billet doux shawl ? Cause I have some nutiden and would knit it in single strand with mohair but would like your same length to wear as you like around your shoulders and tied at the waist ..would it be the right yarn ?
I don't remember my gauge but I think it was a bit bigger than the recommended one so nutiden and silk mohair would make the right gauge for the pattern. Maybe you can hold nutiden double, then you'll make it bigger for sure. I used needle size 4.5 mm (bigger than the designer's).🤎hope hat's helpful 🤎

That "Choose our own garden" looks exactly like the Birkin by Caitlin Hunter. She is not going to like that.
Not really actually. If you will see the finished garment is VERY different form that pattern
