As a professional artist who has experience in vfx, commercial film and tv editing, animation and also someone who does this kind of thing professionally; I must say I'm impressed. Your videos have this very distinct identity as if imprinted by an artist's soul. I am also impressed by non art majors who study photography intently. You are a DOP, or at least you have the discipline of one. I particularly love the no camera motion approach. I love that it's a deliberate choice. I'm also surprised you're able to color match very well shots with that sony and your iphone XD.
I’m glad to see you say it takes 6-8 hours to edit a video, because I’m finding the same & it flabbergasts me that it takes so long. I don’t know about you but I find my ability to film content far exceeds my ability to edit it lol. 😂

When I wanted to start making silent vlogs, your channel was literally the first that Google suggested to me. Your first video I watched was when you were still in your former apartment. After watching one of your 5AM Diaries, I decided to start my own silent vlogs. I’ve literally learned how to film in different angles and POV to make it seamless and aesthetically pleasing. I started making silent vlogs in April 2024. I am hoping to get a wider reach. I enjoy making these kind of vlogs because it is so easy to edit since there isn’t much physical talking involved. As a professional artist who has experience in vfx, commercial film and tv editing, animation and also someone who does this kind of thing professionally; I must say I'm impressed. Your videos have this very distinct identity as if imprinted by an artist's soul. I am also impressed by non art majors who study photography intently. You are a DOP, or at least you have the discipline of one. I particularly love the no camera motion approach. I love that it's a deliberate choice. I'm also surprised you're able to color match very well shots with that sony and your iphone XD.

When I wanted to start making silent vlogs, your channel was literally the first that Google suggested to me. Your first video I watched was when you were still in your former apartment. After watching one of your 5AM Diaries, I decided to start my own silent vlogs. I’ve literally learned how to film in different angles and POV to make it seamless and aesthetically pleasing.
I started making silent vlogs in April 2024. I am hoping to get a wider reach. I enjoy making these kind of vlogs because it is so easy to edit since there isn’t much physical talking involved.

Absolutely wonderful. Love how a simple idea about how you shoot and edit your videos turns into both a well done tutorial and cinematic piece at the same time. I typically coach against faceless videos. Not that they’re bad. I do believe people connect more with a face. This has changed my mind. This proves you can still connect with the essence of someone who’s there but maybe not totally seen. So well done. Thank you for sharing.
Some of my fav youtubers are faceless, they tend to be day in the life type videos in Japan etc who tend to be introverted etc.
