Hi Friends! Just a note, this video is mostly about the meaning behind my tattoos/why i got them/why they're special to me. If you have general tattoo questions (where i got them, pricing, pain, etc.) I've left a lil Q&A in the description for you! You can also comment any other questions you have. Thanks so much for watching! I seriously love you guys so much
I love it. I am on my way to being a real-life shadowhunter. I got the fearless rune on my shoulder and I'll be getting the stamina tattoo tomorrow on my hip.
Back in 2012 I got a Mockingjay pin tattooed near my shoulder blade. I finished the Hunger Games series while basically living in the hospital saying goodbye to my best friend's mom who was terminally ill. Over the two weeks sleeping in the hospital floor I thought of a way to honor what she meant to me. That's when I decided on the mockingjay. The symbol of a girl who sacrificed almost everything for the good of her people. My best friend's mom was the most selfless person I ever met and I thought it fit her perfectly. Now I carry her with me always.
Hi! I'm Italian and I study latin in my high school, so I can tell you the exact translation of "Flectere si nequeo superos, Acheronta movebo.". In Italian the transaltion is "Se non potrò commuovere gli dèi celesti, muoverò Acheronte." and it's from Virgilio and In English is "If I can't move the Gods, I'll move Acheron" (Move intended as "make them cry"). As you probably know, Acheron was the man who took the souls who had to go to hell from one side of the river in the lower world to, in fact, hell. Sorry for my english, I hope I helped!
Hi . I just saw this and I wanted to ask you some translations in Latin. I also want to get a permanent tattoo done. Can I connect with you on Twitter please ?
Hey Emma, I was planning on getting the healing rune when i turn 18 and move out of my parents house, it would signify me healing from the emotional abuse of not being accepted as gay, although i know that you should never copy someone's tattoo idea, therefore I'm asking if it would be ok if in the future i got one?
i think the idea of "copying someones tattoo" IS SOOOOOOO DUMMBBBB i'm not the first person to get an iratze tattoo, why would i have a claim on it? get that tattoos that mean something to you, regardless of if they also mean something to someone else :)

on my 18th birthday I want to get the fearless rune tattooed. Having anxiety there is nothing more that I want more than to be fearless and I even draw it on my wrist when I feel down or i know I'm doing something that will stress me out💗
I have "it was books that made me feel that perhaps I wasn't completely alone" in typewriter font on my ribs, it was a first tattoo. I also had "all was well" in Harry Potter font with my wand from Pottermore on the inside of my bicep. There are so many more bookish tattoos that I want, they just mean so much to me.
I love the tattoos that say something for you! Mental illness is such a huge cross to bare, I hope you aren't carrying it alone. Books are why I'm alive. I love love love the fact that you have found something that can be immortalized in the way you want to.
"everyone's a little broken..that's how the light gets in" ..emma u don't require a tattoo to recover because u r strong enough to talk about it so freely with us.... It feels like a family........ The tattoo is not healing u... Your spirit is!! Btw amazing tattoos
I absolutely love all your tattoos!! They're perfect and you picked such good placement for them😍😍😍 those are some of my favorite quotes from Cassandra's books also! And the deathly hollows tattoos are my favorite from any of the Harry Potter ones I've seen💕💕💕
Wow, I'm blown away right now. Just you being so honest about your past experiences is really inspiring to me. It gives me hope while still trying to overcome my own demons. So thank you.
I love hearing how much the shadowhunter series has meant to you in your life, because it helped me in similar ways and has been a companion to me through so many rough times. I have the quote "to love is to destroy" on my collarbone & "it was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone" on my ribs. It's crazy how much a series can impact your life!
Did you ever have to overcome any tattoo sterotypes regarding family or friends? I really want to get tattoos that are important to me but I know my family will be against it.
Emily Starkweather my mom and dad aren't keen on the idea of lots of tattoos and my grandparendsndefinitely hate them but st the end of the day, it's my body & I can do what I want with it :)
emmmabooks hi Emma! When I read that last thing you said about you being able to do whatever you want with your body, it reminded me of last week when I got a henna tattoo and my dad was soooo mad and disgusted. Emily, I feel you. I've planned the tattoos I want to get and when I want to get them for ages, but I know if I get something, as little as it might be, everyone will be mad af and probably half of them will stop talking to me :)
I absolutely love you. I find it so cool that you give books the appreciation they deserve for changing your life because the words they contain really do have the power to change us. I love Cassie’s books because her characters have improved me as a person so much. Thank you for this cool video! :))
Very soon I plan on getting a tattoo of the night court symbol from the ACOTAR series with the quote "to the dreamers who dare to wish upon the stars. To the stars who listen and the dreams that are answered"
Your new room design looks so cute! I'm going to get "I am." tattooed in Victora Swab' s handwriting. She was kind enough to write it out for me but I haven't gotten it yet because I don't know if I want to add something to it.
My best friend and I are planning to get "matching tattoos" when we're going to our roadtrip in the usa when we'll be 19, we'll get a small parabatai tattoo in the same place^^
I love all the Shadowhunter-related tattoos. Cassie Clare is one of my favorite authors. The quote on your back from TID is my #1 favorite bookish quote of all time! 😍
I've booked to get my second tattoo next month before I move to university and the quote I'm getting tattooed is "Life is a book and there are a thousand pages I have not yet read" which is from Clockwork Princess and The Infernal Devices is a very important series to me and I feel like I'm home between the words and pages of these books. Also the quote is said by Will who is my favourite book character of all time, he's taught me power and strength and is a character who I've always found a comfort it so I'm very excited to get it done. But, I do already have one tattoo but it's not a book tattoo😂 it's a quote that says I fight through to see tomorrow which is a quote from a song called Gravity by With Confidence who are my favourite band of all time and it is written by their drummer Josh who is my favourite member and I got it because I've suffered from depression since I was 14 and it still takes a lot to fight through to the next day and at the start of this year I used to have to listen to this song every night so I actually went to sleep and didn't end everything instead so this song is a very important song to me and it and the band have been a huge anchor for me during my recovery and when a relapse happens they're the band I go to and every time I see them and meet them I really feel like I'm at home and safe safe and happy so it's very important to me and it's a place that was my preferred area when I used to self harm so when I get those urges again it's nice to look down and remind myself I need to keep fighting.
@ Diana Baklanova I don’t think that they r saying that the act of writing on oneself is stupid, rather that they themselves t stupid because they didn’t realize that those were all actually Emma’s tattoos
my bookish tattoo is in a typewriter font on my forearm and says 'no more staying indoors, there's battles to build and cities to burn' and it is from my favourite poetry book by keaton henson :)) it is on the arm i used to s/h on (i also have a sunflower on my wrist) so whenever i have extreme anxiety or feel v depressed i just look at it ! it's like a little reminder on my body to keep me going :) i really want to get a harry potter tattoo !
I can't get tattoos because of religious reasons but if I could I would also get an iratze tattoo. I've struggled with depression, suicidal ideation and anxiety since middle school and the Mortal Instruments literally saved my life. Your tattoos r so beautiful.
I've got two tattoos so far, though none book related, but I will definitely be getting a HP related one (possibly a quote), but probably also a LOTR quote (Not All Those Who Wander are Lost), which is also because I travel a lot, so that quote speaks to me on more than one level. But one tattoo I got on my back is from a drawing by one of the most inspiring and talented young women I know, Carrie Hope Fletcher. She's incredible and it was over 10 years ago that I saw this drawing and knew immediately that I wanted it as a tattoo. I even got her permission and sent her a photo on twitter after getting it (years later) and she thought it was really cool :)
Omg this is so creepy... my name is Emma and I planned on getting the self-healing rune tattooed on my left arm as well... :'D oh, and I want that rune because of the exact same reasons you got it... ^_^ btw you are very pretty and your tattoos are awesome *~*
I've wanted this video for so long!!! My favorite tattoo of yours is the one in Cassandra Clare's writing. But I love all your tattoos. I think that they are all so unique. You are so inspiring!
I have been considering getting an iratze tattoo for the longest time due to having many health problems and seeing your tattoo just makes me want it even more!
I got two minutes into this video and instantly hit subscribe. I feel like you have the most incredible presence and personality, and I definitely want to see more of your content. Stunning tattoos and meanings, by the way!
The mortal instruments also got me into reading again at a very crucial time. I was finally on my journey to positive mental health. I was diagnosed BPD with severe depression and anxiety. These books brought so much joy to me that i would wake up just for them. I'm not as obsessed now, I was 22/23 and am now 28 turning 29 in aug. But ive been re-reading them slowly and have such fond memories of my strength to overcome! Much love Emma keep rockin you! 😊
It's so cool that you have a tattoo in Cassandra Clare's handwriting! The Mortal Instruments has been on my to-read list forever, but since discovering booktube, and especially your channel and hearing your enthusiasm and love for the series, it's gotten way bumped up on my TBR. I plan on starting them once I finish binging the Percy Jackson series and the Series of Unfortunate Events. I'm really looking forward to venturing into the world I know you and many other booktubers I admire enjoy so much!
I also got my first tattoo to represent a healing of my mental health issues as I was diagnosed with GAD and major depression years ago. While I'm grateful I don't deal with depression anymore, I struggle with the anxiety demon everyday, even in my dreams. My tattoo says, "Sometimes the weak become the strong". When I see it, it's a reminder of how hard and real mental issues are but I will always be strong enough to make it through. Today is my first day back to college in a few years so I can complete my psychology degree in hopes of one day being a mental health counselor. I just wanted you to know that you're not alone.
Dana Katz that sounds wonderful, I'm so proud of how far you've come! I'm also studying to be a mental health counselor :)) I'm wishing you the best!!!
I was having a tough day and for whatever reason, this totally turned my mood around. Thank you for being you and being honest about mental health. It helps me a lot.
You are my favorite booktuber because I have a very similar story with The Mortal Instruments. I read the books in middle school when I was severely depressed and they helped me escape. These books have helped me so much and it's amazing how Cassandras books can help and influence so many people.
Been waiting for this video for years! 😂 I'd never be able to get a tattoo, my pain tolerance is awful! If I worked up the courage to get one though I'd get it on my ribs so I could hide it (since I'm a teacher) and it would have to be something Disney! I'd like a quote or the Sun symbol from Tangled since it's my favourite Disney movie!
Cassie's reaction in that clip made me well up, you probably made her day, like, imagine being an author and seeing those tattoos and being asked to have you handwriting permanently on someone's body because you mean so much to them. Ugghh, so many feels. Xxx
I know I'm super late... but you had me in tears over the first tattoo. I haven't read that series, but your struggles with mental illness and self harm really pulled at my heartstrings. I thought I was recovered when I started college... I even considered getting a recovery tattoo myself. Four years later, I've relapsed and feel as though all of my progress went down the drain. You helped me realize that it's all a part of healing. I have a newfound strength from hearing your story. Thank you so much. ♡
Your video made me so happy! I have a lot of tattoos and am thinking about using book inspiration for my new ones. I love your healing rune and the deathly hollows. I also love the Shadowhunter series. It helped me disconnect from negative thoughts I had in a really dark period of my life. Lots of love to you!
Omg you talking about the iratze tattoo and the meaning behind it was so emotionally powerful 😍😍 You are seriously a big inspiration to me and I can't even put into words how much I adore you 😘 I enjoyed this video so much! 🙌
I have never heard of you until now. I have been watching tattoo videos a lot lately because I want so many when I turn 18. I am 17 right now. I stumbled across this video and instantly noticed your necklace. I noticed that it was from The Mortal Instruments series. I have read them a few times and I am in the middle of rereading them right now. I just started City of Fallen Angels again. It is literally sitting on my bed right next to me. Lately things have been hard in my life and reading these again have been helping me get my mind to think about the good things. I really want to get some kind of tattoo that has to do with the series. You may not see this but I just wanted to pop on here and say that watching this video made my night because I have found someone who has a love for the series like I do!
This video genuinely made me tear up! I dont believe tattoos ever have to "mean something" but its so so touching to see how much yours mean to you and its something that will continue to mean something through the rest of your life 😊 i have an arrow on my ribs for the hunger games (the first books that i ever read) and debating my next harry potter one!
I had the idea for a iratze tattoo a few months ago and I'm probably going to get it tattooed once I'm further into recovery. It has a similar meaning for me as it does to you and I hope you are ok with me getting it tattooed too.
Hi Emma! I LOVE your videos! I know that it's not really book related, but I was wondering if you could do a video discussion about the new movie "To The Bone"? I know it can be triggering and I understand if you won't do it, but I, being a recovering anorexic, watched the movie and I have a lot of different thoughts about it and would really like to hear your opinion(I love your discussion videos whether it's on a book related topic or not). Sending a lot of love from Israel ❤
Emma you're so inspirational and amazing, thank you so much for making me feel like I can overcome anything and like i'm part of a family that cares about me. Your videos have helped me through a lot and I just want you to know how special you are to me ❤️
ugh, all of your tattoos fit you so well. i love how they’re all so meaningful and unique, and im more than proud of you for fighting your battles for so long! 💚
I loved hearing more about all your bookish tattoos! It's so amazing that each one has a really important and special meaning to you, and I'm so glad you shared the stories 😊
I love all of your tattoos so much!! I have runes tattooed down my spine. And have many more TMI, TID, and TDA tattoos planned because they all mean so much to me. I've never seen another person with similar tattoos. It's so cool!!!
I'm a sucker for tattoo videos. Thanks for sharing. Also, City of Lost Souls is my favorite Mortal Instruments book too. Can't explain why, I just love it.
This made me emotional. I got mad love for you Emma and how you're so brave to share your life experiences with others whom might need someone to connect with.
I know you probably didn’t realize, but you’ve made a HUGE spoiler. I’m currently reading the shadowhunters saga and as you probably know the last names in the series are really important, and the last name of Sebastian in this case is a really BIG spoiler so in the future, please if you’re going to say something related with books, think if it could be an spoiler and warn to your audience that the video contain spoilers.
Hey Emma, I've been subscribed for a bit (from a different acc) but I'd never known that you'd dealt with an eating disorder. Earlier this year there was a period of time when I either wasn't eating anything or was only eating enough. It means a lot to me that you can openly talk about it, especially since you're one of my favorite booktubers and knowing that you're recovering is so admirable.
Rewatching this video because I actually JUST got the Fearless rune on my ribs. It was my very first tattoo and it's healing nicely. I debated the rune to get for a really long time, but a few years ago I started drawing Fearless on myself when I was having really bad anxiety as a sort of distraction, and seeing it later on would give me the strength to keep fighting when it seemed like I'd never go another day without having an anxiety attack. Two years later I've made so much progress, and this little symbol now means so much to me that I felt I needed it to be a permanent fixture. I went for the ribs because it was the place I felt the most nervous about getting tattooed since I'd heard it was one of the most painful, and I guess it worked because I'm no longer afraid to get any other tattoos (though I am still scared of spiders).
As both a lover of tattoos and anything mortal instruments/infernal devices, this video made me so happy!! I've been thinking of what bookish tattoo to get for ages and this video inspired me for sure. Love them all!
Hi Emma, I love all your tattoos you've gotten and the meanings and reasons why you got them. I also have gone through my own problems with mental health and eating disorders and I love the idea of an iratze as a symbol for healing. Whenever I go through times of suicidal thoughts and self harm I think I could use a reminder like that. I think putting that symbol in a vulnerable place for me would give me that sense of hope too. So when I look down and feel those thoughts again I could remember what it stands for. Thank you so much for all your videos you make. The shadowhunter chronicles and Harry Potter (and books in general) are a huge part of my life and I'm glad I can find a platform where I can bond with other people with the same passion.
I am so glad you made this video and shared the meaning behind your tattoos. I love book tattoos--I have a stack of books with an owl sitting on top of them on my ankle. Keep sharing your story...keep being you--I know all too well how awful self-harming can be and how dark a place it can be. By being open you are helping so many others. Keeping being your sweet, bad a** self :-)
I would so love to get all those same tattoos. Especially. "Words have the power to change us". I used to be obsessed wid it when I first read it . I wrote it EVERYWHERE. Still am obsessed.
I love all your tattoos! I've got 3 bookish tattoo, The Night Court Symbol from ACOMAF, The quote 'Don't let the hard days win' also from ACOMAF and 4 TMI runes! I love them all so much and can't wait to get my 4th (5th tattoo overall) on the 9th of September; flying books across my back! xx
Hi. I love your tattoos. I think the meaning behind each of them is so great and important, especially your first one, i really understand the struggle and I can imagine that a healing rune from the book that helped you so much can give you great strength in dark times. I also have a bookish tattoo inspired by ACOTAR because that whole series is so very special and important to me and it reminds me to not be afraid and that you can achieve anything. I hope I can get more bookish tattoos in the future.
I love your tattoos and understand how much the shadowhunters tattoos mean to you. I was 13/14 when I found TMI and I was going through depression. I'm 17 now and TMI was a big part of my healing process. Next year I plan to get the agility rune tattooed on my leg. To remind me to be strong. Continue to be strong, Emma. To heal and be brave.(And you got that Virgil quote tattoo on my birthday! That's so cool.)
I love so much the Shadowhunters world. Like, seriously, I love it so fucking much, I cry like a baby every time I reread any of the books of any of the series, and I cried watching this video because those books are something so special to me.
For years, I've been toying with the idea of getting the three harry potter stars tattooed behind my ear. And I'm happy to see that your tattoo there didn't seem painful!
Books have changed my life so much and when I'm older I want to get a tattoo that shows it. Emma your tattoos are AMAZING! I expecially love the "words have the power to change us" that's my favorite quote from Cassandra Clare's books.
I love all of your tattoos and the meanings behind them!! :)) Your videos always seem to brighten my day when they are posted. I have also gotten so many great book recommendations from you, so thank you so much!
I can’t wait to get my shadowhunter tattoos. These books and then what they have done with tv shows really just took me out of my world and helped. I’m in love with the books. I want the iratze, and the strength rune. Maybe the angelic rune
wanted to let you know that you give off such a sweet and kind vibe, love your videos and I want to say thank you for putting yourself out there! keep spreading the love:)
Awesome tattoos and it is nice you shared the story behind them with us. I think it is really cool that you got tattooed at Tommy from Ink Master's tattoo shop, and that Marvin his current team mate on this season did one of your tattoos.
Hi Friends!

Is anyone else very uncomfortable with the background music?
volume problems happen
Charlie - I didn’t even notice it 😂
Hey Emma, I was planning on getting the healing rune when i turn 18 and move out of my parents house, it would signify me healing from the emotional abuse of not being accepted as gay, although i know that you should never copy someone's tattoo idea, therefore I'm asking if it would be ok if in the future i got one?

get that tattoos that mean something to you, regardless of if they also mean something to someone else :)
emmmabooks thanks emma!
Musical Reads she didn't create the idea.. U don't need to ask permission.. It is very sweet of you though.
hope you don't also include copying of original tattoos in your "copying someones tattoo IS SOOOOO DUMMBBBB" comment, because that is akin to plagiarising and breeches the copyright of the original artist

Alex B. I was thinking the same thing
I love the tattoos that say something for you! Mental illness is such a huge cross to bare, I hope you aren't carrying it alone.
Books are why I'm alive. I love love love the fact that you have found something that can be immortalized in the way you want to.
Alma Grandberg I feel the same
emmmabooks if I manage to get the courage up to get a tattoo the first one I want is to honour my children.
"everyone's a little broken..that's how the light gets in" ..emma u don't require a tattoo to recover because u r strong enough to talk about it so freely with us.... It feels like a family........ The tattoo is not healing u... Your spirit is!! Btw amazing tattoos

Ellu t. .....not sure..... Just one of my favorites!!!! If u looking for more such quotes check out my Pinterest : Vanshika😉
Ok, thanks. I will definitely check out you Pintrest. :)
It's not exactly the same, but "The wound is the place the light enters you" is a quote from the poet Rumi. One of my favourites.
Hope this helps. :)
The first tattoo has such a deep meaning
I think you're more addict to Cassandra Clara books more than I, that's new.

Your tattoos are so beautiful and I love the meaning behind each of them!
Emmahi 1234 thank you!!!
I love hearing how much the shadowhunter series has meant to you in your life, because it helped me in similar ways and has been a companion to me through so many rough times. I have the quote "to love is to destroy" on my collarbone & "it was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone" on my ribs. It's crazy how much a series can impact your life!
that sounds lovely :)
Oh my gosh your username has Starkweather that's brilliant!!!!
Is it your actual surname?
Ellu t. Ah sounds wonderful!!!!!!
My best friend and I are planning to get "matching tattoos" when we're going to our roadtrip in the usa when we'll be 19, we'll get a small parabatai tattoo in the same place^^
Oh and I love your makeup and your hair so much
Céline awh that sounds so cute!
Me and my twin have matching parabatai tattoos
But, I do already have one tattoo but it's not a book tattoo😂 it's a quote that says I fight through to see tomorrow which is a quote from a song called Gravity by With Confidence who are my favourite band of all time and it is written by their drummer Josh who is my favourite member and I got it because I've suffered from depression since I was 14 and it still takes a lot to fight through to the next day and at the start of this year I used to have to listen to this song every night so I actually went to sleep and didn't end everything instead so this song is a very important song to me and it and the band have been a huge anchor for me during my recovery and when a relapse happens they're the band I go to and every time I see them and meet them I really feel like I'm at home and safe safe and happy so it's very important to me and it's a place that was my preferred area when I used to self harm so when I get those urges again it's nice to look down and remind myself I need to keep fighting.
this all sounds so lovely!!!!
i hope you are doing well love
i love with confidence!
I've been dying for this video. Did not disappoint at all
awh im so happy to hear it!!
All this time I thought you drew on yourself everyday, how stupid can one be😂
ahhahahahahaaha XD
I actually do that...
@ Diana Baklanova I don’t think that they r saying that the act of writing on oneself is stupid, rather that they themselves t stupid because they didn’t realize that those were all actually Emma’s tattoos
I LOOOOOOOOVE EVERY SHADOWHUNTER BOOK SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH
The books helped me through hard times
they still do up to this day.
my bookish tattoo is in a typewriter font on my forearm and says 'no more staying indoors, there's battles to build and cities to burn' and it is from my favourite poetry book by keaton henson :)) it is on the arm i used to s/h on (i also have a sunflower on my wrist) so whenever i have extreme anxiety or feel v depressed i just look at it ! it's like a little reminder on my body to keep me going :) i really want to get a harry potter tattoo !
I can't get tattoos because of religious reasons but if I could I would also get an iratze tattoo. I've struggled with depression, suicidal ideation and anxiety since middle school and the Mortal Instruments literally saved my life. Your tattoos r so beautiful.
definitely understand the religion thing!!
i hope you are doing well love, better days are coming
TheBookChatter that's soo cool. And Carrie is such a delightfull human
Emma L. She truly is. I hope I get a chance to meet her one day.
TheBookChatter Same. hopefully we both get the chance to meet her.
Emma L. Both Hopefuls 😄
What a lovely story!!!!! :)
I've been struggling with mental health issues for a few years now, you are such an inspiration.
Omg this is so creepy... my name is Emma and I planned on getting the self-healing rune tattooed on my left arm as well... :'D oh, and I want that rune because of the exact same reasons you got it... ^_^ btw you are very pretty and your tattoos are awesome *~*
Wow 😲
I've wanted this video for so long!!! My favorite tattoo of yours is the one in Cassandra Clare's writing. But I love all your tattoos. I think that they are all so unique. You are so inspiring!
awh im so happy you like them :) thank you!
I have been considering getting an iratze tattoo for the longest time due to having many health problems and seeing your tattoo just makes me want it even more!
Carissa Rose you absolutely should, it's a wonderful symboln
I got two minutes into this video and instantly hit subscribe. I feel like you have the most incredible presence and personality, and I definitely want to see more of your content. Stunning tattoos and meanings, by the way!
we haVE LIKE ALL THE SAME FANDOMS !!! i literally love you omg😭💘
this video touched my heart
zahra halcyon awh
Lauren S I hope you're doing well :))
ahhhh your tattoos are all so beautiful! also, I love your change of background! very ~aesthetic~
KatinHatTalks thank you!!!
You are my favorite booktuber because I have a very similar story with The Mortal Instruments. I read the books in middle school when I was severely depressed and they helped me escape. These books have helped me so much and it's amazing how Cassandras books can help and influence so many people.
awh that's wonderful i'm so happy these books could do that for you :)
Been waiting for this video for years! 😂
I'd never be able to get a tattoo, my pain tolerance is awful! If I worked up the courage to get one though I'd get it on my ribs so I could hide it (since I'm a teacher) and it would have to be something Disney! I'd like a quote or the Sun symbol from Tangled since it's my favourite Disney movie!
Awh maybe in the future! That sounds great :)
🌟🌟🌟🌟 It meant the absolute world to me, you being a clue host of the book junkie Trials! Thank you so much Emma! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Love all your tattoos so much! Really want to get my own one day.
thank you :) i hope you do!
Cassie's reaction in that clip made me well up, you probably made her day, like, imagine being an author and seeing those tattoos and being asked to have you handwriting permanently on someone's body because you mean so much to them. Ugghh, so many feels. Xxx
this video was recommended to me by youtube but i found it quite inspiring. also you're very beautiful!
thank you for sharing, i hope you are doing well
Where did u get that off the shoulder sweater u are wearing? I love it!
boohoo!
I just realised that I have been pronouncing irahtze wrong for years...
Omg you talking about the iratze tattoo and the meaning behind it was so emotionally powerful 😍😍 You are seriously a big inspiration to me and I can't even put into words how much I adore you 😘 I enjoyed this video so much! 🙌
If i wrote a book my main character would be heavily based on you🥺👑✨
I have never heard of you until now.
Wow I just stumbled upon your videos and I love these book series and your tattoos
It has a similar meaning for me as it does to you and I hope you are ok with me getting it tattooed too.
elannag of course I'm okay with it, I didn't invent the idea!! Congrats on your recovery, that's amazing :)
You're such a beautiful soul. I love your videos, they make me so happy. Please always be this honest, be yourself. You rock girl!
En Tinta Worlds on paper thank you:) same to you!!!!
Katarina Marikutsa I'm definitely considering it :) thank you for the suggstion!
Emma you're so inspirational and amazing, thank you so much for making me feel like I can overcome anything and like i'm part of a family that cares about me. Your videos have helped me through a lot and I just want you to know how special you are to me ❤️
Hailey Leland you are so lovely and wonderful
They are all so beautiful!! X
thank you!!
ugh, all of your tattoos fit you so well. i love how they’re all so meaningful and unique, and im more than proud of you for fighting your battles for so long! 💚
Fabulous tatoos😍
I'd like to have SH related tatoo too, but I have to wait 3 years to become an adult((
Nice vid, as always❤
you can still get it in 3 years, and i hope you do! :)
I loved hearing more about all your bookish tattoos! It's so amazing that each one has a really important and special meaning to you, and I'm so glad you shared the stories 😊
City of Lost Souls was my least favorite book of them all. My favorite book from the TMI series is City of Glass.
Da Queen same!
Mines Fallen Angels (my fave) and i don't have a least favourite i don't think. They're all amazing and have plot twists.
I love all of your tattoos so much!! I have runes tattooed down my spine. And have many more TMI, TID, and TDA tattoos planned because they all mean so much to me. I've never seen another person with similar tattoos. It's so cool!!!
I can't wait until I'm 18 because I'm getting a Harry Potter Tatoo!
Lauren Strout I got a Beatles tattoo when I turned 18, I want a Harry Potter tattoo when I turn 20 (October ❤)
I got a golden snitch tattoo that covers all my selfharm scars. 😊 I absolutely love it!
Laura Kinney what was the Beatles tattoo of?
I'm a sucker for tattoo videos. Thanks for sharing.
Also, City of Lost Souls is my favorite Mortal Instruments book too. Can't explain why, I just love it.
thank you for watching!
Your tattoos are so amazing and I'm a little bit jealous of you 😂.
Ana Zavolovsek awh hahha thank you!
This made me emotional. I got mad love for you Emma and how you're so brave to share your life experiences with others whom might need someone to connect with.
Ivy Valentiny thank you so much
"v" is pronounced like a "w" in Latin for future reference lol
I'm obsessed with the mortal instruments and shadow hunters and your tattoos give me life
I know you probably didn’t realize, but you’ve made a HUGE spoiler.
I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through. I hope you have the help you need and are doing well
your name cant be emma because my name is emma. there can only be one
Are you Emma Carstairs? :D
Emma Schuren
Me with my name
The shadowhunter chronicles and Harry Potter (and books in general) are a huge part of my life and I'm glad I can find a platform where I can bond with other people with the same passion.
savannah erickson thank you for sharing with me. I'm so sorry to hear what you've been thought but I have faith that better days are coming :)
LauraAnne Wright that sounds like a lovely tattoo!! Same to you love :)
I really enjoyed learning about your book related tattoo experiences, thanks for sharing.
Your videos always seem to brighten my day when they are posted. I have also gotten so many great book recommendations from you, so thank you so much!
thank you so much for watching
I can’t wait to get my shadowhunter tattoos. These books and then what they have done with tv shows really just took me out of my world and helped. I’m in love with the books. I want the iratze, and the strength rune. Maybe the angelic rune
wanted to let you know that you give off such a sweet and kind vibe, love your videos and I want to say thank you for putting yourself out there! keep spreading the love:)
I've never met anyone who had the Mortal Instruments help them as much as it helped me! I'm so glad I stumbled on your channel!
Awesome tattoos and it is nice you shared the story behind them with us. I think it is really cool that you got tattooed at Tommy from Ink Master's tattoo shop, and that Marvin his current team mate on this season did one of your tattoos.
yes they are both so awesome!!!
