I agree with you. This video saved my baby's life. She was suffering so bad from this and I had no idea what it was. Took her to the vet. Charged me almost $500 just to look at her and didn't get a complete confirmation it was this. The vet wanted to give her a treatment that would have costed thousands of dollars. The ingredients in this video are items we already have in our home. Now she is up and moving and starting to get better.

My baby also got this. I also paid 500 in vets fees and was told they wanted to do a emergency spay. A normal spay costs 200 and they wanted to charge me 5000 dollars for this one, because it required "more clean up of infection". I did all of this plus some extra herbs and switched to homeade dog food. That was 2 years ago and I never got her the surgery. She is the healthiest she has been in 6 years. :) she is 9 years old. I'm not going to lie, it is really rough for me emotionally going through the process, as it took a few weeks to kick this bacteria out. It was so worth it for my baby.

I was very excited finding your videos and it comfort me through the week of this awful disease. Unfortunately my baby Chi passed away at home at 13yrs old within a week. She had open pyro. Please get your dogs Spayed. My baby was too old for surgery and we went this route. I tried everything but things went down hill very fast. I'm writing this because I've read every comment and watched every pyrometra video and tried my very best 24 hour care with all these home remedies but it wasn't enough. But I'm so happy that I found this video. I've never lost a dog until today. The BEST 13 yrs of my life with Zoey. Please again and I beg you, if your not breeding please get your dog fixed. Please do it before it's too late. To see my baby go from healthy to watching her deteriorate in the matter of days was the most heartbreaking thing to watch. I will always remember you Zoey and daddy Loved you so much.😭🙏🏾🕊️

This was invaluable advice for my girl, an unspayed boxer staffy cross. She had a womb infection that I treated with vitamin c, manuka honey, turmeric in capsules a clove of raw garlic per day and some Reiki healing then a week or two later when I could afford to order them I added the yunnan baiyoa jiaonang giving her 3 tablets a day while maintaining the use of the manuka honey and vitamin c and was noticing improvement with the vit c, manuka honey and turmeric but it most definitely accelerated with the yunnan. I purchased 2 boxes and still have 5 tablets left in one as she recovered so well I was able to discontinue use. I've waited a couple of weeks or so before posting this as I wanted to make sure she is totally better but my goodness what a change. She's back to her normal full of beans personality as opposed to being pretty flat and clearly under the weather with lots of discharge at the start to weight gained back within days of recovery and back to her beautiful full health. I highly recommend this treatment regime and am so incredibly grateful to have found this video when she got sick. It's devastating watching an animal in a bad way so I can't express how over the moon I am to have my bright bouncy girl back. Thank you so much. Xxx

@@abarnambikak8910 sorry I've just seen this message. We were very lucky in that my girl never went off her food nor was she sick which was why I felt confident enough to try this remedy but yes, I would recommend it and advise to try all of it. The vitamin c the turmeric, manuka honey, raw garlic plus the herbal remedy. She got funny about taking the meds in chicken and bread so I put them straight down her throat. The food I had her on at the time was boiled chicken and vegetable with potato's or rice. Even without missing meals the infection was so bad that she lost lots of weight and condition but once I started the herbal meds that all went back to normal.

She had another season that ended about a month ago now and all is well so far. She bounced right back to her old self I'm glad to say. I won't relax until we are a few months past her last season as it was a couple to a few months last time after her season that the infection occurred and I'm watching out for any signs of ill health just incase she has closed pyometra which would have to mean a spay op but I'm happy to report thus far she is great.

This saved my dogs life 3 years ago and she is now 12 years old without a reoccurrence and is still intact. I still to this day give her a daily vitamin c.
My dog was reluctant to take the concoction paste at first but I was patient. If your dog refuses it show her a lot of love and feed it to her from your finger one dip at a time. sneak it on the side of her mouth and rub on her gums gently. It may take awhile to get dose in her mouth but its worth it. Take your time and be kind this is key, its stressful because you are worried about your dog but give your dog a peaceful and calm vibe.

My 7 year old girl went through this last year. In late April 2020 I took her to the vet because she stopped eating and they told me she had pyometra and would need a 5500.00 surgery immediately. I didn't have it. Covid had just shut everything down and I had no income. My dog was sick, not eating and drinking excessively. I saw no discharge and she was constantly licking herself. The vet never told me if it was open or closed. I found this youtube and I mixed that honey that sounds like manuka I think with vitamin C and turmeric with peanut butter into balls and gave her 1 three times a day. It took me a month to come up with the money. This concoction kept my girl alive and she started eating and acting almost normal. She had the surgery in June of 2020. Thank you for sharing this information. You are a God send.

Wow! That’s amazing! Good for you both! My dog just contracted it, and the only vet open during yesterday’s snowstorm refused to do her surgery bc I could not withdraw the cash from my savings bc the banks were also closed during the inclement weather. She sent my pet home with antibiotics. The local spay/neuter clinic did the surgery today and did not charge me a penny! It sounds like your dog’s uterus was closed. My dog had a whole lot of pus-related discharge, so I put warm compresses on her, but when the vet checked her, the vet said it was closed, but by even there was quite a bit of discharge again. I guess the uterus can both open and close, but you would definitely know on your end bc the discharge was very smelly.

My old Golden had a closed pyometra at ,8 yrs old, with no symptoms other than suddenly seeming depressed one day. I phoned our country vet and took her in right away. P was suspected due to time from heat, but no proof, but she was prepped for surgery the next day as we had planned to get her spayed. She had been hormone reactive with vomiting during her heat, as well as having two false pregnancies, gathering fake puppies like socks, and caring for them for 6 weeks, despite never having been bred.
Both uterine horns were swollen to bursting, and he called me immediately to let us know. Two vets did the delicate job of removing the about to burst, pus sac, and were surprised she had not shown other symptoms. I was so glad we acted on that vague symptom of depression, because another couple of days would have been disasterous. She happily roughhoused with her 3 boys another 6 years.

My young 9 month old cat had pyometra. When she went into heat, she attracted my 8 year old neutered male. He actually penetrated her. I didn’t worry cause she wasn’t going to get pregnant. However a month later she was acting very aggressive and didn’t want me to touch her. Then i saw blood come out of her uterus. The vet told me it was nothing. I told vet it might be Pyometra , the vet said it only happens to older female cats that aren’t spayed. Not young cats. Well the next day , the cat had white pus coming out of uterus. I rushed cat back to vet, There was a different vet , and he told me it was pyometra, and that she needs emergency surgery, now! The operation was successful, he removed the whole uterus filled with puss. It was a delicate operation. He showed me a video of the uterus he removed, It looked like a sausage filled with white Elmer’s glue! That vet saved her life.

@@monicarenee7949 Yes.. somehow my young female cat (7 months old) in heat (Girly Girl) triggered something latent in my neutered male cat’s brain (McKee) to want to mate. (I adopted McKee when he was a tiny baby at 5 weeks old from a large litter. he was sickly at that time and had to be taken to vet, but today he’s healthy and strong at 12 yrs old.).
This desire to mate only popped into McKee’s brain.. but not the other 2 Neutered male cats I had at that time.
👉There were 2 veterinarians. The first veterinarian misdiagnosed my female cat’s condition. She disregarded the blood coming out of her uterus .. which wasn’t blood red but slightly lighter. (Cats don’t have periods.. like dogs.. it’s rare). She dissed my suggestion that could it be pyometra? Also this young female cat ( 8 months old) was acting withdrawn, hiding, and becoming super aggressive.. ( like a demon cat!).
She was not behaving normal like a cuddly cat that was in normal heat…. I Could not touch her anymore or she would attacked viciously)
What was happening: SHE was in severe PAIN!
But first vet sent me home and told me to come back in two weeks.. to have her spayed.🤨
👉However, The next day .. I brought a video of the mostly pink puss coming out of her uterus.. to show the vet that it was getting worse..( but she was absent that day.)
So, there was different veterinarian working that day.
WHEN he saw the video .. showing the pink puss.. his first words were.. “That’s pyometra! Looks like it’s in a severe state! You have to have emergency surgery NOW! if not, she could die.”
Well.. I ran home and brought Girly Girl right back to this vet and he performed the super delicate operation to remove her puss filled uterus.. she stayed in the hospital for 4 days with IV connection… to recover.
Her belly stitches were 4.5 inches long! (Normal spay stitches are less than one inch!).
That’s why it’s important to spay female cats early .. right after their first heat.
When Girly Girl came home.. she was calm and 😻sweet! (No more demon 😾cat!). Today Girly Girl is 6 years old and super healthy!
McKee doesn’t want to mate with her anymore.. he just preens her coat.. gently.. whenever he wants to get her off the bedding she’s resting on! McKee’s a lover 💕…not a fighter! 😹😸😻

Thanks Doc @Veterinary Secrets I found your video about this Pyometra. My Dog now is in good condition after I gave the meds that I bought online and I hope she is finally 100% good. I didn't go to the Vet for surgery because of the financial issue that's why I searched for any meds that can give to my dog.
Here are the meds that I gave to my Dog based in your video that I purchased from online store in my country:
    1.) Turmeric Curcumin with BioPerine 500mg - 2x/Day
2.) Yunnan Paiyao Powder for Bleeding or Hematoma 250mg - 2x/Day
    3.) Absorbic Acid PET C Vitamins - 2x/Day
For the first week of use, I can noticed that my Dog is with appetite to eat and reducing the discharge and after 2 weeks I don't see any discharge but sometimes she still licking her private part so I think there is a small amount of discharge still. I will continue these medication for 1month maybe until she become 101% good. Thanks Doc again. More power.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS CHANNEL. I JUST ❤️ IT! My 14 yr old Shiba Inu contracted Pyometra. She was running around last week and playing w the cat. I noticed this Thursday night that there was a pus type discharge. I was lucky to get her in to a vet on Friday during a snowstorm, wherein most vets were closed. Because the banks were also closed on Friday due to the inclement weather: the vet refused to do her surgery. Luckily I had enough $$ on me to pay for the visit, diagnostics and antibiotics. The vet sent her home to die, with only a slim chance that the antibiotics would help before her system began shutting down. THIS IS A RAPIDLY ACTING SICKNESS. By morning, she could barely get to her water dish and wee-wee pads. She used her last bit of strength to hobble up to me & collapsed in the crook of my knee where she remained - unmoving. Luckily, the local animal shelter (where I have been involved saving feral cats/kittens) returned my voicemail that I left them after returning from the vet the day before. They urged me to take her in to them immediately. They did the surgery without charging me one single penny to my amazement. I planned on withdrawing money from my savings, but could not access the money until Monday. I thought that was a big enough problem in itself. Little Fox is home with me now. She refused liquids and it was the first time that I had to force her pills down her throat (gabapentin & the antibiotic). I wrapped them in cheese. She can only walk a few steps and was incontinent as she tried so hard to get to her wee-wee pads. She’s asleep next to me and has not moved. I’m keeping her as still as possible and giving her lots of TLC. I’m writing about this to let your viewers know how quickly this sickness can lead to a certain death if not treated immediately. Also, I want your audience to be sure to check with their local animal shelters that do spay/neuter clinics. Don’t rule them out because if money is the problem they may work with you and can sometimes offer a reduced rate. I wish we had a vet like YOU in my area, but we don’t. I just thank God for the little miracles that happened so far in so much adversity. I even had to hire transportation to and from these visits. One question: tomorrow is Sunday, the evening will make it 3 full days since I noticed symptoms. How long can Little Fox go before needing IV fluids if she does not begin drinking again tomorrow? She had fluids during her surgery. I hope she will be able to stand on her feet more tomorrow, but it looks like she is not on her way out of the woods yet. Any suggestions?

Great tip, as always! So two weeks ago I came home to find out that my dog was discharging copious amounts of black blood. Did a quick google search of her symptoms (I know not the best option, but search can be useful if you don't panic, search on creditable sources and use discernment) and one of the first links that showed up was this video. Being a subscriber of yours, for a few years now, I was immediately relieved after watching it. I always have turmeric and raw honey at home, didn't have the rest but I have my own rosemary tincture (natural antiinflammatory) so I had a few drops to the mixture. I've been given it to my dog two to three times a day, as recommended, and three days later the discharge of black blood was completely gone (only a few pinkish spots sporadically, for a few days after). She's doing much better now and is crazy for the concoction, but my other dog gets all sad because she can't get any 🤣

Last fri I lost my baby aslan. It hurts so much and there’s no bringing her back. I hate that surgery costs a lot for pets just like for humans! I hate that I couldn’t afford to pay her surgery. I tried this concussion but it was too late for her. But aslan never showed being in pain until fri night. She started shaking, throwing up and having clear mucus come out of her bottom. The dr that saw her from emergency said she’s very sick and that it’s beet to just put her to sleep. I was on the phone with him he sounds very sympathetic about what’s happening to our aslan. And just gave us an option if we want to do xray and other things. To try and save her but the dr said that even if she goes to surgery it won’t be 100% that she will be ok. Because she also had a big tumor on her bladder. So for him it would be best to put her to sleep to end her suffering. So I told my husband to pick me up from home because I couldn’t go with him at the time when he brought her to the ER because I’m pregnant and has to be on bedrest. But I went told my husband to pick me up because I want to say gbye to my baby. We got there we waited for like 1.5hrs! and when aslan was brought to us to say gbye only 20mins talking to her telling her that we’re ok now she can go. That we’ll be ok and she does not have to worry about me and the baby anymore. We were kissing her hugging her. She was salivating and shaking I brought her blanket and her toy that she liked to play with. Covered her with that blanket and told our gbyes and then she took her last breath. We were waiting for the dr to give her the shots. But she just passed on her own. And I truly believed that she waited for us to see her first before she leaves. She pulled that strength to wait for us to say gbye and send her to the rainbow bridge. I miss her everyday every night. I cry. I will never forget her she’s the most loving fur baby. Would always just like to cuddle and play. I don’t know how I’ll be able to move on. It’s so painful. I wont see her during thanksgiving, christmas, new yrs, and on her bday and she won’t get to meet our baby on the way anymore. It’s hard I love her more than anything in this world and I just wish I can hold her and kiss her again.

My dog has a lot of bloody discharge from below and I bring her to the vet to see and was diagnose with open pyometra. The only way vet say is to remove the whole uterus. I did not make any decision on the spot and I went back to do a search and found this. The first week there no improvement and I continue to go with it and slowly it show some improvement. Mean time when she not eating I do give her some IV fluid under the skin and antibiotic from the vet. Mainly I use Yun Nan Bai Fen, Tumeric and Vitamin C only. if you catch it early it might work, because in my case it didn't.
I didn't catch it early and I noticed it a month later, then made the appointment with the vet but had to wait due to them being very busy and by the time they saw her she was getting more swollen and I had to take her to another vet because my regular vet is way overbooked.
I gave her the mixture but there was no improvement after a week, not even with the antibiotics and surgery was her only option.
I have to say that she was not sad, she was still acting normal, eating normal, playing and was doing her normal begging too.
UPDATE: she had the surgery yesterday and the vet said that the pyometra she had was not a typical one, that he has not seen something like that before, he said that even though the uterus had pus it was in chunks and not liquid...so I told him that I was giving her a mixture of high quality vitamins, turmeric and other stuff and maybe that helped?
She spent the night there and today she is home, he said that she did good on the surgery and was wide awake after that, and I told him that I try to give her natural healthy stuff as much as I can.
So, this remedy helps if you can catch it early.

Today, I lost my minpin. I really wish I would’ve seen this in time. The vets told us that her discharge was “normal” for a dog her age and there’s nothing they can do about it (she was 11 at the time). Fast forward two years, her Pyometra got worse; discharge increased significantly then it just stopped. Im almost certain that is what poisoned her. I wish I got a second opinion because then, I could’ve at least tried to help her and now I feel like I’ve failed her. She suffered a seizure 3 days ago, then began head pressing. Over the course of 3 days, she lost full mobility, vision, hearing and she couldn’t even recognize my voice or face. She wasn’t the dog a knew; almost zombie like. Because I live on a remote island, immediate vet care is nothing but a myth. Transportation only comes around on Thursdays now via the boat, and no planes are flying because of Covid. I feel really bad that she had to suffer the way she did, but I tried my best to make her as comfortable as she could’ve been during her last days. Pleaseeeee take this horrific thing seriously because watching my fur baby suffer literally hurt my heart 😞😞😞😞

Penny has mammary cancer, and Pyometra. Hers isn't too bad yet, but even surgery won't save her now because no surgeon would take her case with both cancer and Pyometra. Please spay her by her 5th birthday. It's not worth it. I didn't think it would happen to us, and I have a best friend who is a vet, who warned me. My dog is having pyometra right now.... She was sick so I started giving her turmeric, silver water, Vit C. I did not know what was going on, but I could see she was sick - not eating, hiding, lethargic, drinking extreme amount of water, walking funny, stiff legs, big belly.... After about a week of not getting better i took her to the Vet. since she had her heat cycle a month ago - they suspected pyometra right away.... but after ultrasound they were confused - maybe she was pregnant?! Her white blood cell count was very big but they decided she has a tick born disease... her uterus was very big, but the liquid inside seemed too clear to be pyometra... We went home with a month supply of antibiotic for tick born infection.... I did start an antibiotic and also still gave her Vit C, turmeric and honey, silver water and Dr. Christopher's INF (for infection) capsules.... I was still afraid if it might be pyometra - since her belly seemed very painful to the touch and extremely hard... So I decided to give her some Castor bean oil yesterday (to hopefully make uterus contract and clear out the puss in case she was having pyometra). I mixed a bit with turmeric and honey. She started leaking today.... A lot. She is leaving behind a trail of brownish liquid. I think she will live!!!! :) Thank you, Dr. Jones for caring for us and our pet wellbeing. Veterinary Secrets hi, thanks for all you do! Can you clear something for me please? My dog is 100lb cane corso and the measurements I'm finding are different. The allicin that I'm finding are in micrograms with the highest being equivalent to 180mg stabilized allicin per cap. Other brands will say 500mg caps, but contain other things with 50mg allicin combined. Am I to go solely on the allicin mg or the full combo? I don't want to feed her 10- 20 caps a day by going by the wrong thing or risk upset by giving too much of the other ingredients in the caps. I am having the same issues with curcumin in that I'm not finding it by itself and the curcuminoids portion being at most 300mg. What's the best way to go or do you recommend brands? I couldn't tell what you were using in the video. Thanks again for helping this concerned cane mom.

Thank you again and Pippi is adorable. What a sweetie!

Hopefully someone answers me tonight. My 14 year old dog was diagnosed with close pyometra. The doctor gave me the option of surgery or antibiotics she said sometimes it clears. Has anybody had close pyometra clear on their dog with antibiotics? I'm also doing the Tumeric honey and cranberry powder with vitamin C. I am extremely worried because the receptionist told me that the antibiotics never work. Everywhere I read it says that closed pyometra needs immediate surgery. I was so scared for my dog that I went back but the doctor said since she had ate to bring her back the next day. I don't know what to do should I get a second diagnosis or do the surgery. My thought was give her the antibiotics and when it clears if it does clear then spay her or keep her on cranberry supplements. Your responses will be appreciated.

Doc glad to have found this video, my dog was in heat 2 weeks ago, since then its been 8 days that my dog is not eating ok, before he dives at her bowl and eat everything, now she only eats when fed by hand in little amounts, but she is not lethargic and even wants some belly rub, I'm really concerned and looking into pyometra as the cause though my vet ruled it put because she doesn't have any discharges, she's on antibiotics for 4 days now but still she's not eating the usual way she doesn't have fever as well, blood test doesn't show any infection and even her ficalysis is ok, even my vet is puzzled about her, is this pyometra or behavioural thing?

My 3 year old Lab just last year started urinating very frequently and in the house which was extremely unusual. 2 lots of antibiotics didn't make her better and the vet could not pick anything up on their xray or ultrasound. She then started getting clear discharge. She was referred to a specialist and they ended up saying it was a mucometra, and both vet and specialist said neither of them have had a case of this happen in a spayed dog before. (She had a laparoscopic spay at 1 years old (just the ovaries)).
She ended up having her uterus removed with a traditional spay surgery.

Hi can I ask how is your dog right now? Mine is dealing with mucometra right now. She's having slight white to clear discharge. She's eating and not lethargic. The vet prescribe an antibiotic for 1 week. It's been five days but she still have a discharge. I will spay her after.

    • @Bexyboo88
      @Bexyboo88 3 роки тому

@@IHeartBangtan_7 Heya, oh I am So sorry to hear bout your dog! This is what it was the Molly (my Lab) had in the end as well! But before they worked out the issue she had already been to the vet quite a few times and been on 2 lots on antibiotics as they thought it was a bladder infection. When she started to have the discharge we were sent straight to the specialist and they came back with that she had mucometra.
The thing that threw our vet off was that she had been spayed at 1, but she had the keyhole spay where they only take the ovaries and not the uterus. They operated on her the very next day at the specialists to remove her uterus.
Molly is 5 now and been fine since.
I hope your sweetie is doing ok, sending love xx

My dog is 13 yr old German Shepherd with open pyometra. Dr. gave her amoxicillan clavulate for two weeks, and it did not work. Pyometra came back full on. She has tumors, so I don't want to feed them sugar and make them grow with the honey. She also has slightly off kidney and liver results in her bloodwork due to her age. She is eating fine, playing and running daily. Well she eats less and I had to change her diet to canned grain fee food and some baby food for treats because she is being particular about her food now. She has always been of grain free blue buffalo salmon kibble. Unfortunately it has potato which turns into sugar so I took her off of it. She is more like a 9 year old.

My 8 year old female dog started to have open pyometra last february, she discharge a green slimy thing from her vagina. We went to the vet last month march 28 and the doctor said it is pyometra and she give me a lot of medicines including antibitioc and all of that cost ( including the checkup ) is already 2100 pesos. The doctor said we need to go back after 7 days for the follow up check up and that is today. I just got home from the vet, the antibiotic didn't work because she still discharge a lot but she is normal, she don't have fever and she has an appetite to eat but the doctor said that the only thing we can do is to have her on surgery, because the medicine didn't work. My heart was so broken I can't afford the surgery it cost 11,000 pesos. Will try this soon, I hope this will work. Love my dog so much, can't bear to see her suffering..

My 3 year old just finished her season and her lower mammary glands swelled up. I give her Red Raspberry Leaf powder when in season and this has prevented the swelling she got on her first season. Should I continue with the Red Raspberry powder for a time after her season and would this prevent the mammary swelling? Is she at higher risk for pyometra because of the mammary swelling?
