Listen to how these Brothers harmonies , this is the 70s and you had to be at the top of your game , because it was so much competition out their ............... smile
That song really takes me back, but some people really need to listen really well to the words of this song, i still see the same issues going on today, some women guilty of it too, just breaking that man's heart, just be careful with someones heart.
🙋🏾♀️ For you new generation or old generation who don’t know the history this soul train is the one it was still in Chicago before it moved to California two of my aunts used to dance on this so Trey before I was born I was born in 1963. this location of soul train (production location )WIC-TV Studios Chicago, Illinois from (1970 to 1971) also, in the end of 71 they moved Hollywood California also soul train sold to three different locations in Hollywood California from 71 to 81 .
The Persuaders vocals are absolutely beautiful from a Man's point of view. Chrissy Hyndes from the Pretenders vocals did a remake from a woman's point of view. Both are absolutely Beautiful! I could listen all day to both.
🙋🏾♀️ when we used to slow dance Don Cornelius children said he did not like the way they danced in California. He always complained about it because they danced different there in Chicago and if you notice here, so train still in Chicago look how we look not only that in Chicago we danced together down Cornelius children said he didn’t like the fact that in California they didn’t dance together they didn’t slow dance they didn’t stick they dance with each other but they was really dancing with themselves. I remember late in the 80s Don Cornelius had one of the Supremes on from Diana Ross and the Supremes. I forgot which one it wasn’t Diana Ross it was the one that the original supreme that wasn’t kicked out of the group Mary I think her name Mary with Wilson or something anyway she was a guess on soul train and she interviewed her because she was she she had her first hit out and down. Cornelius said to her very bold he didn’t like the way they dance there in California. He said it out of his mouth all night, kicking your legs up and stuff. He didn’t like that, but he said is the new generation that’s what they do, fun fact I’m looking to see if I see my two aunts because my two aunts used to dance on this soul train in the 70s.
The kids don’t get it nowadays, it was about holding your girl tight to you, not disrespecting her or degrading😉
Amen Amen and Amen
73, and totally agree. The 60's and 70's were baby makin music.

Me too, Jasmon.
@@imbees2 They don't make music like this anymore.
@@JasmonTPyes they do. There are new classics. Such as Leon Bridges - Coming Home. Or all of Thee Sacred Souls album.
The time when music was storytelling, natural, organic, soulful, came from deep inside; not today.
Amen Amen and Amen
True that! Check out this young one though, wrote lyrics to "Today's".aww our history is rich, give em' a chance😉
