Legend was always Acura, not Honda.

Nice review Brian. Very thorough. We could do without the background music when you're talking.

This is a pretty good review. I like how you put in a note regarding the noise mitigation for the rim design. In fact, that is an "Advance" package feature. I briefly sold the new 2014 Acura's before moving on into the I.T. Industry.
I, too, love driving a proper manual, but for a vehicle like this, it would simply be inelegant.
I'm actually looking into purchasing one of these in the next year or two as a CPO and actually started looking at what is new, currently, for the big 3 Japanese and the Big 3 Germans (BMW, Merc and Audi). And, honestly, the feature list, reliability, cost of maintenance and fuel economy/performance, there really isn't a comparison for the RLX Sport Hybrid AWD against the others. I would disagree regarding the styling. Now, the Black with ebony or parchment interior is a nice combo, but it is a bit conservative for my tastes. But, that's kind of the Acura moniker with it's flagship sedan.
As far as another comment below stating the decibel level of the audio over your voice is concerned, maybe kick it down a notch or two and it'll be perfect!
Actually, I can't remember if the rear seats are 60/40 split folding like in the traditional RLX P-AWS. Could you tell me that off-hand?
Should also be mindful of the battery vents that are cabin facing, below the rear seats. They should remain unobstructed so the batteries don't become too hot.
Great review and Long Live The Legend!

At 2.45 there are 6 buttons to the left of the steering wheel under the vent? What are they. All the RLX SH I've seen have just 4 with two blank buttons? What are they. Just curious because when I get my RLX I want to have all the bells and whistles!!! Lol!

Very informative and thoughtful review. I like what Acura has done design wise with the RLX, and you seem to have been only one of a handful of reviewers who recognize how polished the exterior design is.
I own the RLX FWD version with the P-AWS system, but after watching your review I kinda wish I could have gotten hold of this SH-AWD version.

all that technology must be quite costly if you have mechanical problems long term

Henry Pacheco the only thing you need to replace is the battery. it can cost up to 7-10 grand for the replacement battery from dealership.
after market battery will be fine as well and whole lot cheaper.

I own this car, and I am disappointed with the Navigation system. Not as intuitive as even a Garmin unit. Otherwise the car is super comfortable, quick and quiet.

I'm sick of all these misleading titles "RLX = the NSX 4 door" "Maxima = The GTR 4 door" stop trying to mislead consumer with all these stupid titles.
