With spring fast approaching, our day time temperatures are crisp but no longer cold and Rory and River have made the transition to the big house.
Although they are still in the bat room at night with a heater, R & R have settled in surprisingly well and can now bask in the warm winter sunshine all day long.

Until watching Mrs and Mr Batzilla's work, I never thought of bats having quite distinct personalities. Noodle mum is just gorgeous, I know humans just like her, though much less endearing.

We had a dog once , who was obsessed with a little plushy toy. She dragged that thing EVERYWHERE.And God forbid we tried to take and wash it. 🤭🤭 Reminds me so much of Noodle Mum 🤭🤭
They look so healthy, what an amazing achievement since they first came and were in the humidicrib. Great to see they have buddied up a bit for companionship and security. Love seeing all the bats enjoying the sunshine.

I grew up thinking bats were ugly, scary. TV, vampire movies, Halloween. Not my thing for sure! Then, I found this channel. Wow, I have a darling medium small dog whose face looks similar to these adorable bats! Thank you, your love for these beautiful animals brings tears to my eyes. ❤
