I played Nikke about 4 months ago but stopped due to the difficulty in dealing enough damage to complete content. I recently returned, got Asuka, and she carried me, which helped me progress and unlock more units and progress, she is great.
in my opinion you should not dropped nikke due to not being able to deal enough damage continuing the game would accumulate more resources you can halt your progress for campaign and focus on building strong characters
Welcome back! I suggest you don't stop playing anytime soon. The second anniversary is releasing in November and you will get a lot of goodies :)
Bro ngl for me it was Laplace, I came here for EVA collab and stayed as I met my over the top hero. (Sidenote: I got all 3 eva units with duos and Rouge)
For me it would be

2 Redhood
3 Laplace
4 Rapunzel
5 Small white
6 Liter
7 Bunny tiwns
First generation : liter, blanc, nior, modernia, scarlet
Second generation : liter, tia, naga, modernia, redhood
Current generation : liter, crown, b.scarlet, alice, naga.
I guess it would change after cinderella comes out.
SBS hands down for a f2p sub 2 month player.
Alice being my first MLB means I can continue pushing into more campaign (finished dragon mommy), while I'm stuck at 160 wall.
Rei.A/Asuka were pretty high for me too (throw in Alice - was pretty good for a long time). Keeping Rei.A in campaign for screen wipe, once SBS was pulled.
Crown definitely huge upgrade over my Marciana in most campaign missions.
- No Bunnies, Schoolgirls, RH, Modernia, < 50 total Nikkes (R/SR/SSR) on over 500 gold+silver pulls.
Shift up.... let me have modernia and SBS ....

@@piycogames yes, SBS has the highest damage potential, Modernia is the best MG, does a lot of damage without even bursting and is an important character
I got Liter, Crown, Naga, SBS, and Red Hood carrying me lately. Literally was not thinking about Crown, Red Hood, nor SBS when I got them, thinking at the time that they were just cool looking Units... boy, was I surprised to figure out I had the most meta Units in the game along with Naga and Liter.
Even though I don't need Modernia or Rapunzel at this point, I would love to see them pop up in my roster out of the blue some day.
I'm confused as to whether Alice would be a better replacement for Red Hood in that team, 'cause that's the comp I use for story. One one hand, Red Hood has more damage potential. But on the other, Alice considerably buffs ScarBS, elevating her to peak DPS.
I recently pulled Black Shadow Scarlet and she’s my 6th best, I’ve been considering sending Privaty to the glue factory if she surpasses her power level one day. I still don’t have Red Hood so Crown reigns supreme on my account for sure, she helped me beat the 160 wall.
I still remember getting Liter finally earlier this year, and I used the new year selector to get Blanc at the same time (already had Noir), I went from stage 2 or 3 something on train to like stage 7, such a massive powerup to my main team getting these 2 to fill it in (Pepper and Dolla were my best B1 and 2 at that point lol).
Red Hood was amazing too, I only played Nikke for a week or 2 at that point and was really lucky on like second multi I got her, I didn't even care about the damage not being there, for progression this character is the most insane, when you lose your burst 1, she can do her shenanigans and still get full burst off and win a stage that way and not having to restart the stage over again.
When I first started back in January it was Tove, the bunny girls, Modernia and Winter Ludmilla. Now it's Liter, Crown, Red, Laplace with her favorite item, and the last is my elemental unit.
Just opened a pilgrim mold. Got a Noah. I don’t have Dorothy, red hood nor sbs. But sure yea give me a fucking Noah.
Be thankful that you even got an SSR on the molds. 💀
1: Liter - Easiest meta to get
2: BS Scarlet - Had her since near the beginning, love her design and nukes the field.
3/4: Blanc and Noir - I did not have Naga or Tia so these two healing were my main duo
5: Red Hood - I got her pretty recently like a month and a half ago. Since I got her so late into the game, she’s here just because she is the best unit in the game.
Playing since Trony update.
My top 5 nikkes who helped me progress lot would be :
1. Crown ( my strongest support built up for now ).
2. Bunny Soda ( she helped me progress in campaign so much and I'll still keep using her ).
3. Red Hood ( no need to talk about her, she is just amazing Nikke ).
4 and 5. Bunny Alice/Dorothy ( my only good Burst 1 nikkes but I'm working on Rouge and Killer Wife currently ).

How effective characters are at carrying your team depends on their investment for some of them. Some units, like Red Hood, Crown, and Liter, can give huge boosts to your main squad without a lot of investment. Other units, like the bunny girls or school girls, require a lot more investment to get the same kind of advantage, especially in stages where you have a huge BP deficit.
When the game first started, Scarlet was a character I had super early but I didn't realize how good she was at the time. I later figured out how strong she was, and I used her with Liter to absolutely crush the Main Story campaign content, further accelerating my account progression. I've been clearly all Story content Day One from that point onwards, and easily at that.
Nowadays, my main team is generally Liter, Crown, Rapunzel (She's a lot better than Naga because of her faster Bust generation and higher healing, IMO... plus she can revive a unit if someone gets OHKO in Hard Mode), and I flex the two Burst 3 slots with Red Hood, SBS, Laplace, OG Scarlet, and Modernia, depending on the stage or weakness requirements.
Modernia, Scarlet, Dorothy, RedHood & Crown, those 5 have been key on my account.

I've had Blanc for a long time. Even though I got Noir waaay later I still had her on my main team because she is just the best healer in the game imo. After Blanc, now that I've enterned the late game and I invested quite some recources into Alice, she has been carrying me HARD. Killer wife was one of the first B1 characters that I pulled, so she's been with me the whole ride. I do have Liter but I gotta admit I have a bias towards D. I started playing Nikke when the Crown event aired and I didn't realize how lucky I was that I pulled her 3 times in that event. So she's also been with me the whole ride. And 5th place I think would go to Harran. Her screenwipe has saved me countless times, it's only the late game that I now switched her for Alice.
So for those that cba reading all that, here are my top 5:
1. Blanc
2. Alice
3. D: Killer Wife
4. Crown
5. Harran

Noir, Dorothy, Modernia, Asuka and Naga
To prove your point crown when u tried showcasing teams with quency without using crown the boss fights were kinda tough but with crown u could focus much more and explain calmly

I started with Volume, Centi, and Summer Anis. I'm just glad that Noir, Liter and Blanc came home before I hit any annoying walls 💀✊🏿
As for Dorothy, we're just not gonna get into that-
My personal Top 5 would be Modernia, Redhood, Crown, Tia&Naga, and Liter. Liter has carried me hard from day 1 till present day. She isn't part of my main team anymore, but she is 2nd to RH when I need her in support duty and RH has to switch being my Burst 3 main. As for Tia&Naga, got them both before the Bunny girls. They carried me hard on hard stages, and they are part of my main team. I would switch ranks between RH and Crown depending on the situation. Crown is the best solo support in the game, with Liter closely following behind. RH though can play any role and I usually make her Burst 1 rather than 3. Lastly, Modernia is one amazing nikke from the start till present day. Don't sleep on her attack prowess. She can end mobs in a heartbeat and she can take care of bosses with the right setup no problem. These are all what I think though xD

You made a video about what was most influential for you only to come up with the usual meta team. Well played.
Centi . Crown makes characters hit harder. Shields can block a single strike of infinite damage even if shield health is 1 hp. Emma and centi make the game easier when kamakazi bots an 1 shot.
Top 4 Picks in my Team is just Crown, Alice and SBS and Liter dunt have Red Hood but fairly sure if u manual i THINK alice is better.
