2024 and this is still banger, also heard it in the 90's when i was a teen. Loved it then and still do, especially the cool sounding steam industrial rhythm ❤.
I do miss the old infected mushroom. Far more melody, creativeness and psychedelic stimulation. Every track on classical mushroom has at least three melodies blending in and out of each other. That's how psychedelic trance works: A slow progression of constantly mutating melodies with a high tempo.
The guy that did the cover art for Classical Mushroom said the cover art is supposed to be an alien getting infected in the land of instrumental mushroom. The alien was being mind controlled and played out an infected tune on a mushroom flipped upside down. It was his final cry of help before he, like many others before him, was being turned into the strange mushroom creature standing behind him. I find this silly tale hauntingly beautiful. Reading it brought a tear to my eye. Those were the days when you really pour love into your work.
I will say this, these two have evolved from a style that most couldn't understand and didn't want to understand, at a time when Hard house, trance and jungle were running things. They became popular due to their ability to adapt to a crowd and a psyche. The keep their roots and allow themselves to grow in ways they have yet to understand. To me, that is the epitome of artist. I was the first to introduce their music to my friends, and while I garnered much hate at first, all is good now =)
I once was sitting in a bar sipping a beer and playing with my phone…. And an Infected Mushroom track started playing on the bar radio lmfao. I was very much like NO WAY. Brightened up my whole day 😍
I love the little subtleties that IM adds, like the occasional irregularity in that interesting rhythm noise, as well as well timed once-occurring changes in the tone of the music that happen on a single beat and give the music such life.
I've been listening to them for more than 10 years and you're crazy. They're newer stuff is just as well as any of their older stuff... kids these days!
Actually, this is the remix of the original Hallucinogen track by Infected Mushroom. It still needs to be corrected, but this isn't the Hallucinogen version.
Infected Mushroom are absolutely BRILLIANT, but the real credit for this track goes to Hallucinogen. He has two versions of this track, Gamma Goblins and Gamma Goblins II, and Infected Mushroom remixed Gamma Goblins II. Give it a listen, the original absolutely deserves to be heard.
i still think IM do psy-trance well, even their new albums are... trippy (if not heavily... melodic, then certainly through their use of sound in general) I've listened to both their old and new stuff, and there moving forward, like most genres, but they've kept that individuality which is great! i agree with both you and flying :)
well, I can say that IM are my fav group for sure, their new and old stuff are both brutal, but I pref their old stuff, like trabladorr said, their old stuff had more psychedelic stimulation that I love it!
C'est dingue, a chaque fois que j'ecoute chacune de leur musique je me dit : " 'Tain celle ci c'est la meilleur ? " . Mais en faite c'est toutes des Meilleurs :)
It's not an infected mushroom track, it's their remix. The original is by Hallucinogen. Though they definitly did a nice job remixing it. Sounds more like "The Gathering" (which I find quite good)
@flyingcarrot2000 flame wars aside, infected pre-IM the supervisor is a totally different sound and style of music than the 'new' infected. I personally like both, but the former expresses more greatness than the latter.
there is no old infected mushroom... every track is new to your fucking consciousness in this very second, stop thinking and start feeling the music, which is fucking amazing
Bunnykill 3 was where I first heard this great track.
Me too
So true
One of IM's best hidden gems. Love how the rhythm sounds like a rattle snake.
I couldn't agree more!

2000s
Rolled so hard to this song back in the day
Waaayyy back!
Haha me too. Many of moons ago
Goals
Me too man. Holy fuck I miss the days when electronic music was this hardcore.
That's actually where I first heard this song.

War
I agree

Bunnykill was here.
Agreed

How have I never heard this one?! I thought I've abused all their tracks. Life is full of surprises :)
and one of their top tracks as well
It's up there for sure, but I think Symphonatic is their best track :P
It’s not their track. It is hallucinogens
But it's a sweet track anyway
..
@@dadmoo12 This one or Symphonatic?
Love this vibe!!!!
This song will always be super nostalgic thanks to Bunny Kill 3
Yep...reminds me of the old Napster days when 1/2 of the songs were mislabeled.

11 years later, this comment is still valid!
It never really gets anywhere... I was expecting a massive drop!
@flyingcarrot2000 I agree, I see no comparison between the "new" infected mushroom and pop, they still produce amazing tracks.
This track got me into Psytrance and is the main reason why I'm producing Psy today.
Nice version of a Hallucinogen track....I think the most remixed track in the genre :P
both of u are right! I prefer old IM's style, but i still love IM and they still are my favourite group ever and 4ever!
the cows are freakin me out!!!
😂
i'm totally addicted to infected mushroom hope they make more music man love it !!! wooop
You're absolutely right. I've overcome that ignorance now.
I love those crazy musics by Infected Mushroom.
It makes me crazy when I am high.
once...I got high with this awesome song...believe or not I heard lyrics for it..can't remember what they were..but they fit perfectly...........
i remember we used to robotrip to this back in high school.....those were the days
Original track by Hallucinogen...

Hehe agree with you there, how is this NOT Infected Mushroom !?
happy anniversary
I always Mr. Game and Watch when listening to this.
+Markys112 Picture him... but I guess him in general too, movements and all.
That's right! This one is from their album 'My Mummy Said'.
well, I can say that IM are my fav group for sure, their new and old stuff are both brutal, but I pref their old stuff, like trabladorr said, their old stuff had more psychedelic stimulation that I love it!
Good music ...
this has got to be one of my top five favorite techno songs. it is GENIUS. it reminds of the helghasts from killzone for some reason though lol
C'est dingue, a chaque fois que j'ecoute chacune de leur musique je me dit : " 'Tain celle ci c'est la meilleur ? " .

Me when i'm a bunny sent to destroy a base in the moon for money:

They do, t'iz fiiine 😁
Old skool..makes your feet tick!
there is no old infected mushroom... every track is new to your fucking consciousness in this very second, stop thinking and start feeling the music, which is fucking amazing
Seriously, guys, it's just a different interpretation of Hallucinogen's song. It's not a competition.
i have it on minidisc from that times. i'm dj (sometimes)
VERY TRUE MATE
Hell yeah 🤣🤣🤙🏾
@PiromancerFreak this is the best version.
Infected Mushroom does make some new "Popier" song, but among every new album there is a lot of great track that doesn't have that pop sound to it.
This is an headshot.
Oh, I always assumed it was the other way around haha
From dagoba, it is..
the original track is from Hallucinogen - Gamma Goblins!!! this is a remix
14 years
ott's version on in dub is the best imo
there we go for a psychology lesson.but anyways u right my friend :p..
Изначальная музыка. Как и горловое пение.
❤
Good Times... Am old now... But l wasn't...
This would be crazy good for a Terraria boss track or an extreme evil biome like the zombie infected fungal forest or something
Check out the GMS remix. It's amazing
infact, this infected remix is a remake of simon's part two of gamma goblins.
0:58 lol
i still remember this coment five years later.
Getting Bunnykill vibes from this
Me too man , me too
I like trains
I like turtles....
Still klassisk dude
Cubensis!
Sounds a lot like the soundtrack to that old Descent game.
What a catch... you are right. Anyway that game has a pretty descent OST, still love it :-)

They were my favorite band before they got infected with money or something else. Old infected mushroom songs were much much better like this one
Bunykill 3 part 2? This is were that music is from. Figures.
@stolichnayapriest nothin wrong with being popular, they are still good.
lol this song is used in bunnykill
