- What's better than Minnie Mouse ears? Miniature Minnie Mouse ears! It's super simple and easy to make your own DIY version of mini ears to use as a keychain or ornament! I show a no-sew method in addition to a full-sew method for how to make these. There's so many ways you can be creative with these designs!
Supplies:
- Shower Curtain Rings (Kenney Brand) | www.biglots.co...
- Precision Fine Tip Hot Glue Gun | www.amazon.com...
- Keychain Set | www.amazon.com...
- 6 mm or 1/4" ribbon
- Thin cardboard or craft foam (depending on method)
- Fiberfill
- Trim embellishments
Measurements:
- Headband | 17 x 2.25 cm
- Ear base | 4 cm diameter
- Bow | 11 x 8 cm and 1.75 x 5 cm
- Sewn ear | 4.4 cm diameter

Can you do a printable template for the ears?
I love these! I actually make little Minnie ear key chains or ears for dolls but I usually make the headband out of worbla, I’ve never thought of using shower rings! That’s such a good idea!

Hi Emily. What a great idea to use the shower curtain rings. They worked perfectly. The ear ornaments and key chains are so cute. I really like how your sewed ears look. I can't sew too well and would never do it with ears, in fear of getting frustrated or messing them up. For now I will stick with the glue, but maybe one day. Thanks for sharing this. ~Ali 🎀🏰💖

How do you not burn yourself?? Every time i use a glue gun i burn myself so i stopped using one
Part of it is practice and knowing what and when you can touch things (also low-temp glue guns are very helpful!)
