Hey Ean! I took my car to two tire places they said they couldn't get two of the lug nuts off because they were stripped. They referred me to another place to drill them out. I called them, they said it would $170 per hour and they had no idea how many hours it would take but assured me it would cost a lot and I would have to leave it for the day. I bought the above kit for $22, hopefully you got the affiliate. I've been stressing a bit to try it, I've got some nice HRE wheels that I don't want to damage, but finally did it this morning. The kit worked like a champ though. Tapped it on, put a large socket on, there was just enough clearance to get on there, then connected that to breaker bar through an extension. Not sure who the a-hole is who put the bolts on was but they were on super tight, I had to stand on the breaker bar to get one to move. Getting the ruined bolts out of the extractor was as easy as tapping them on the concrete floor. Probably saved $400 to $700 total, depending on how much the shop wanted to gouge me for it. It only took 20 minutes for both bolts and I didn't have to pay for transportation across town by leaving it at the shop. Thanks!

I cant get the extractor to stay on. I hammer it on as much as I can and when I apply a lot of torque, it slips.

I got the same set. I hammered it on gentley and tightly. Many attempts.
It always slips off and round the bolt. Ive gone doen to 16mm and it still just rounded it off.

I tried using a extractor and I hammered it in to get that tight fit and when I tried removing the lugnut I broke 4 sockets and broke 2 of my wrenches now my extractor is stuck on my stripped lugnut , thinking of just drilling out all the way

You need to use a six sided socket not a 12 sided socket that ships bolt heads.
