- This wash and go really serves it purpose, it had definition. Both products performed differently one was smooth to apply one was loose but in the end both to me performed equally with definition. I do prefer one over the other based on certain factors as mentioned in the video.
If you are someone like myself that the smell of a product determines whether you purchase I strongly recommend you get your products from a retailer you can return or go in store and smell the product if you can.

Yes it gives great results, but I prefer the application and 100% the smell of mousse def.
The mousse def is a one and done for me. When applied on damp hair, my wash and go lasts for 7 days without having to re - apply or retouch up anything. I am a lazy natural and mum of 3 under 5 y.o, so I gotta be fast and efficient and still look pretty 😊
I was hesitant to try the crazy sexy curls for a while, now after you mentionned that it is runny, I will skip this one as I like the texture of the mousse def and the hold that I get from it. Thank you for your video. (New suscriber from switzerland)
I have retired the mousse to my sister 🫣, she isn’t bothered by how it smells, I just literally ran out of my mousse def and repurchased yesterday.
I tried my mousse on damp hair and I like it a lot more but my curl specialist recommend I use a leave in or UFD underneath. Yes the original I 100% prefer. I do think if I was to use it again I would do it on damp hair because it would apply better. I just cannot stand the smell! Even though it was runny it held up just the same as mousse def.

@@disneytoysr4fun975 yes just the mousse. I shampoo, condition, let my hair air dry in bantu knots until it is damp and apply mousse def. Smooth and rake it section by section, sit under the hooded dryer and voilà.
At night, i will tie up a silk scarf to sleep and in the morning, remove the scarf after I am dressed and shape my hair.
I think that several factors might play in my favor:
1. My strands are fine to medium
2. My hydration level seems pretty good (to be confirmered by a stylist when I get the time and chance to visit one 😊)
3. The summer weather has been nice so far : it is very hot but neither too dry nor too humid.
Fingers crossed that I can keep this routine during the autumn and winter .

I enjoyed the bed girl the closer to dryer with mousse the more molding you get . By adding big amounts it's like starting over . For me what I learned today..
A little goes a long way. I haven't tried this one but my hair looooooves Mousse Def.❤❤

I LOVE the Crazy Sexy Curl. It is a wonderful detangler as it claims to be. The instructions read, apply to wet hair. I hope you will try the products again.
Hey Beth, I have used it many times after this application. Also my hair was wet, if you are familiar with UFD application it holds the water. I don’t suffer from major scents sensitive but I cannot handle strong scents whether it’s perfume, lotion ,hair products etc. and I try to share so other’s that do suffer from scent sensitive can have a heads up before purchasing.I just don’t like how runny it is and they have made mousse Def (the new one I purchased is the same consistency as 🐝 girl). It is a great product as in my salon CIK appointment you can see how it held up. When I came from under the dryer I shared my results. The product performed but the smell and the consistency I didn’t love. It’s a great product and thank you for watching!

Great results, as usual. I'm going to pass on the new mousse. Mousse Def is my go to for wash and gos. I still want to try the new gel. I just haven't found the line on the ground in my area☹️. I really don't feel pressed enough to order it online.

Hey great video. Now I love both products. I agree with the smell of the honey, but it's no where near as bad as how pop lock smells. I actually started using the honey foam for my daughter's twists and I love it. Because it doesn't leave that weird residue sometimes the MD can. Will need to try it as a topper to compare. But the honey foam did have more hang time and it is more moisturizing then MD

@@rosieamelia5955 yes I always use a leave in. I find the foams can be a bit drying if not. Also helps when working through the sections
I find it drying myself, and my CIK stylist told me to use Mousse Def with a leave in on my hair.

It was during the colder weather when I started trying out mousse/ foam as toppers.
The true test would be to use as directions state without the UFD. It is a one and done product. The smell doesn’t linger.
I have used mousse def before alone and it only lasted 3 days! My stylist told me not to use it alone because it’s not hydrating enough! Also I know stylist with silkier surface texture that tells you they won’t use it alone ! Based on what I am looking for I will always use leave in underneath! That’s my preference , And for me personally I don’t like the smell ! I think I mentioned that the smell goes away! I would love to watch your experience if you do decide to give it a test and share it on this platform! It’s nice to see different feedback!

ive tried both of them. I sooo hate the crazy sexy curl mousse smell and applicate but it did define my curls. If i stop using it all together it will be bcuz of the smell. It smell like pee. to me. Mousse def is a very good product and has a better pump. thanks for the video.
Same here the smell and the consistency is the reason not the performance, otherwise it’s a great mousse

I thought it was just me too. I am very sensitive to scents and I know there are others out there like myself. If someone isn’t the product works perfectly in hold and definition.

How come the back is more shrunken than the front..?
That’s just the nature of my hair the back always shrinks up (curls are tighter back there). That’s why I get my hair shaped by getting curly cuts. Most people will stretch their hair by banding it or using heat.
Well you are putting to much in your hand
Could be, but I stand by it’s runny and doesn’t have the best fragrance but it performed amazing. Now the Doux mousse def ( new one I purchased is just as runny).
Personally, it's too stiff for me.
