- This is my second time using this custard and both times it hasn’t disappoint. The first time I used it was with Ufd underneath. A small amount goes a long way. This is a temporary use of product, I do have a set of products I use. My sister and I will use it up together.

Awesome video! 🙌 I love to see your wash snd go's. If you use Bee Girl gel alone, you will get a more defined look.💕 Trust me, I have four 4c hair and this gel has a strong hold by itself. I tried to use it with other products but that does it no justice. It's way better if you just use the Gel Alone at least I found that out with experience using it 😅 lol. Even the the creator of bee girl says that same thing.
I know it has strong hold. The first time I used it I did a test section 😁! At first when I started out with wash and go, I was going for hold (strong), nowadays sometimes I want soft and fluffy I am still trying to navigate how to perfect that. But yes it definitely has strong hold when used alone 👌🏽. Thank you for watching

@@rosieamelia5955 I'll see how it works out. I plan to use tons of water. I'm definitely not one of those who chases definition over hydration. I never understood that mentality.
Even with UFD under it had a very strong Hold even being outside in very high humidity on day 3, also I used a very small amount. If you are unsure you can always do a test section on a small part of your hair. Please share what you think when you try it
@@rosieamelia5955 Did your hair hold up in humidity? Can it be used for a twist out? I have not perfected the WNG. Twist out’s are simpler for me.

Your hair looks great. I'm going to try the gel alone whenever I can find it on the ground. I'm not a fan of fluffy wash and gos on me. My hair just doesn't hold up.
I like them sometimes 😁! I have no idea what is wrong with me and wanting soft recently. I think after Keyla did it on my hair I am in love with the look but yes I get around 4 good days 😁!

Hi Rosie, I just recently tried this custard after purchasing it during a target sale. It was 20% off and thought why not try it lol . I tried it with two mousses: the ag care cloud air light volumizing mousse and innersense I create lift volumizing mousse. I tried ag care as both a base and topper and neither combos helped with the crunch the custard gave me. The smell also made me nauseous and I barely had any slip.
After the two horrible experiences with the mousse, I returned it and purchased innersense mousse instead since it was around the same price and had a little bit more product. I’ve been using it as a topper and honestly I’m in love with the results. The smell isn’t bad at all and has better slip than ag care. I still have some crunch but not as bad as before and barely any flaking

I still have the custard I am planning on using it for my wash and go when I go for my silk press , also because she will clarify my hair. I love using it with Uncle Funky . The ag cloud 🫣still have not used it but will soon. I love that you were able to troubleshoot and styled your hair for your desired result! And yes that custard has a lot of crunch.
@@rosieamelia5955 Thank you, school is great actually haven’t had time for much UA-cam though lol. I had to watch a lot of UA-cam videos about the custard to make it work with my combo. Using a lot of water and heat (I usually air dry) seemed to help loosen the hold. I hope you like ag cloud when you use it in the future and looking forward to you using the custard again if you post a video about it

Rosie, I just tried the custard by itself. My hair has NEVER been this defined. This is the best result I have ever achieved. However, my hair is beyond crunchy. I also did not like how the product felt during the application process.
I am going to give it a try again closer to clarifying my hair. It’s an excellent styler ! I am happy your styling results were favorable. Yes I remember even with UFD curly magic it was crunchy but I enjoyed how it progressed over time.
Would you please try this custard again but by itself and with your regular drying methods. I don’t think the custard gets to really shine in this video. I and others im sure would love to see it used again 😊
I definitely am planning on doing another video using it! I used it quite a bit off camera since I don’t record every week! I have about one use left and I will record when I use it in my routine !
Hello! I know this video has been up for a while but I've noticed that the product has PVP and I was wondering what your stylist thinks of it for regular use. Thank you in advance.
I never asked my stylist about using this product. The product is produced by a stylist. I tried the styler but it’s not a regular part of my styling routine. I mostly use my botanical gels. You can reach out to the Doux stylist that created this product on her instagram and ask her about what PVP overtime would do! I honestly don’t know much about the effects overtime. That’s a question I will ask at my next appointment though.
