I know he said he's older than he looks but tell Paul the Taco Bell senior discount (if he can find a location that does it) is 65. So, he's not there yet. First time I walked into a McDonald's and asked for a coffee to go, the young lady replied, "one senior coffee". Somewhat taken aback, I asked how old one had to be for a senior coffee. She told me, to which I replied, "one senior coffee it is". Happy Birthday, and many more.

Happy birthday! I would sing the Happy Birthday song but I might break something.
In most case the first thing people ask about my car is how fast does it go. What I say back to them is “-you should ask how well does it stop.?” I answer would be great! You’re right about the brakes being a system. Every component has to be right or it will not perform as designed.

Be careful and check your state's DMV website, some states don't allow restored YOM plates, they have to retain their original finish.

Hi Model T and Happy Birthday Paul. I can understand the pain of a kidney stone, double ouch! Great pointer on the brake pad similarity, I have had that issue on other vehicles, which was a lot newer than the Model A's. Lot's of great advice on this one, thanks Paul for your experience and thank you Model T for giving up your time to answer all these great questions. I discovered your channel about a year or so ago. Enjoy it immensely. Have an American built 30 Tudor in chickle and Copra and a 30 Cdn. built standard roadster in restoration. Really enjoy your question and answer vids. I like Model As as Henry built them. Some modern mods. are ok like the overdrives , seal on the steering (Pitman Shaft ). I agree with 6V system and original point and condenser. No modern points and condenser for me. Put the 40:41 m in the modern car they came out of not in an A.

Possible "trick" for using YOM plates. Ask for personalized plates ( same #'s as YOM") .
