- In todays video I’m going to hopefully WOW you with this tour through Mark & his lovely wife’s 1950’s home, yes, it’s as if you stepped into a 50’s time capsule, me & @ModelA were blown away!
This was part of the tour that the awesome people at the CCRG Jamboree put on, we were lucky enough to miss the big tour crowd which made making video much easier, but there’s so much to capture, I can’t even do it the justice it deserves, it was really hard to believe that people actually live in this house full time!
Yep, even had Lucky Strikes cigarettes on the coffee table!
And the “walk in closet” that’s in the ladies sewing/ craft room, it will blow your mind!
Awesome classic vehicles including Ford Model A’s and cool garages…so much to see!!! - Авто та транспорт
Growing up in that house will always be my greatest privilege ❤️
Oh wow, you grew up in this 50’s house?!
Oh; that ‘59 El Camino! ‘59
Chevys are amongst my favorite cars! Dream house!
All I can say is wow! Thanks for the trip back in time.
Wow Tina! Does this ever bring back memories of our childhood. What a treasure! Thanks for sharing.

Mid Century Modern perfection. Thank you for the tour!
Every man's dream garage

Thanks for the retrograde trip to the fabulous fifties.
Now set the time circuits in the DeLorean for our time zone and hit 88 mph!

really cool, indeed! Thanks (all) for sharing ... top!
Wow, that place was awesome, thanks so much for sharing!
The house I grew up in was built in the 1940s, my parents left farming and ranching in Texas and moved to California in 1958, the house inside looked a lot like this home. The first car I remember was my Dad's 1957 Chevy and the only new car he ever owned was a 1967 Ford Fairlane. My Dad never used credit, everything was cash. You didn't throw things away you fixed them when I was a kid.
My father flew 52 missions in WWII B17 bombers. One of his B17 pilots was Cal Worthington of Worthington Ford in Long Beach, CA.
My mother's family in Texas knew Bonnie and Clyde, Clyde loved Ford V8 cars. They stayed at one of her relative's homes for a few days while on the run from the law.
Thanks for the tour, Mike
Boy o boy was that was a cool share! Dang, Bonnie & Clide!
During the great depression, the farmers in Texas and many other places hated the banks for not doing more to help them keep their farms and ranches, so they looked at Bonnie and Clyde as the good guys for getting back at the banks.
My great-grandparents hated President Lincoln, dam Yankees, lol. 🤣🤣🤣 @@Modeltshinn
@@Go4Corvette it’s so cool to hear how people really felt about things back then! Thanks!
You really got an awesome treat there with that home from the 50's. My wife and I had some bedroom furniture from that era a few years back, but we didn't keep them. Having been born in the 50's, I can remember some of those items, nice. Thanks Model T for the fun adventure. I hope you and Paul have a wonderfully blessed weekend!
Thank you for sharing Dan, have a blessed day and weekend!!
Thank you for a wonderful and remarkable tour. The 59 El Camino is amazing. I will speculate that the Model A in the garage is a very early mild custom. Homemade by someone on a budget who also needed a useful daily driver. Your joy in Model As and happiness in life in general comes right through in your videos. Thanks
Thank you 💗
That is amazing! Too bad it wasn't on my tour. It was great finally meeting you two at CCRG. I hope our paths cross again soon. Take care!
Awe I wish you had been on that one! Super fun seeing you, I’m sure our paths will cross again!
The sound effects in the Tiki room were amazing!
Thanks for sharing, Friends!!
Tina and Paul a hello from bogota Colombia where we are at this moment but we are pending of you both. My goodness what a nice home is that and all in perfect place being the 50’s . So much item I remember my mother also had in her home and Rotan chairs and couch completely the same, the fridge no, this visit to this home brought back soo much memories.
Great topic for this UA-cam. You both have great spirit to be able to have every week such a great and cool UA-cam stories.
We enjoyed it in our hotel room, as hmmmmmm we can’t live anymore without the Shinn family😀😘🙏🙋take care and god bless!
Such a fun share, thank you 💕💗 God bless your travels ♥️🙏
the cars were nice.... the house was cool.... the tiki bar is AWESOME!
Yes! It was that order for me too! I didn’t want to leave the tiki room!
Wow!!! That was sooo cool!!!
If "less is more" is a principle that emerges from the idea that simplicity and clarity lead to good design.
Then this is more is more! Love the early appliances thicker metal designed to last like the Ford model-A
You need a full-time staff to dust all the furniture and knickknacks.
Yes definitely! Things were totally built to last back then…they are retired, they have time 😍
Have a great day and weekend!
Wow...We had a washer and dryer exactly like that.....Cool!!!
Wow!
So cool! Thanks for filming and posting!
Thanks 💗

There is an Antique Mall on Madison Ave in Sacramento that has furniture, appliances, items from the 50s - looks like the things in the house!
Oh wow, I didn’t know about that!
Midway Antique Mall was at 5130 Madison Ave and says Owner retired and mall closed - bummer!
@@k6aaq64 that is a bummer!
Pastel colors.
More pastel.
