I just completed this painting with your fantastic, easy to follow instructions. It was clearly my best work yet. I'm a no-talent mediocre painter, but I paint up a storm. Landscapes seem to be the hardest for me. I am so proud of this painting. Thanks Charles, you have made my day!! You are an excellent teacher. I am ordering your stuff as soon as I figure out how. (I'm not too good on the computer either) Thanks again!

I (an 84 yr.old expat checking in from Switzerland ) just discovered your site, and are you a God-send! Santa Claus was so kind to me, brushes ‘n watercolours ‘n paper, and then you turn up. Could n’t have wished for a more ‘intuitively’ patient teacher. Already follow drawing tutorials online.Just one request, could you date your online videos, even just vocally. Hope to get your books soon. Thank you and to whoever is holding the camera.

People stating they have difficulty hearing you and understanding you, I don’t as I am a Northerner I have suggested they put subtitles on top right corner of Videos maybe you need to remind them I don’t think some people know they are there.Thank you for another wonderful tutorial.
You know what I will be doing tomorrow, today is Baking Day.

Yes, but at the end of the day it’s not my job to tell them how to operate the videos. I know precious little about technology! All I do is do the paintings, think that’s enough. Pleased you enjoyed it.

I am an aspiring watercolor artist. I have crafted with fabric, wood, metal, paper, reuse furniture pieces. This has always been a dream of mine and I ordered paint, brushes and paper 3 weeks ago and have been watching a variety of artists. In my notes I have put a big star and exclamation mark next to your name. This indicates my excitement and intention to try your style. I am going to watch your videos until I drop. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your tips and tricks. I must get your book. Awesome.

I have been watching your videos and I’m inspired to give watercolor a try, which I have wanted to do for years. I notice you said you painted this with Winsor & Newton. More recent videos you use have been using the Aquafine paints. I just ordered the Aquafine so I will give this one a try with those. I forgot to order the Sand though!

No matter what i do the clouds technique wont work for me. I have the exact same equipment you use. Either i only move the color around or i get sharp unnatural edges. But never the sift cloudy look you get. When is the right moment? Right after the color is on the paper, or later? Thx alot. I really enjoy your tutorials.
