"Is this gonna turn into 50 Shades of Gray?" I mean, going by Luke and Andy's experience with the sex bed in the OG 90's version of 7th Guest... probably.
i was kinda stand offish on VR due to lack of support from big studios but your regular VR corner convinced me to give it a go. You're always finding things to play and have fun with it. Been having a blast with the family messing about with Quest 3.
My only experience with the original game comes from the the OXboxtra FMV vid, but this looks amazing! Huge props to Exkee studio- redesigning the quite often moon logic puzzles from the 90s to work in VR sounds like a tall order, but it looks like they somehow managed it:)
7th Guest was my interdiction to gaming! I love this game: the story, the music, the atmosphere, the puzzles… This remake looked beautiful and holds holds true to the original game. For us that can do VR (motions sickness and all) I hope we get to see more of your play!
I remember playing this so long ago...I definitely wanna look into this one, once I can get a VR headset... And work through the vertigo... Cheers, Ian!
Oh man, I played the original at university (yeah I’m old) and still have the soundtrack on CD. I absolutely love that so many of my teenage favourites re coming to VR.
Love this game (first game on CD) and thrilled to see it in VR -- it's the third reason for me to get a VR headset (Myst VR and Duke 3D VR being the first two🙂) I'm also happy that they kept the FMV -- with new actors, rather than either trying to rework the original FMV (which was necessary for Myst VR, for example) or replacing the live actors with 3D models (🤢). But what I truly miss is the original Fat Man (George A. Sanger) music, which was such a highlight of the original game that the original CD had the soundtrack as a separate CD (Mac) or CD track (Windows) that you could just play. I did hear the theme at one point, but I definitely missed the theme for Julia Heine's room ("Skeletons In My Closet") and even the one for the cake puzzle in the Dining Room. I hope that this was an effect of "Streamer Mode" (pretty sure that the original music is copyrighted), so that it could not be played in the video, but that it is included in the game🤞🏾. It was a good VR Corner, though🙂
Hi Ian! The controller issue you had at the start, I’ve been having the same issue with Beat Saber. Both controllers will connect and work in home menu but one (or both) will disconnect in game. Only been an issue since latest PSVR2 update, maybe it’s the software update? If anyone else had has this issue, I would love to know that it’s not just me!

this is the perfect type of game for VR

5:05 my brain autocompleted that to "and filled his house with chintz." Now, Ian, to keep it real... 😆

This was more fun to watch than I thought, I was worried I would feel nauseated but nope. Good stuff, Ian!
It does feel appropriate that this is VR, but given my soft spot for the original and general lack of funds I do hope they make a non-VR version.

Loved this game. Great to see it again !
I watched this video using Big Screen on the Quest 3, it was quite an experience... in a good way!
Really enjoying this on PSVR2. it looks fantastic. I am stuck though at the moment though so need to get my thinking cap on.
