I’m in California; I’ve used mine in the dunes when going over really soft sand and when snow wheeling in deep powder. I will say on their own there’s not a 100% chance they’ll get you out, but when combined with a kinetic rope they work really well.
I went wheeling and the MaxxTrax (any traction board) is worth its weight in gold and they’re surprisingly heavy. Got us out of some ruts and over some rocks.
Yeah I’m thinking these will work well on ruts and also on muddy inclines. I haven’t needed them yet in flat Florida, but I keep them on standby just in case.
Thanks for sharing. I always wondered if traction boards were for real or just for looks. To change subject; I have been looking for some cross bars to attach to my 2008 gx470. If you ever come across some that would fit, I would appreciate a shout out. Thanks!!
Glad to see your still posting consistently!
Thanks Caleb! Yep, still trying to stay consistent with the videos even though life is busy (especially this time of year). Thanks for the support!
Thanks for the video. Loved the low overhead camera angle. Super cool. Have fun at SEMA and looking forward to the brake job video.
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Can’t wait for SEMA! (I just arrived!)
I’m also digging the new camera angles and very excited for the brake upgrade!

Thanks for your feedback JP! I’m planning to keep testing with them and find ways to utilize them.

I’ll certainly shout out if I see any crossbars. I assume you mean that fit the factory roof rack?
@@Awesomoto yes, that's right.
Have you had any issues with your traction boards? Would you recommend this particular brand?
I haven't had any issues and still would recommend these.
