Nice job! I was just down there two days ago from Morrison. I laughed because you walked right by the trail split to Island Lake at the 7:08 mark. I know because I camped 100 yds past that junction and stashed my bear canister on the hill at the trail split. Like you, I didn't realize that was the way to Island Lake so the next morning I headed directly up to Ice Lake, then to Island Lake, and returned the same way you did (to that junction). Thanks for the video...wish I had seen it BEFORE I went. 🙂
Nice video, the lakes are beautiful , we came back last week from Colorado did lot of driving, hiking lakes and water falls it was amazing , peace be upon you. (Asalamoalekum)
Great videos young ladies. Really have enjoyed them. We lived in Evergreen, Co actually above the town near 8,000 ft from 1984-1990. Wish I had taken more time to explore and hike. A few years ago we hiked Harney Peak in the Black Hills. If you are looking for a road trip I would suggest giving that a try. New subscriber by the way.
Hi Bill! Thank you for watching. Wow, I bet that was a gorgeous area to live in. I will look into Harney Peak, thanks for the suggestion! We are thankful for your support. ❤️
Good job ladies! I've hiked this trail a couple of times now and made two videos on it. I can't believe you drove all the way back to Centennial after the hike. It's a great place to camp. New subscriber!
Hi Nature Girl!! It was a complete adventure. We will think about hiking next time because the San Juan are just beautiful... can’t imagine waking up to them! Thanks for the sub! We will absolutely check out your videos.
Hello! I am not sure about ice in October BUT I suggest downloading the AllTrail app. You can search hikes and see recent reviews. People will mention the trail conditions on their reviews!
