the star wars community has always been toxic and pathetic, the prequel hate was insane and now it´s the acolyte hate. disney also messed up big time with the sequel movies, even the more sane and nice star wars fans will have bad feelings towards any new star wars disney projects. the acolyte don´t deserve all the hate, personally i really liked it
Hopefully the break will help her understand what did and didn't work with season 1 and help her refine season two to make up for the shortcomings of the first season.
Or count Acolyte as non canon and then have someone else make Acolyte or maybe have someone else direct season 2 forgetting about what happened in season 1

In fact it is not even charting in the top 10 of even the originals subcategory. You see for the premier "critics" trying to promote a show may trick some people into watching this crap, but that doesn't mean they will stick around and guess what? They haven't! Now, why would you be presenting older data when there's new data available that tell a whole different story ? Are we to assume you are unaware or that or that you are for some other reason running a misinformation campaign to support the show ?

People shouldn't write off a 2nd season of The Acolyte as a bad thing. The creators and actors of the show where very inexperianced when it came to Season 1 and histroy has shown that they can improve alot on later projects. A case I think to in recent time is the TV series based on the Alex Rider books, Alex's caretaker was played by a woman who I thought was absolutly rubbish in season 1 (with an lifeless performance), however I was genuanly suprised with how much better she was in season 2 with some experiance under her belt. I think a season 2 could be way better with the cast and crew more experianced since the first season.

I really wanted the last episode to bring it together, but no, it was terrible. Nothing about that story made me care about a second season. The only somewhat interesting characters were discarded leaving the main character by herself. And then, they tried to put plaguis in the last episode as a teaser to try and garner any interest in a second season.

Disney is intent on killing the Star Wars franchise. The writing is so epic bad. Acting was ok to shite. Sol was good. Qimir whining about how he needs an apprentice turned me off and almost stopped watching. So much potential but it just sucked. I will say fight scenes were pretty good. Scrap it and tell everyone you were just kidding.. You know multiverse it style. Delete and start over in the vein of Andor. So good.

The 1st season was garbage. It's not the gayness, as Leslie herself put it. It's literally Everything Else. Except camera crew and special effects. It's poorly written, poor plotting and subplots. Poor script. Everything. I could've done better with some cosplayers and a Jr high school drama club. I am 100% serious here. I never watched the acolyte but I am glad it’s not getting a season 2, that money needs to be placed towards better projects.
