Disabled from Facebook & Instagram after 10 years!

- Little storytime of where my Instagram and Facebook accounts have gone! I was hacked last week on my private Facebook account and Facebook (Meta) has disabled my Facebook business accounts along with my Instagram. At this time I have been unsuccessful getting them back despite having all the security options in place!
If I do start another Instagram in 2022 Ill post the link in the comments but currently still kinda disappointed in the platform as a whole and not quite ready to start putting time and effort into it.

Great channel! Had the same experience and I’ve been in the IT industry for 40 years, which I agree is super annoying. BTW, you could always say “the person who dies with the most toys wins”; works for both 👌 And I’m glad your dad was like that, so was I and my kids loved it 😂😂😂

That sucks about your accounts. I’m hearing ya about the memories, I’m defo not on the scale you are, but like your said, it’s nice to have instant access to photos, videos, memories etc. In regards to your shirts, what about “they who die……” you get he drift ha. That way it includes everyone :) Food for thought, Good luck with the retrieval of your accounts :)

Weird, I had exactly the same thing happen to me last week. Still locked out of facebook but my linked insta account is still up. Also had a few charges to my bank from facebook but have never linked a card to my account, the hackers are getting better
WOW, so interesting, the same thing has happened to me this week, while i am not directly earning money from social i am a local body politician and do rely on social to a large degree to engage with my community. so it equally hurts and inhibits me from doing my job. It feels pretty helpless, when you can only lodge a review with no ability to speak or inform the review and no timeframe or even certainty that it will be reviewed.
Yeah that's it hey, I'm also grateful I don't rely on mine for income what's a scary prospect to suddenly have no platform for work with noone to help. It certainly is frustrating

I know that feeling. I use three authentication. I've never trusted those platforms even this one. And always backed up my data to Drive. At least its saved remotely and not the Hach drive.

Wondered where your Insta went - how annoying for you! Re: the T-shirt script on the back. I reckon two types OR, if having two variations is too much of a pain, perhaps a ‘catch all’ could work, like “Whoever dies with…”, “The one who dies with…”, “The one that dies with…” . It might mess with your layout a bit. The one you showed looked cool.

Hey Danie. I'm sure you've probably done it but make sure to change your passwords on your other accounts. It happened to me quite a few year's ago. It's a shit feeling.

I dont use FB for much, only for my local 4wd club, also to keep up with local news, as the major news IE: Electronic and print are crap, I mainly watch UA-cam, dont have Insta or TikToc.
Mind you Im on the other side of 60 lol.

no. anything can be removed from the internet. best to always back up your images /videos yourself to multiple places.
While I had a photography business I ended up with 7 accounts because the first 6 got blocked & deleted! Im on my 3rd youtube account but im still on my original insta account.

@@DanieSimpson Especially with facebook all it takes is 1 person to report you and say you did this or that and your account is deleted! I had a stalker for about 2 years and my 5th account all I did was play farmville and nothing else! That account got reported & deleted after 3 months

Yet another reason why NOT to link everything to one program.. I have no interest in tik tok whatsoever... I log into my FB like once a week and insta just as I crawl into bed each night for a quick check to see what happened.. that's about it.. I'm not a big social media user whatsoever.. has nothing to do with things being linked. simply poor security on Facebook and you are at more risk of losing your account only logging on once a week.

Same thing has happen to me, they set up a Facebook ads payment before it was spammed, which I didn’t know till the money was taken and I couldn’t cancel because I couldn’t access it, had to cancel it through PayPal.
I was worried about that happening also. Had to unlink my PayPal from Facebook

that's what I'd love to know! it's like they hack in through alternative routes and all the security does is stop people logging in the conventional way pretty much

@@jjsadv If you are an IT tech person you should know about the admin accounts, if you want to do business in some countries they require you to supply admin passwords to all servers. Once a pissed off government employ has access to things it is never safe again. That is why nothing showed to her that someone was logged in to her account, they went in using an admin level that is setup to not show when it is accessed.
