She did try she got folded like a lawn chair
She literally tried to steal it during her fight against Aoko in Mahoyo. She took the L the moment Aoko activated the Fifth Magic.
There may be other reasons for Aoko's compatibility with the Fifth (aside the obvious differences in their magic circuits).
Otherwise, their grandfather wouldn't have suddenly chosen Aoko (with basically no experience in magic at the time) to inherit the family crest, after having trained Touko so extensively.

Going by her skills etc... i already knew that Arcueid NEVER wants to meet Aoko i imagine even if she was at full power just because Aoko is that much of a unknown factor in things but those passives are pretty crazy it's making it sound like she has defence against things like EA and Marble Phantasm of course that's stretching it but who knows.

It was the first story Nasu wrote back in the 90s, even before Tsukihime, Fate, or Garden of Sinners. But he didn't release it until 2012, when he changed it from a light novel to a visual novel. It got an official English version in 2022, on Switch, Playstation, and Steam. Ufotable is making an anime movie too.

It is peak writing of Nasu's work and explain more about what is magecraft, Phantasmal, True Magic and many other terms that only got briefly explained in the Fate series. This is literally the basis of what Nasuverse is.

Nasu’s writing is hit or miss for me, and what I’ve seen of his earlier works isn’t really my cup of tea
I tried watching Garden of Sinners and dropped it after two movies, I couldn’t make heads or tails of what the hell was going on and none of the characters caught my interest.

This finally confirms for the aoko Stans that think she destroys shirou , her NP and strongest attack is A+ Anti Army which Shirou has 2 of, caladbolg and caliburn , and her mage craft can be blocked by kanshou and bakuya magic resistance The same way archer did against caster , then he had rho aias for the one’s he couldn’t block and that was able to tank a full power hrunting broken phantasm strong enough to destroy fuyuki bridge in HA, honestly her issue is her infinite magical energy and her time flickering, but if shirou can use ubw I think he could pull a win Sorry but yeah he can, not saying he would but he can, first aoko’s blast are magecraft and kanshou/bakuya have A rank magic resistance as shown when archer cancelled out Medea’s beams , then NP’s are a mystery and one of the key things in Mahoyo is that a lower mystery like magecraft can’t beat greater mysteries like phantasmals,servants and they’re np’s , then aoko’s starlight bow is a greater magecraft equivalent to an A rank anti army np and shirou has 2 of those being caladbolg and caliburn and for y’all saying he doesn’t have the magical energy to use them the vn showed when he projected caliburn that the magical energy needed to use the np came with it, and for the blast he can’t dodge he has rho aias ,then thanks to projection he can reach servant level strength and speed like nine lives or fighting saber alter so he’s way faster than her,even if she used her true magic it makes her better not increase her attack scale as shown as her vs touko didn’t even completely destroy the old school building compared to servant’s like berserker who threw one of the towers in illya’s castle and aoko can’t keep up her time flickering forever especially if shirou is using ubw
Base Aoko is already Servant level. Super Aoko annihilates Shirou, sorry not sorry
@@otakuphoenix3635 In the most recent collab event, Mash looked at Base, human Aoko and compared her to Servants. Mash and Ritsuka have been around hundreds of Servants so they know what they’re talking about.
If Base, human Aoko is Servant level, then guess what? Super Aoko is at least high tier Servant or above.
Shirou’s losing so hard, it’s not even funny. He peaked in the UBW route, but bro needed Rin’s magic crest and Gil to not try much against him to stand a chance. He wouldn’t even win properly against actual Archer and only won the philosophical battle.
@@otakuphoenix3635 Aoko can literally phase through time. It’s explained in the event that she simultaneously time travels 0.1 seconds into the future and past so that she isn’t “there” in the present, so she doesn’t need to be “fast” enough because she’d completely no-sell Nine Lives and then immediately blow Shirou’s face off point blank.
Shirou also can’t Trace any of her powers, because the second he tries to he’s gonna fry his brain trying to comprehend the Fifth Magic.
Not to mention that Earthlight Starbow isn’t even her strongest ability. In Melty Blood:Type Lumina, she has a power called “Retroflow: Genesis Light Year” that literally appears to straight up trap the enemy and then delete them from the timeline or some shit.
And it’s shown she can do that in Base, too, since she did that in the Mahoyo collab event to a certain mysterious figure (Aoko said she was able to erase them from the Singularity).
So yeah. Aoko’s cooking him, dude. Don’t fuck with Magicians.

1-blocked Heracles blows a servant with A rank strength and agility
2- parried a barrage from gate of Babylon (fate route)
3- generated the mana used to fire off caliburn
4 - blocked over 30 attacks from enhanced kuzuki who could beat saber with his first projection
5- fought archer WHO as shirou said at a point was attacking with the same force as berserker
6- used rho aias to block Hrunting an A rank broken phantasm that would destroy fuyuki bridge
7- performed nine lives blade works and if you try and say it was because of archer’s arm, that just helps him with projection, The magical energy needed for that came from him
8 - beat saber alter in sword combat using triple link crane wing
9- projected rule breaker that nullified magecraft in general
10 - fought hundreds of angra’s demons
11 - his projections are so efficient that even Rin a genius mage using a years worth of her gems to create a rho aias and it broke from a shockwave while shirous stopped an A rank broken phantasm with only 15 units of magical energy
7- he has stated he only needs 5 units to protect swords like kanshou,bakuya and caliburn and stated the magical energy to use then comes with the projection

7 - caliburn is an Np that is confirmed able to reach the same fire power as Excalibur but would break after but that is not a problem for shirou
8 - Avalon , people like to say shirou can only use it saber is near by but he projected and used it from the other side of the mountain in the end of the fate route and we saw from zero that when saber drove a few meters away irisviel said Avalon had stopped working, so shirou can use Avalon without her, and that was literally stated to be able to BLOCK THE 5 TRUE MAGIC’S AND CAN BE CONSIDERED A MAGIC ITSELF and it is the one item shirou can PERFECTLY recreate without any degradation
