Really like how you’re going the same route Forbidden did with a 148 rear end that is shared across the DH and enduro bike. Very practical for any type of rider and especially privateers!
@@ethantoth813 BBs are still wide but Spesh, GT, and YT are all 148 rear ends too. Personally wouldn’t buy a DH bike that isn’t 148 because you’ve got to then shell out more for a spare rear wheel and it’s nice to have that spare just live on my trail bike.
I would have shopped around the friends list for somebody who is really good with colorful sharpies, have that person draw a few motifs chosen the riders on the frames and then spray can clear coat over it - very individual, unique and low cost. 😊 And I'm not joking, I've actually at one point been thinking about having that done with a raw frame, because I think it can look awesome!
Love what you're doing, Neko. Semi-retired moto painter here (25 years in business) and I'd estimate the cost and weight of a paint job would be half of what you stated. If you're keen on paint options I'd love to help.
Yes, I set the max rotation speed to what I like so I can slow the motor down to catch up if I need to but have it pinned most of the time. I welded most of the frames with Olly controlling the speed so reduce brain fade.
Many also say “Kona” The first 4-bar rocker was Turner. The Turners were built in Chandler Az by Frank F.T.W. (also FTW made Dean Rocky Mountain Norco Mongoose)
Take that money to just make a pretty frame and use it to make a better frame... Freaking awesome! Best of luck FW, go get 'em.

Fr it’s so nice to not need different wheels, and pedaling a 68/73 mm bb is way more comfortable too, transition does it too with the tr11

Nice one, always a fan of anything FTW gets his welding mitts on. Good luck at World Champs!
Piece of raw tech. Love it🔥🔥🔥
Sweet bikes, real tech that works
Love this! Spending the money where it matters - also, those bikes are going to stand out.
Just by looking at it, I'm sure it'll turn heads. Nice!
It looks awesome, I think it’s at the point I personally would consider buying!
Looks so clean! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Hell yeah, boys. Clean ripping machine. World champs, let’s go!
😊🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 FTW 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great improvements

I think Neko running a Galfer Wave rotor in the front that's notorious for noise and vibration really shows how little he actually brakes :)
defenitely the best looking bike in downhill racing right now , stay working hard brother 🤙
Will they be rattle canned with the stars and bars for Asa?
this is sick... keep it up
Best bikes, coolest team.

Agreed/Nailed it
Absolute rock and roll
Incredible
Sick bro
Sweet
Go Neko GO!!!!
Thank you for the video Neko. Whay are you running different Galfer rotors front and back?
cool
That 'rotisserie' tool was so sick. Looks like it was 'hands off'... Does he have a foot pedal to control the rotation??

🤘🤘🤘
Try anodizing 🎉🎉 the frame
Could you anodize the aluminium maybe?
Molto bene
Raw is best!
other then geometry and kinematics, your bikes look similar to old school Elsworths, and other old school 4 bar or single pivot bikes.
