Seems really unlikely. He didn't pull a James Gunn and make a funny tweet--he pulled a Bill Cosby. True or not, he isn't being hired because of it. Additionally, he didn't deny it, and he deleted his social media accounts.

Basically he wanted a relationship, she wanted to sleep her way into a job, and when she didn't get that job she called him out for rape. Now he can't find work.
Soule's music to me is so much more than just music. It's memories. It's nostalgia. It's adventure and excitement. It's sadness and loss. It's moments of hysterical laughter. It's moments of awe and wonder. It was my childhood. Every game I heard his amazing music in was iconic. It helped form memories that have lasted a lifetime. Not many musicians or composers can say that about their music. Jeremy Soule is one of few.
You've just described music.
Jeremy Soule is a genius and must be remembered as one of the classical composers of our epoch.

Haven't played a video game since final fantasy 7 in 1997. What have I missed?
I wasn't much aware of who the composers of my favourite games were, but when I started to look up the info on them, almost all of them were composed by Jeremy Soule. This guy us magical!
David Wise is another, Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 had some of the best music also BattleToads tracks are so catchy

Jeremy Soul is a true musician. He has brought pure awe and wonder in my life with his music. Without a doubt, he is one of the greatest musicians of all time.

I've heard Skyrim's music hundreds if not thousands of times and I still find it beautiful. Secunda is my favorite.
Now, I finally know the name of the man who made so much music of my childhood. Oblivion, Guild Wars 1, Neverwinter, Skyrim. What powerful music.

i dont know if there's any video game composer that comes even close to jeremy soule. his music does not simply support the game, but interprets it and positively enriches and changes the whole experience. many of his pieces are not just functionally designed soundtracks, but music that developes out of it's own premises and holds up independently while still fantastically fitting into the game world.

Jeremy Soule, no one really knows whether or not you had been wronged or done anything sordid in your life, but I respect your work immensely. I have played many big titles including Witcher (Marcin Przybyłowicz), Dragon Age (Inon Zur), The Sims (Jerry Martin), etc., but none of the gaming music composers come remotely close to being able to conjure breathtaking landscapes in one's heart and mind as well as you do with your affective arrangements. Almost every piece of your music possesses gravitas, sentiment and most importantly, a story to tell. Skyrim would lose half its magic without your input. I also believe that the mastery you have with your craft and profound understanding of the potential of different orchestral instruments, is separate from who you are as a person, so I pray you return to Bethesda for TES VI. I hope that your career continues to thrive, for the good of all humanity. Even if you were to be proven guilty for your deeds, please consider making music as a means of redemption. Otherwise, Bethesda has got their work cut out for them to find someone of your caliber and judiciousness in composition.

No one knows what happened, though 1) you can check the wiki page of the person who launched the allegations; she was trained as a grievance studies activist, convinced that there is 'rape culture' everywhere.
2) the allegations were used strategically to make Bethesda and other organisations drop him as a collaborator; they never took him to court.
From these two combined I can infer he was wrongly cancelled by an extra-judicial system for what seem entirely opportunistic reasons.

My friends and I played the ever living heel out of Armies of Exigo. It was the perfect Warcraft 3 clone to play. Hearing his work in Oblivion I had the opposite response, "Hey, this is the Empire theme song from Exigo!" lol
...so there was still some Jeremy Soule to be discovered... Thank you so much ! I love his use of such a diversity of instruments, instruments that you can identify, follow, and be tripping with. Soule is a master.

I'm not a gamer, at all. But I am an epic genre fan and this is as good as it gets.
It is sad to think that we won't see any of his great works in another big title. The music industry is very unforgiving if the mistakes in your personal life become public.
To be fair, if his accusations are true, rape is a bit more than a mistake.

@@jiraffe9600 I have read a lot of the material that was up during the time of the accusation, and it all sounded like bullshit to me. Unfortunately, people don't really understand the concept of "innocent until proven guilty".

@@jiraffe9600 If you read the actual article, it becomes fairly clear that this "rape" is not what most people imagine when they hear the word. Nathalie Lawhead was seemingly involved with Jeremy Soule in an apparently weird, dark, possibly abusive relationship that continued well after the alleged, vague, rape. It also becomes very clear reading her article she is very likely bipolar, and in that same time period accuses two consecutive employers of life ruining abuse. It's incredible that no matter who a man is, and no matter how successful he is, his entire career can end with the mere word of a woman.
If not for Jeremy Soule, my memories with Armies of Exigo would never have been so great.
