Thanks for your most entertaining video. I grew up in Sydney, but have lived in Adelaide for most of the last 50 years. I completely empathise with your unexpectedly meeting the Swedish waiter, meeting a fellow compatriat overseas is a delight. No worries, mate ! And when you get locked out of your van. No worries, mate, we’re here to help.
That was more entertaining than most comedy movies ive watched .. Dylan and the shower door scene had me in tears and the wine tour lady and her cheese salad story 😂😂❤❤ safe journey 👍👍

Hi Guys, Watched your channel for first time when you visited Melbourne. Was waiting for you to show more than our amazing food. There are places in Melbourne that are iconic that you have not included like Great Ocean Rd, Mornington Peninsula with its wineries & hot baths. Our beautiful zoo in the city area & so much more. One of the most liveable cities.
Instead of a 3+ hour video, I think that you should break it down into Part 1, Part 2 etc. each being 20 - 30 minutes. Really enjoying it so far. Thank you.

I love your videos! This one is among my favorite. I'm an American living in Australia. I lived in Sydney before moving to the Blue Mountains. Just to let you know... if you think that a hotel in Darling Harbour that costs $105 AUD per night is expensive, it's not. It's WAY cheap. The average hotels there and in surrounding areas are about $200 per night on average, so you got a great deal. Australia is very expensive compared to most of the USA, so I guess it's all relative to where you are from if you think it's not expensive. I lived in the UK before and found it was more expensive than most of the USA, too. I absolutely love living here (and it's pretty easy figuring things out because I am married to an Australian), but I had huge sticker shock compared to living in the USA. Also, be prepared to have SLOW and expensive mail service if you want to get packages from family back home. Yes, the public transportation is probably the most affordable part of AU. I think you visited some great places, and it's interesting that you found each area had so many differences in the way houses and gardens looked. My husband often says that there are so many people from different countries that live in Sydney, so it doesn't have it's own identity, and we think that's a great thing because it brings so much diversity to Sydney. We also love Melbourne, and are now considering taking the dinner train ride you took the next time we go. Thanks for the great video! We love your channel!

Have you ever scrubbed a potato, poked it with a fork and baked a few of equal size, low for an hour, you can add butter if you want or eat it with stew or soup. Add sour cream or what you like. Check and remove with a thick tea-towel, if done it'll be squishy in the middle. Eat the skin too.. Cold ones can be eaten cold, if left over? Have you got room for an air fryer in you home van? Or a plug in snack oven? Have you heard of dry-pan steak? You start it cooking in water, a spoonful, until the fat on it comes out and finishes it cooking. The colour is pretty much grey, but the flavour is amazing. No marinade o anything needed. Did you try our prawns? Just peel them yourself and use shells for stock or throw them out. If you want a sauce like thousand island dressing, put equal amounts of tomato sauce and mayonnaise together and mix. I make pizza on two flat breads! Bottom one goes crunchy. Try basil pesto, pink salmon and bocconcini torn up. Or cold cooked chicken chunks with tomato sauce, for the base and mozzarella. Garlic bread is minced garlic from a bottle, thinly sliced mushrooms and mozzarelle on thick rounds cut from a hot-dog bun. The other buns can be split lengthwise, I use fish paste, creamed corn and whatever I want ham, salami, capsicum, then cheese. A bun makes two pizza subs. I use 3 for garlic bread and 3 for pizza. Did you try hawiian pizza in aussie? Or a lot burger with pineapple, a fried egg and pickled beetroot. You can ask for no meat, if you want. Have you tried aussie fish and chips? Go to maccas and get some vegemite, for a sanga lunch if you can't get another lunch?

Regarding parking in Australia. 1 - You can only park facing the direction of traffic. 2 - Look for signage as in some places you must park Front in, Rear in, or at an angle. In some places a combination of Front Angle or Rear Angle parking.
Thanks for giving me a fresh view if my own country. I was born in newcastle near the hunter valley and live in Queensland, Now i want to go visit Sydney, you guys are great to watch.
I loved your video even though I'm an Aussie and have been to a lot of places, I loved your easy going way of life. Looking forward to following and watching more.❤❤🐨🦘🇦🇺
The tower is one thing Melbourne misses out on. There are views available in the Eureka Tower but nothing that rotates. that passionfruit dessert looked yummy
Great video it’s so funny to hear someone say Australia is so cheap where we believe it’s so expensive to holiday here in our own country, sorry to see you had bad weather in Melbourne but that’s part of the city’s charm you can get all 4 seasons in the one day hope you come back some day to continue your journey look forward to watching your next clips.
I’m from WA and moved to Melbourne and travelled ALL over. I was lucky to be able to play at the Opera House (which does not just stage opera because I play experimental noise rock).. WA has MOST of the amazing natural wonders to see but it takes time to get all over. If you want to just see cities, then maybe stick to the east. Though Perth is a cute hub of many cultures and now actually holds the most respected academies for learning the arts. Some of the best things to witness in Australia though is the wonders of Great Barrier Reef where rainforest meets white sand, to an oasis and gorge in the middle of pure red dirt desert to beautiful mountains and then beautiful down to earth people you meet (especially in the small towns).
HELLO YOU TWO LOVE BIRDS watched all your OZ vids. and now watching your compilation. Looks like Aust agreed with you. My Toureag had a habit of locking me out too. next time you should spend more time around Melbourne. Melb is very European very cultural. not as hectic as Syd. the pace is slower. btw after you left Melbourne we had a week of 38c. a little hot. then the rain gave us a visit. you missed out on visiting The Dandenong ranges. Stawell. The Grampians Mt. Arapiles. we planted a Pine plantation around the grampians 70 years ago and now its a beautiful thick forest. Porepunkah., Mount Beauty (sort of Switzerland but a little bit larger) BRIGHT. i CAN IMAGINE you two owning a nice campervan like the Fiat. and spending the rest of your life visinting our BEAUTIFUL LITTLE ISLAND WE CALL HOME the North is in the tropics. meaning it's humid and when it rains IT GETS VERY WET. WE were very lucky to have two such beautiful persons come visit us PL.EASE do not feel strangers. We are waiting for your return WHO KNOWS Perhaps one day you WILL be one of us. ps;. if you ever have a break down someone will always stop to help. WISH you all the happiness for your future (together) And look forward to your next visit God bless
Great video. Glad you are liking Australia. Hope you get a chance to checkout Brisbane and some sights around Queensland next time. Lots of big infrastructure jobs happening atm in preparation for the 2030 Olympics so maybe leave it a year or so and come see Brisbane.
In the olden days Manly was a lot quieter and a popular holiday spot for locals who couldn’t travel further. It had the slogan ‘11 miles from Sydney, 100 miles from care’
where else can you park an ocean liner on the main street (George st) and have the grand canyon a couple of hours from the city centre, the tourist board may want to sign you up, good video, lunch at the ICEBERGERS CLUB at BONDI BEACH would have been a nice addition
Your joy is contagious. Australia is my favorite travel destination. 2nd trip do check out Brisbane & the Gold Coast - some of the best beaches in the world. Love the people of Australia.
as an Aussie, it makes us smile & very happy when people like this couple come over & see this awesome place for what it is.....The Best Place On Earth... hope you come back & take a look at WA, Perth is very nice,,, but the rest of WA is spectacular ... I never watch blogs, but I enjoyed watching the whole 3 hours... I grew up in NSW so it was great to see all the places I used hang out.. in Katoomba (Blue Mountains) 1 of the 3 sisters partially fell down so now only 2.5 sisters!!
Flinders St station doesn't have the longest platform in Australia .. East Perth interstate terminal does .. the Indian Pacific transcontinental train with 34 carriages stops there.

Loved your video on Australia. I can Recommend the Gold Coast/ Brisbane area including Byron Bay, very beautiful especially the Hinterland , lots of Rainforests, waterfalls and the Gold Coast has amazing Beaches also. Best time of year I would say April / May :)
Seems you enjoyed you visit, hope you do come back, maybe next time come to Brisbane, and just get a camper for a few weeks, go down to the gold coast and work your way north from there to the great barrier reef. there's so many things to do in this region alone. Adelaide and Perth are so far apart you'd just spend days driving from 1 to the other, so do them in separate trips as well, there you go, three more trips to Oz, or just come back for a year on a working holiday visa if you can and do a big lap.
@@2Passports1Dream It varies country to country, for some countries coming to Australia it's up to 35 yo, so worth checking, worst that can happen is you find out yes too old, but maybe you find out you can 🤞
I think you missed a trick when you didn’t go to Jervis Bay on the South Coast of NSW. It’s one of the best places for camping and has some of the whitest sandy beaches on Earth. If/when you visit Australia again, I highly recommend going south of Sydney and exploring this beautiful region.
You're quite right - Australia doesn't have a cuisine, just a couple of unique things. One advantage of that, however, is that the food from immigrant communities is REALLY authentic and really good. Aussies don't really have expectations of what the food ought to be like, so they tend be very accepting and open to new tastes.
On the bright side atleast the van self locking debacle happened in a caravan park where you could get help, Can’t imagine if it happened out in the middle of nowhere 😬
The Jetstar is like lottery airlines. Most of the times they are fine but if you are “lucky”, there is always 10% chance it gets cancelled, way more often than Qantas.
It’s soft water, it actually tasted pretty nice. Bear in mind that we are from Sweden and north wales, both places that have very tasty tap water - and it was pretty good!

Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
What a delightful channel. You’re so much fun!
Thank you so much 😊😊
Great video! Next time i'd recommend Canberra, and possibly Mt Druitt (best mountain views in aus)
Very entertaining! So glad you guys had a great time in our great country
Thank you so much!! 😄
Regarding parking in Australia.
1 - You can only park facing the direction of traffic.
2 - Look for signage as in some places you must park Front in, Rear in, or at an angle. In some places a combination of Front Angle or Rear Angle parking.
Whoopsie! Thank you for the info!
Makes me wish I could just forget my memory of living here since I was born and just enjoy sightseeing like you do each day
Hahaha we feel like that sometimes - would love to see things for the first time again 😍😍
The opera house is actually one building the sails are seperate to the podium level which is interconnected.
Ooooooh I see! Thanks!
Ooooooh I see! Thanks!
The segments of the opera house roof make a sphere if you could assemble them.
Thanks for giving me a fresh view if my own country. I was born in newcastle near the hunter valley and live in Queensland, Now i want to go visit Sydney, you guys are great to watch.
Thanks so much 🙏🏼😍
Loved your video ❤️ next time in Melbourne visit The Lume and drive the Great Ocean Road ✌️
Oooooh! Thanks for the recommendations! 😍
I loved your video even though I'm an Aussie and have been to a lot of places, I loved your easy going way of life. Looking forward to following and watching more.❤❤🐨🦘🇦🇺
Thank you so much!! 😍😍
The tower is one thing Melbourne misses out on. There are views available in the Eureka Tower but nothing that rotates. that passionfruit dessert looked yummy
Hope you had a great time in Australia. But you need to visit again as there is still so much you need to see and do.
Definitely need to visit again 😍🇦🇺
Great video guys! I'm a new subscriber now because I came across this 😊 I'm an Aussie and live in Melbourne. We have it pretty good down here.
Thank you so much! 🥹😍
We didnt expect it to be rainy and cold in Australia, welcome to Melbournes weather !
Hehee it threw us a curveball!
Amazing. Last time I went to Australia I was in the Gold Coast. Should give that a try next time you go there!
I like your videos and inspiration. I know you're like discover the world then maybe moon or mars, lol.
We definitely want to return again 😍😍 we loved it!
Oh yes we have so many more places we want to visit 😍🥰 we absolutely loved our stay!
Great video. Glad you are liking Australia. Hope you get a chance to checkout Brisbane and some sights around Queensland next time. Lots of big infrastructure jobs happening atm in preparation for the 2030 Olympics so maybe leave it a year or so and come see Brisbane.
Oooooooh sounds cool! 😍 thank you for the suggestions!
In the olden days Manly was a lot quieter and a popular holiday spot for locals who couldn’t travel further. It had the slogan ‘11 miles from Sydney, 100 miles from care’
That’s such a good slogan! Literally makes us want to go back again 😍
Exotic honeymoon destination circa 1950s
Glad you had a good time, maybe you could stay a little longer next time there is so much to see❤
Definitely want to come again 😍
where else can you park an ocean liner on the main street (George st) and have the grand canyon a couple of hours from the city centre, the tourist board may want to sign you up, good video, lunch at the ICEBERGERS CLUB at BONDI BEACH would have been a nice addition
Thank you for the suggestion!! 😍🙏🏼
Bondi Icebergs
Grand Canyon? You obviously haven't been to The Kimberley whi h is amazing especially the Bungle Bungles.
Really enjoyed this. Still so much for you to see here 😊
Thank you!!!
Glad you guys had a good time here
Thank you 😊😊
Your joy is contagious. Australia is my favorite travel destination. 2nd trip do check out Brisbane & the Gold Coast - some of the best beaches in the world. Love the people of Australia.
Thank you 😍😍
The advertising got you "that one says Best Ever Popcorn" that just means it has some flavour 😂🤣👍👍
It wasn’t even the best 🥲🥲🥲 we got bamboozled
I love the best ever popcorn. Tastes like cinema popcorn.
Come to Perth,, beautiful beaches and doesn't rain often enough. Adelaide is a great ppcity too.
Oooooooh it’s going right to the top of the list 😍
as an Aussie, it makes us smile & very happy when people like this couple come over & see this awesome place for what it is.....The Best Place On Earth... hope you come back & take a look at WA, Perth is very nice,,, but the rest of WA is spectacular ... I never watch blogs, but I enjoyed watching the whole 3 hours... I grew up in NSW so it was great to see all the places I used hang out.. in Katoomba (Blue Mountains) 1 of the 3 sisters partially fell down so now only 2.5 sisters!!
We will be back again one day and try to see much much more!!
Flinders St station doesn't have the longest platform in Australia .. East Perth interstate terminal does .. the Indian Pacific transcontinental train with 34 carriages stops there.
Oh you’re right!! Both very long haha wow!
I've met a couple swedes in Sydney, I think there is definitely more Swedes coming to Australia which is great! Lovely language!
Oh awesome!! Happy to hear that 😍
Greetings it is Jeff once again from Melbourne I’m watching you eating your doughnuts in at the Vic market in Melbourne did you enjoy your doughnuts aren’t they yummy when you’re driving around Melbourne they have those vans all over the place so you can pick him up practically anywhere yours Jeff I am in a suburb called Rosebud which is south of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula I hope you enjoyed Melbourne because I am 71 And I have to leave till my life yours Jeff Melbourne is got a reputation of having four seasons in one day
Guys I have to say this has been so entertaining especially the wine tour 😂, as much of a drinker wow 😂 I’d not be able to finish it haha. So good guys 😊👍
Hehee she was hilarious! 😂
Loved your video on Australia. I can Recommend the Gold Coast/ Brisbane area including Byron Bay, very beautiful especially the Hinterland , lots of Rainforests, waterfalls and the Gold Coast has amazing Beaches also. Best time of year I would say April / May :)
Thank you so much for the suggestions!! 😍😍
Byron USED to be lovely.
@@wyzolma99 True, getting crazy busy now, I know what you mean.
At that Vinyard near Cessnock/Nulkaba in the Hunter Valley.. I was born at the hospital where those mountains in the background were visible.
No way!!! ☺️
The progression of little jokes is amazing. LOTS OF STORAGE!!
Hehehe ❤️
Seems you enjoyed you visit, hope you do come back, maybe next time come to Brisbane, and just get a camper for a few weeks, go down to the gold coast and work your way north from there to the great barrier reef. there's so many things to do in this region alone. Adelaide and Perth are so far apart you'd just spend days driving from 1 to the other, so do them in separate trips as well, there you go, three more trips to Oz, or just come back for a year on a working holiday visa if you can and do a big lap.
Thank you for your suggestions! 😍🙏🏼 I fear we are slightly too old for the working holiday visa 🥹
Oh wow that sounds lovely! We definitely want to come back again in the future 😍
Beg to differ..... Western Australia has the whitest beach sand. I've lived Manly to Palm Beach....sand on Sydney beaches doesn't cut it🤷😉
Makes me happy you enjoyed our unique country ❤
😍❤️
Great video, i am glad you like Australia
Thank you so much! 😍
That sounds like a 10/10 for regional local produce!
You're quite right - Australia doesn't have a cuisine, just a couple of unique things. One advantage of that, however, is that the food from immigrant communities is REALLY authentic and really good. Aussies don't really have expectations of what the food ought to be like, so they tend be very accepting and open to new tastes.
That’s just amazing - the best of allll corners of the world 😍
On the bright side atleast the van self locking debacle happened in a caravan park where you could get help,
Can’t imagine if it happened out in the middle of nowhere 😬
You’re right! That would have been terrible 🥹

The Jetstar is like lottery airlines. Most of the times they are fine but if you are “lucky”, there is always 10% chance it gets cancelled, way more often than Qantas.
Great to see your videos. One question , is.australian / sydney water soft or hard water? Howz water taste. Thanks
It’s soft water, it actually tasted pretty nice. Bear in mind that we are from Sweden and north wales, both places that have very tasty tap water - and it was pretty good!
Hii@@2Passports1Dream , Im from South West England and here its hard water hence asking as its one of my criteria for a big tick :)
Your next trip to Australia please come to Tasmania and roadtrip around especially the north west where the air is the cleanest in the world.❤😊
Road trips are the best the Motorhome is an amazing idea we hook up a trailer and have two Triumph motorcycles we park in next to the house when not in use glad to had a good time. Live in Canberra just outside Bungendore
Oh wow that sounds amazing 😍😍
