I've been meaning to this early work of his for a long time . The Sinfonia Concertante is unforgettable I played it with my highschool orchestra and a very well-trained violist for highschool graduation !

Wow, this concerto is definitely different than the other concertos Mozart composed. The oboe, viola and cello also had their solo parts besides the 2 soloist violins.

True. In this regard the instrumentation is similar to some of the later piano concertos - the double variation middle movement of 482 comes to mind.
