Great to see the D1 back out again. I own a '94 V8 and planning to get into some more serious offroading. Good to see what they can do when driven well!
That 'Rossi' D1 is the ducks nuts cobber! being a D1 owner, im ever so slightly biased lol. Great drive Evo, all 3 rigs made it look so easy. Great to see the 'Rossi' again. Cheers for sharing.
Can someone kindly provide information about the D1 as in wheel sizes, gearing ratios within axle differentials, transfer case and main gearbox and finally amount of lift from the coil springs or maybe even a body lift? What an amazing machine!
Hey buddy the D1 has no body lift but is running 3 inch dobinsons flexy coils. The rear sits lower than the front when loaded up so also has 1inch spacers which level it out. Empty the rear sits higher ginving it some rake which i think looks great. 35inch tyres on beadlocks with 4.43 diff gears from GBR and 49% MaxiDrive transfer case reduction gears. It's also running Hytuff axle f&r with Ashcroft CV's. If you need to know anything else just let me know 👍
Hiya bud any chance of some more information on the D1 like suspension axles etc I noticed it's 6 lugnut so not landrover axles unless they have been modified it's good to see them out and flexing well iv got a D1 but a 300tdi and I'm in the UK so we don't have as tuff tracks over here but still do some ruff stuff from time to time
Great channel. Intelligent mods to the cars. I have fitted a RRC Boge Hydromat to my D1, bringing several benefits. If I can bothered I may modify the leading/trailing arm brackets (further fwd and rrwd) for longer link arms. Having plated the chassis and added an extra cross member, it is strong enough and double cardan jointer props reduce vibration with my 5" lift. I might life the body 1", reduce suspension lift to 4" and fit 9.00 r16 XLs to get clearance. All money though and tinkering really. Wish Ashcroft still did the underdrive box.
Thanks for the accolades 👍 Thats a good mod list you have, should make the vehicle unstoppable 💪 Unfortunately the demand for the underdrive is simply not there but i too wish Ashcroft still made it.
hi team! another great video, you all have super class SUVs! and good franchisor, but my choice is always towards the defender! he is as good as ever, he has a terrible bridge crossing! i am sure that even a hummer cannot get through everything that the defender undertakes! bravo team!
Oh man i wish i could but unfortunately i was so busy with other aspects of life i couldn't keep up with a weekly video. Then we had a crazy lockdown. Hopefully back into it weekly from December onwards.
@@lror We have now become a big family. and you are part of it. Just seeing you makes us very happy. It is not so easy to maintain a weekly cadence at the expense sometimes of its few obligations. You already have an innedit track record 👏 and we are very proud of you.

Yeah, pretty cool to see the difference in wheelbase over the obstacles.
Defender never ceases to amaze! Once again an awesome video! May I ask what motor the county is running? because the v8 sounds a lot like an isuzu...
Yep the old girl goes good and yes your ears are telling you correctly 4bd1t 💪
It seems to be like this one 😉 m.ua-cam.com/video/cOsCEyvWG-g/v-deo.html

Im making a little video with old footage and photos as a Talk Around of all the mods and what i would do differently.
Great to see you back , I miss you .
Bit of a random question but what colour is the discovery 1?

Love the defender amazing vehicles.disco1 great tool too defender with comfort!!
It's back! I love the Discovery, what an awesome machine. The 110 is also a favourite, but it doesn't sound as good, lol.
The disco definitely sounds good and is actually heaps of fun to drive.
Love that Disco.
Maybe when Trump returns the driver , he can send him with enough durries and dosh ,to get it back on the road.
Have to sit him down and have a therapy session with him
You owe us an explanation for this absence. Otherwise it would then have to be compensated by two videos per week 😜
