I get the comparison but the D2X will hold its own shot at a low iso on a tripod just like you were shooting film. The D2X had a fabulous sensor that still looks good.
Thank you for the comparisons. I'm new into photography and don't exactly have funds for it yet, being a student. So i'm thinking of buying old pro gears like the D2x as a start. This helps a lot. 😄
Hard to say - depends on so many things! It's still a good camera if you shoot in daylight/outdoors, and that is a pretty cheap price. I can't tell you what is right for you, but if you have Nikon lenses and don't need a low light camera, it may be worth considering...all depends on your use, budget, and needs. :) Good luck!
I've heard some rumblings that they were working on a deal to sell it. Haven't heard whether or not it went through...I hope they can hang on to it! Love those old deco cinemas!
😂😂😂 they're not even comparable 😅 d2x is already done by 800 iso. I can shoot the same with a tripod and lower shutterspeed. No need no higher iso 😮 however I would have compared the R6 with a D5 or D6. 😂 i'm even sure nobody would even make or notice any difference if I've shot a picture with a d2x by night with a tripod with only iso 200 and your canon R6 with iso 3000 for example
I'm in Skokie! And i just bought a D2x! amazing

It's a great camera for sure. I still own it! Thanks for the comment.
Unfair comparison considering the age of the Nikon D2x.
Comparison is because the D2X was my last camera before this one...just showing the differences. Not a buyers guide! :)
@@bluemountainprojects All good, enjoy the photography. It's a therapeutic experience. 😊😊
@@peterhobbs4780 It sure is--and the same to you! Thanks for the comments!

Thanks for the comment. The D2X is a good camera...all the best to you as you start learning photography...it's a lot of fun!
D2x wins in build quality, and might outlast the Canon despite the 19 year headstart. My D2x is still going strong with 300.000 shutter clicks.
Wow! That's very cool. It really is a great camera. I've enjoyed it, and still own it!
I have the possibility to buy an D2X for only €150 (with less than 15,000 shots) you think i should buy it ?

Man I’m going to miss the Pickwick.

There is a pretty big tint difference, as well...
Enjoyed
Thank you!
Well Duh, of course a 20 year old sensor is going to have more noise compared to new sensors 😂- Fun to watch though
Yeah--it was more to show how much different the new camera I bought is from what I was used to shooting with before! Thanks for the comment!

Lol...comparison was done because the D2X was the last camera I had purchased before the R6 Mark II. :)
NEWEST Canon vs 20 years old Nikon? loooool
Yep! The Nikon was my last camera before this new Canon - a huge change!
@@bluemountainprojects OK, but it is nonsense to compare something like this
@@prokremelskidezolati1426 every comparison is good. People compare cameras and phones regularly. I learnt something from this video
