Thanks to Xtream for his RTX.
This theme has always been my favorite. The movement, the feeling, the magic. John Williams you dear soul, thank you for bringing this to us. Pure magic.
I love John ❤️ very much too.
Some (most) of John Williams' movie pieces are so sublime that it is hard to appreciate that they were composed by man at all.
If there was ever a man directly inspired by God, it's the legendary John Williams.
I’ve been a fan of him since Harry Potter
How many times hear this melody , tears come to my eyes , remembering my childhood
Me too...best regrads from Santiago, Chile
I'm sat here in tears 😢
Great childhood memories
This movie was on the cinema when my father dies. I was four years old and my mother takes me to watch this film to try to make me forget the bad moments... My mother pass aways a month ago and here I am fullfiled on tears. Miss my beloved ones. Thank you for this music
@@BXS1001 sorry for your loss , hope this movie make you happy for a fell hours
I always will believe John Williams was gift from God
His music brings frequencies of Happiness up and out to the Universe
Yes! Agree!
The truth bro ❤
I have just orded the 20 cd s book boxset the legend of John Williams
I just want to cry when I hear this masterpiece. John Williams, you are the best composer ever.
This is my favorite John Williams theme.
explains why your names Dennis then
@@aldoringo439 ok, that one went way over my head, so I'm just going to smile and nod...
@@DennisCaunce maybe having to do with Dennis Brain, one of the most famous French Horn players if all time. This piece absolutely features the horns.
*All you 80’s kids like me,* how lucky were we to grow up with John William’s music?!!! He brought so much MAGIC!!!!! ✨🌟💫🌟⭐️✨💫✨
I’m FOREVER thankful!!!!!! ✨🌟💫🌟⭐️✨💫✨
Yep i saw E.T in theater in 1982 !, temple of doom too. ;).

Aww!! Too fun!! My sister says ET was the first movie she went to see. I think I was too young to remember, but I definitely remember watching it at home a lot! 🥰🌝🚴
And yeah, gotta love all of Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and so many more!! 🙌🏻🎉
I played this in the car for my kids and asked them how did it make them feel just listening to it. I have not shown them E.T. and I can guarantee they have never heard this music before.
They said it sounds like a fun adventure flying.
Yassss!!! So true! Classical music especially in movies just sounds so amazing!
This composer will be remembered hundreds of years from today.
92 years old today! The greatest!
Back in the day when I was a kid and the world still looked so magical
I’m 30 but I wish I was born sooner
Everytime John Williams plays Flying Theme from ET, there will be a huge round of applause.
To this day, it is his signature piece of Movie Magic. Splendid!
Kenneth A Huang 8/26/22
I mean I would argue the title of movie MAGIC belongs to Hedwigs Theme but i agree ❤
You can't really say John Williams has one single signature piece of movie magic... He has made far to many to call a single one out...
There Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, a whole Star Wars suite of music, E.T. and my personal favorite.... Superman. I mean, just the beginning brass horns is enough for me to get misty eyed 😀😀
How many of us can say that John Williams wrote the soundtrack to our youth? From this, to Raiders of the Lost Ark, to the music for the Los Angeles Olympics of 1984.
This brings me back to being a kid back in the 80s. Life was so.much easier. Mom and Dad were in their prime and still alive.
I have a special connection to this film. I was born 3 months after the uk release and twelve years later my brother was born. His name? Elliot!
John Williams has written every memory I have from growing up.
ET's my favorite movie of all time, this music brings me to tears every single time. John Williams is THE MAN!
I can not think of another score on earth that has this effect on me.... A little girl with mummy brother and grandma about 4 years old... I sobbed and sobbed.. One of my most wonderful memories... We went to see it at a ABC cinema in Leicester
This always makes me 😭
Maestro John Williams, thank you for the great themes so many classics of our parents time and crossed to our generation and many to come. Genious.
I want to thank him before he dies.
I play violin for community orchestras and one hot, humid weekend in Sudbury, MAss, celebrating their tri? centennial the whole town was in the field at the local town booths. We, the orchestra were in the high school and on our program was an assortment of compositions, including a folk singer. Our last piece was John William's ET. Well, it started to rain, so the whole town came in the auditorium, SRO. We are finishing up with ET, the strings tremolo on high E, drums...boom boom boom progressively louder (I'm getting goosebumps!) and the last note. Well, I play for the audience and one of the ways I gauge the impact is to count the seconds before applause. I'm counting....nothing? And then it happened. This piece is dynamic and so powerful. I watched this video, it all came back and I cried.
Thanks for your story Jaqueline ! yes, it's sometimes, happen, people are in a special taste, knocked by the performance and the tune itself. it happens, sometimes, you can hear this silence before the applaude on the Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert as well.
Must be something very special to play live ! Congrats !
To have lived during John Williams scores and Steven Spielberg's movies has truly been a blessed life! We were all so fortunate.
And the Fabelmans proves they can still make some magic
Williams is the GOAT
Doesn't matter how many times I hear it, I never get tired of listening to it.
Beautiful memories! Soulful wonderful music!!
All of John Williams music is amazing. Superman, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Star Wars and of course ET. But ET is my favourite. Nothing evokes so much emotion and nostalgia for me. I just close my eyes when I hear it and I’m a 9 year old child again. Mixed emotions. So happy to hear it but so sad that it was so long ago…
I forst saw the film when i was 22 and God!!! Tears.......
Love watching him direct.
It’s “conduct”. I think “direct” is more German?
Masterpiece!! So many childhood memories 👏👌
God bless you John William. Welcome to you.
Dreams live forever..... memories never fade
The greatest film composer
Still gets me. ❤❤❤
One of the many great compositions o John Williams.
John Williams talent is nothing short of God given talent!
Fantastic piece of music. I bought the 7 inch vinyl of this theme on picture disc and it has ET on the A Side. Wonderful score just Wonderful. Robert Bridgend 🏴
Beautiful
From deep of heart I love this music
I just love that you have all these snippets from different points in John Williams' career!
And again, nice clean sound!
Ah, the incomparable John Williams! His music will live on forever!
It takes me to another world when i hear this theme
Dear John
You are part of my life , thanks to you I discovered in my childhood the powerful sound of a orchestra and with your music discover new feelings, I cried , laughed and got excited with your huge themes. One of the reason of my love for the cinema are you and your eternal friend and partner Steven Spielberg. Thank you for everything and the most important thing, always will be in our hearts your music is eternal
P.D waiting the new score for Indy and meet me again with my childhood
Absolutely thrilling!
My all-time favorite movie soundtrack!!!
If one were to ask me what piece of John Williams’s work did I think best represents everything he’s done, and what he can do, I will always go to this piece/the entire ending piece of E.T. It really touches on everything he does and is able to use and do.
I will always say John Williams is the composer to many of our childhoods.
To me it's the Superman theme. That piece of music is just 🤩😍🤩😍🤩
For me nothing tops his music for Superman!
How lucky were/are we?? 🤩😍
I’m 30 and been a fan since Harry Potter
I may be listening to this video for a music class but having already been familiar with John Williams music before taking the class this did not feel like I was doing an assignment but rather it felt like I was listening to a Legend in film music as John Williams is a beast with his scores and this piece was absolutely incredible!
All music composed this great man, John Williams is other worldly. Long live and prosper John
Childhood memories 😢😢😢😢
Just magic
OMG JOHN WILLIAMS IS A GENIUS
Ah,...The master at work!
This is the song I’m useing for my figure skating program
Genius
I absolutely love the E.T. soundtrack, I have listened to "Adventures on Earth" probably a hundred times. Funny, in 2002, I was finishing my master's degree at New England Conservatory, so I was physically on the same city block as this concert but missing it. At the moment of this concert, I was probably practicing badly in a practice room or stuffing my gob at Boston Shawarma and either way, missing this concert.
😊
Yeah, HORNS! Also, I love a good dramatic timpani ending!
Many of his themes are comprised of a mere handful of notes, but Williams was a master at putting those notes in the right order.
Immortality
Such a nice show, I haven't heard this since it came out
Simply stunning ❤❤❤❤❤
Nice remaster! Bravo 😍
Simplesmente genial, John Williams e também Ennio Morricone são insubstituíveis.
c'était monstrueux
They played that at the San Francisco Symphony when I went last year in August 2021!!
Magnificent.
Listen to the 4th mvt of Beethoven’s 5th symphony. Three minutes in and you’ll hear the “flying theme”.
john williams sais ecouter et intertpreter, comprendre et imaginer, THE GENIUS
Absolutely amazing, such great memories.
KH: THE FLYING THEME FROM “ ET. THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL “.
JOHN WILLIAMS CONDUCTED THE BOSTON POPS ORCHESTRA.
Kenneth Huang 10/9/23.
Isso faz qualquer homem chorar
Unusually gifted this music fit perfectly for the movie E.T.
I don't know how I've heard this theme so many times, yet I have never gotten to see ET in its entirety. John Williams is a global treasure that must be protected at any cost
Then you should give at least one viewing!
@@manuelorozco7760 That's my eventual goal, Manuel. One day soon mate, one day soon.
@@dukeofrodtown1705 Then go for it. It’s essential blockbuster history
I have gone......All emotions at fever pitch... Tears..Love..Sadness...Joy...All at once...... MAGIC!!!!!!
It’s amazing the similarities many of Williams’ pieces share, this theme would not seem out of place in Harry Potter, nor would some of the Jurassic World pieces seem out of place in Star Wars, it’s almost like all of them are part of John Williams’ own universe!
Nakatanggap ba ng musical scoring ang pelikula na ito. Ang husay.
John Williams is E.T.
He is J.W.
A must genius indeed
Ficou perfeito! Parabéns!
fantastic 🥺
Amazing
He did it good
Imaging conducting your own piece in a 100 person orchestra
Elliot: He's a man from outer space. We're taking him to get back to his space ship.
Greg: Can't he just 'Beam up?'
Elliot: This is reality Greg.
The Boss !
Tears
I'll be rigth here☝️
This is how you write music... not a stitch of boredom.
Tough to find film music like this these days
If you’re a millennial and the tail end of gen x, John williams raised and shaped all of us! ❤️❤️🫡
❤
Ave Maestro !
Great movies
brian im trying to find that thread - congrats and i was hoping to see your family in the crouwd but cant find it
Dobro je da postoji nesto.
1:48 French Horn owns the whole scene.
If you never had a tear eye in your listing to this your a liar
One of the most beautiful film scores ever written! And John Williams himself conducting is always a thrill.
