What Is SFO and CFO In NetApp HA Policy?
This video explains what is Netapp HA policy, what is SFO and CFO. All these concepts are a subtopic of takeover and giveback features of NetApp cluster mode.
What is Netapp HA Policy?
HA policy is assigned to each aggregate of NetApp node which decides the sequence in which aggregate failover happens to the partner node.
What is SFO?
SFO stands for storage failover. SFO policy is assigned to data aggregate and under SFO failover of data aggregate happens to the partner node.
What is CFO?
CFO stands for controller failover. CFO policy is assigned to root aggregate and under CFO failover of data aggregate happens to the partner node.
During the takeover, SFO happens first and then CFO. It means the takeover of data aggregate happens first and then the takeover of root aggregate happens.
During the giveback, CFO happens first and then SFO. It means the giveback of root aggregate happens first and then the giveback of data aggregate happens. - Наука та технологія
