    Thanks! I'm at 132,000. Considering doing mine since they are factory. Not running bad or anything but just thought I would do it anyways.

    Hey Andy, is there a way to see what the gap should be on the plugs? I'm ordering from rockauto and they have a bunch of different plug gaps pre set from .031" to .044" The NGKs have a pre set gap of .036". Thanks!

    Thanks for the video. Is the 2019 V6 the same engine as what you’re working on?

    Hey, Andy! I am so glad that I came across your channel! I have been watching you for the past few years on 1A Auto. I have a mechanic who I somewhat trust, but makes me iffy at times, as I can never get the answers that I need. I currently have a 1998 Camry LE with 130K miles. I never had a Transmission nor a Differential fluid change on the vehicle, is it too late to do one now, as I've heard doing so can cause slippage with the gears and shifting can become bad? Also, I only use 5W-30 conventional oil on my vehicle, how often should I change it in regards to months/mileage, should I be changing it every 3-4K miles/3-4 months?
    And lastly,over the past several months, each time I release my foot off of the brake pedal, I hear a piercing noise. I brought the car to two different mechanics, hoping they would take the time to lift the car and take off the tires to see what could be the source, but they did not even do that. I am trying to figure out if it's something wrong with the front/rear brake pads, rotors,or calipers,but I just do not know.
    I apologize the for the lengthiness of my message,but I am just so lost, as I've done numerous reasearches online, but I am never satisfied with the results. I had an owner's manual, but lost it nearly 3 years ago, and I looked up one online, but it was not thorough on maintenance schedules/service intervals.

      Hi😁
      Yes some people say you can ruin your transition if you flush it at that mileage if you haven’t done it regularly. It’s a 50/50 shot. I normally say flushing it is better than not but Because of the year and the I would be cautious.
      3-4K is fine the months shouldn’t matter unless it’s over a year. I personally just use synthetic and go 5k.
      Your brake problem is tough with out hearing it there isn’t much I can do. It could be something with the calipers or the clips. You might have to try another place. Hope this helps. Thanks for being a fan. 😁👍

      @@AndyTheXTech I appreciate it all! Thank you, Andy! You have been great! It was just "bugging" and stressing me out so much, because it is hard to find a genuine, empathetic mechanic. I will try to find the answer in regards to the brakes and see what is said. I came across your personal channel by luck; I was looking for something in regards to conventional oil, then your channel popped up. I never knew you had your own channel. This is great!

    Did you have to adjust the gap on the NGK spark plugs before installing them?

    • @AndyTheXTech
      @AndyTheXTech  5 місяців тому +1

      I did not. They were pre-gapped. With iridium plugs you have to be very careful. It’s almost better to just try an eyeball it. You’re not supposed to touch the electrode at all with anything. But they seem to be working fine.
